Edgar Romanov? Dammit! Why is it that out of all people, she has to involved herself with the worst kind of person, why? And worse, that bastard is keeping her for lust, that's how I view it, because there is no way, a man like him can ever fall in love.
Phoebe, my dear Phoebe, I have been aiming for her ever since she stepped into The Moreau mansion, I have dreamt my whole life that I will eventually marry her, I don't care if she is not someone who is as great as I am in status and education, I want her. ALL of HER.
I have to bring her back, I know who I am dealing with, but then again, I myself is not someone who comes from an ordinary family. I have power, wealth, and connections all over the world and I will use them if I have to.
Right now, I will.
I dial the number of my secretary, I need to get in contact with someone who can help me with this matter.
"Jean, I need a favor."
"What can I help you with Mr. Moreau?"
"I need you to connect me with Flynn Duncan"
"That man? But why?"
"Just do as I say or else you are fired."
"Of course, Mr. Moreau"
And with that I turn off the dial button and walk toward the couch to rest my head on the back of the couch in my office.
"Phoebe, I will come for you, just wait for me... gosh."

"Are you feeling better now?" Right now, we are at the dining room having our first breakfast since the unexpected incident that happened last night, I still can't get over what happened, both the moment when my life and these people's lives were at stake, and the moment when I kissed Edgar.
Right, I actually kissed him.
For goodness sake, I don't know what came over me at that moment, maybe it was the feeling of relieved when I saw his face again, or maybe, worse, something more.
But I have to admit, it was probably one of the best kids I have ever had, just, on the wrong timing, fortunately, I managed to control myself before he did anything more than that.
Maybe staying with him has influenced me in a way, maybe, I have developed Stockholm syndrome, gosh, there are just so many things wrong going on in my head now, I don't even know anymore.
"Yes, I'm fine." I reply back to him after what seems like five minutes straight, he observes my face to examine whether or not I am telling the truth, but then he sighs, and he stands up from his seat, and approaches me to grab my hand.
"No, you are still upset about something, is it because of last night, are you thinking about the sweet ki-"
"No, I am not." I cut him off in the middle before he can finish the sentence and end up making me blush even more than I already do right now.
"Come on, let's do something fun." he grabs my hand and slightly pulls me to stand up from my seat.
"What?" I look up at him to meet his gray eyes and he smiles meaningfully. Oh, I don't think I will like what is about to happen and his idea of "having fun"

"Why are we here?" I ask him as we arrive in a pretty open building with lots of excess land. I don't even know where we are right now, because Edgar just dragged me to his car and drove both of us here for no apparent reason.
"Because you will learn how to use a gun"
"What?" I look at him with widen eyes. Gun? Are you kidding me? I swear I have never used a gun before in my whole life and now Edgar is trying to make me use a gun?
"Don't worry, the whole training and procedure will be done safely and I assure you no one will get hurt today as long as you just follow everything correctly.
"But Edgar..."
"Phoebe, trust me, this is a way to help you get used to my life, because soon enough, we will be together anyway."
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, you know what I mean" he smirks and holds my hand as the two of us enter the building. The building seems very stern looking in a sense, the walls are made out of some sort of steel, and the floor is carpeted in gray, it almost looks like a building from one of those action movies I watched several times.
We finally arrive at a room and when we enter it, there is a bulky and bald looking guy sitting behind a counter desk, and as soon as he sees us walking in, he approaches us and to my surprise, flashes a really warm smile.
"Nice to see you Sir Romanov, is there anything I can help you with?" This man talks to Edgar as if he has known him well, I wouldn't be surprised really, a lot of people working in thiskind of business should know him, at least in the slightest.
"Yes, actually.” He turns to look at me and back to the man.
"Dylan, this is Phoebe, Phoebe, this is Dylan, and he will help us get you learn a thing or two about guns, and practice on using them as well."
"Well, Dylan, I need you to assist this lady here, make sure she is under good care while learning these stuffs."
"Nice to meet you ma'am" he holds out his hand to shake my hand and I accept it.
"Well, we'll have you prepared first, so please follow me."
He leads the two of us to a giant room and there are a lot of different kinds of guns displayed on the wall, from small guns like hand guns to bigger guns that may require more advanced skill to be used , to the guns you simply Don't want to mess with because they look very intimidating.
This is the first time I have ever seen a massive collection of guns, I may feel slightly overwhelmed right now.
As I wander around, Edgar lightly pats my shoulder and hands me over some kind of headphone shaped ear plug with eye protector as well, and I take them in my hand and stare at them, clueless on why I have them here.
"Those are to protect your eardrums from the sound of the gun, the frequencies can be damaging at times, and you should protect your eyes as well, those things are very important when practicing, for safety purposes."
I nod my head and try to put them on, as soon as I put them on, Edgar sees something wrong with the way I put it on, which I wouldn't be surprised with considering I suck at safety, and begin to fix it for me, but as he fixes it, he is standing really close to me, like, really close, it makes my heart beats so quickly.
Just what is wrong with me?
He puts on his part as well and Dylan approaches us again with complete preparation like us as well.
"So, revolver or semi-automatic?"
"Semi-automatic suits her better, handgun, not shotgun."
"If that's what you say" the man called Dylan looks at the collection on the wall before he picks one of the handgun which seems pretty small, so maybe it will fit in my hand just fine.
"Glock 17, This one is very suitable for beginner, why don't you start with this?"
"I don't really know, so I'm fine with whatever you recommend." I reply back to him.
"Alright, let's go to the actual shooting room, as I would call it."
"He brings us to another room which is twice the size of the previous room, and I can see three real life sized "target" made out of some kind of sturdy material, unsure what it is, displayed on the center of the room.
"Welcome to the shooting room, the place where the fun begins."
He starts teaching me how to load the ammo into the gun, I have to do it several times before I am able to load it properly myself, and when it is loaded, he teaches me the correct way to hold the gun.
"Always use two hands when dealing with guns, see, those things about guns you see in movies are incorrect and dangerous, like holding the gun sideways, never ever do that." he gives me some advices about do's and don'ts as well and make sure I hold it properly before he lets me point the gun at the target.
"Okay, now deep breath, and, shoot." as he speaks, I pull the trigger and to my surprise, it hits one of the target.
It actually hits one of the target.
I am feeling really overwhelmed right now, I just use a gun, and I hit the target. Not going to lie, this feel kind of challenging in a good way, but I did it.
"Yes, good job, now do it again to the other targets."
I take a deep breath and repeat the step again, just this time, I aim for the other targets, and they are hit, I get them again.
I can't believe myself right now, never in my whole life I ever imagined experiencing this right now.
We spend around two more hours practicing, before I get tired and Edgar decides to bring me back.
"Thank you so much for your help, Dylan." I thank the man and he nods in return.
The two of us are back in the car and Edgar is driving us back to the mansion, I still feel overwhelmed by what just happened today, and I can feel Edgar smiling from his seat.
"So how do you like it?"
"It was fun, thank you for bringing me there."
"I knew you would like it, the pleasure is mine, beautiful."
I look at Edgar, the way he stares at me shows such a different man from the man I first met, this Edgar seems a bit nicer and less harsh somehow, maybe he changed, or maybe, I changed him, and if that is true, I guess there are many possibilities for us and I start thinking.
Maybe he isn't such a bad guy after all.
Maybe I can learn to love him.
