Chapter 180: Chapter 180
Yi Chen harbored no particular hatred for “Teacher Fang,” more of a psychological shadow.
Since Director Cao intervened and separated the two, Yi Chen had not seen Teacher Fang until he successfully escaped.
When he encountered the Plus version of Teacher Fang, represented by an eleven on the dice, the psychological discomfort of the past resurfaced and gradually intensified, but it was quickly suppressed by Yi Chen.
“If the head chef here still remembers me, Teacher Fang might find me familiar as well… This challenging art lesson might be troublesome.”
After observing Yi Chen for about ten seconds, Teacher Fang’s gaze slowly moved to the others.
“Today, I will instruct you all in Dance, from now until half an hour before you sleep, we will continuously dance here without stopping.”
“To ensure your dance poses are correct and to eliminate any laziness or lack of concentration, I have prepared a ‘Dance Partner’ for each of you. They will guide and monitor you at all times.”
As soon as the words were spoken,
A melody from “Swan Lake” resonated,
and as the piano keys, crafted from finger bones, played the corresponding tunes, the music seemed to transform into thin threads connecting to the bodies of every model on stage, guiding them to start dancing.
The initial movements were relatively slow and gentle, and everyone was able to keep up.
Halfway through, the melody suddenly shifted, and the overall rhythm sped up while also incorporating some discordant elements, causing the models’ dances to become uncontrollable,
including Lorrian, some without a dance background failed to adapt and fell behind in timing.
Their palms were immediately pierced by spikes growing from the model’s palms, undergoing assimilation; the skin of their palm areas turned completely plastic up to their wrists.
Lorrian watched his plasticized palms, his expression subtly shifting, knowing his current means could not reverse it.
“No wonder it’s second only to the highest difficulty in talent lessons. It’s a pity I haven’t learned dancing before, grinding an axe at the last minute indeed proves tough…”
At that moment, a ferocious human face emerged on Lorrian’s back,
the theater owner he used as a temporary other half started to take effect, activating the ability named “Performance” to its full extent, directly mimicking the models’ dance moves synchronously.
In contrast, Yi Chen at this end, completely adapted to the abrupt rhythm change.
He had received direct instruction in dancing from Teacher Fang before his death, not to mention the ballroom dance lessons he took during his time living in Zion.
Moreover, the orphanage he grew up in also favored such rhythm changes, where failing to concentrate enough meant falling behind.
As time progressed, Teacher Fang’s music grew increasingly bizarre, even straying from conventional movements, as strange, grotesque notes led the models into various abnormal movements,
like fold-over waist bends, bending and rotating of the wrist joints, and 720° aerial twists, among others.
About 1/2 of the students couldn’t keep up during this process, and ultimately, several parts of their bodies, including their heads, were penetrated, turning them into human mannequins.
Teacher Fang hammered them at the shoulders into iron rings,
clang clang! An iron chain lowered from above, hooking the fully modeled students and lifting them into the air.
Their heads were severed to serve as part of the lighting, while their bodies were stored in the model warehouse for future lessons.
An hour and a half passed,
Teacher Fang finally ceased his playing, whilst giving a round of applause.
“Very good, you have managed to keep up with my tune with the help of your dance partners. Next, you need to improvise based on my music and express your emotions through dance.
Pair up with each other, and in ten minutes, I will start playing the first piece of music.”
many girls naturally noticed Yi Chen, who wasn’t assimilated in the slightest and approached him hoping to become his dance partner.
Yi Chen, however, declined each one, navigating through the girls and heading toward the other end of the hall, where someone was also approaching him.
The two met exactly in the middle of the hall and, after exchanging greetings, prepared for a joint dance.
Yi Chen, through his dance moves, moved close to the ears of the silver-haired young man,
“Prepare to execute the plan…”
Hearing this, Lorrian’s eyes widened, “Oh? Are you planning to execute it on such a high difficulty occasion? I thought we’d wait until tomorrow.”
“Talent classes vary greatly, and it should only be if you roll an ’11’ that you get Teacher Fang’s class.
