Chapter 24: Chapter 24
Sometimes, there was an unknown moment would suck our brain when we have no idea about how we are going to solve the problem when the problem is full of a puzzle, even the great legend Aristotle can't figure out. And here I was trapped in this puzzle for three months and it sucks my whole life mercilessly.
I couldn't able to sleep or eat, because of Heil. He was in my mind even when I'm eating. His huge brown fur has been eating my peace every moment. I couldn't able to spend a good time with my man, Blake. But he is so socialized and understanding person.
"I know the case is important for you. I won't disturb you but you have to understand that I am with you, always." His kind words boost my strength every day.
As usual, I flipped the page one by one but the things which were written in the book were unable to digest by anyone but I have to accept everything in order to find Heil.
The book is clearly telling me that Heil is 100% human who has the ability to change his features as a brown monster. It has happened when Heil's dad and an unknown person crossed some random DNA to his unborn child when he was in his mother's womb.
They thought they can create a strong human being, the one who can't affect by any virus and would become a genius man on the earth, maybe invent lots of medicine for uncured diseases but their mission got failure and the damn case turned out to a huge monster.
I don't even know how to take the case. Should I pity him? But why? As per the records, he haunted almost the whole village.
The person whoever crossed the DNA to his own child must be a cruel man in this world. How come it's possible as someone prefers their professional life over their own family? His heart must be made up of stone, not just an ordinary stone, maybe a granite, marble.. etc... etc.
I swear if I found his dad there would be no second chance before I could kill him with my bare hands. He is the traitor and the worst human being, ever. He killed his wife, the poor woman who would be very eager to see her baby's face and spoiled another's life, his own child. Knowingly or unknowingly he was the reason for all the loss and death.
"Reil?" There I heard her voice once again.
"Yeah! Tell me." I slammed the book on the table and looked at her intensively.
"The book said Heil would match with a girl and will have a baby. How it is possible?" Emiem asked her 15th question in between one hour.
"Because Heil is a human and the girl must be don't aware of Heil and his monster side. And the baby... I'm not sure about it. It may kill the girl or both mother and baby because Heil's mom didn't survive after she gave birth to him." I heaved a heavy sigh once I finished my statement.
"I'm not sure about the girl and the baby things but the book said Heil will have a family which may deduct his monster's side but if the girl dies, he would lose his mind and do so many dangers to the place." It was written on the 10th page as the author predicted Heil's future.
Seriously, I wanted to throw the book in the dustbin but the book held the truth as the book was written not just by the author, but was written by someone who is very close to Heil, maybe his cruel father. Or any chance to be his mother? Nah! She would have tried to save his child if she had known the matter, earlier.
All the while her mouth opened like an 'O' shape scripture till I narrated everything to her as Heil's grey eyes, pale skin and it will glow once he matches with the girl. Yes! All the details were given in that book but the book was not seemed to written by Dr. Volts.
"Hope, I'm not disturbing you." A voice snatched both our attention which made me groan internally.
"Of course you are!" I roared but my voice hitched in my throat when I saw Blake who is standing with him, raising an eyebrow amusingly as he found the situation funny.
Well... it's not my first time to lose my mind. I'm doing this for the past month.
"I'm sorry," I muttered but didn't mean it. I won't calm down until my suspicion towards Rakesh proves wrong. I hate Heil and would hate Rakesh or any other human too if they were Heil. He killed a lot of peoples and he deserves the reward, death as his only crown.
"Ahh! Okay...I...I just wanna check you, two guys. " Rakesh raked his hair through his fingers while Blake looked at me like 'We need a good talk, later.'
"Reil. See you later." Emiem hugged Rakesh and dragged him out of my cabin. Now I and the amusing Blake were left alone in my cabin.
"So..." He asked me, taking every step slowly towards my direction as someone was shooting his movements and would post in Tik Tok.
"So..." I turned my back and pretended like I was busy with arranging stuff in my drawer where the things were placed already.
"I know you were hiding something from me." He drew his hand around my waist from the back and pulled me towards his chest.
"Hey.. It’s... it's nothing." I tried to sound normal but my voice betrayed me.
"Tell me. What's bothering you?" He turned me by my waist and made me face his pitch-black eyes. Thank God. His eyes were not grey. I'm so lucky for him.
"Blake.."
"Hmm..." He stroked my cheeks lovingly while admiring my black orbs.
"The book." I gulped down the saliva which was threatened to spill out.
"What about the book?" His finger touched the corner of my lips that made my legs go jelly. Thank God I was clutching the armchair as my life depends upon, otherwise, I would have kissed the floor.
"Heil is human." I blurted out in one breath and looked at him intensively to see his reaction but his hadn't changed a bit as I had told him one of the scenes from the movie which I had watched yesterday.
"Blake!! Heil is a human!! Did you read the book?!” I showed the book to him, but he simply shook his head as no.
What kinds of human man he is?
"I knew he is a human." He said casually as it is not a big matter.
"W- What?!" I stumbled backward, too stunned by his reply.
"Dr. Volts informed me earlier about Heil. At first, I didn't believe him but when I found his statement in his lab, I confirmed that he was true all the time." He let out a sigh of relief as the heavy burden was lifted down from his shoulders.
"I know.. I know. I should have told you before you could ask but I'm not sure how you are going take the matter. And I had been waiting for a week since when you brought the book from me. I was damn sure that you must be discovered the truth about Heil and expected to discuss the matter with me but you didn't do anything, rather hide the matter all the time." His voice revealed he was hurt but his expression said otherwise something... Agony.
"Okay...I admit my mistake. Now you know the issue. So tell me how to solve the problem without knowing my colleagues." I asked him even though he can't give the solution. But to my surprise, he used his smart brain and gave me a fantastic idea that no one can think quickly.
"You have the collection of the blood samples, right?" I nodded my head like an obedient girl.
"And you have a sample of Heil's saliva with you, hmm?" I nodded my head Once again.
"We may find Heil by verifying the DNA with the collective samples of our associates. And it's applicable to the members who were working in the building because right now we have only their samples. If it goes fail we can collect everyone's blood sample whoever is living around the village and can repeat the test."
"That's great." I kissed his cheeks and ran towards the lab to test the DNA, hoping will find Heil with the red hand but my hope disappeared after an hour when I finished the final samples of one of the co-workers and the result shown 'not matched.'
"Shitttt!" I cursed but was happy because Rakesh is not Heil, as well as my man. Yes! I tested his DNA too as he had insisted even though I know he is not. And now we are going to move to the next level.
