Chapter-6 Mr. Randy goes to the England

Albert has visited Che; to tell this news. There, Clear is around, a woman who admires him. Che who helps them to build their relationship with each other. But in reality, he does not like Clear but Che only; she has a good character which makes him admire her. At this time, he does not want to hurt anybody about his commencement. Though Che has a strict face while Clear is not; she will show her niceness to him and then, she has displayed her fake treatment to anyone.

Do you already know the news? Albert said.

Che replies, what kind of news is it? I don’t know that yet. And he replies, it is about Steven.

Che asks, what happens to Steven?

And he replies, he is already now on the sea. The siren has brought him to the sea. I was very angry at Lee. She is the one who forces Steven. I don’t know what will happen to him now.

And Clear replies, oh! Is it true? I don’t really think that Leah can do that because she has a good personality. And then, she is an innocent person. I am very sorry, I don’t really believe that.

Che replies, no! Do not base it on the personality only, but you may based on her real inner attitude. In that way, you can judge someone who he or she is! Do you understand my point? And she replies, I have understood your point. But what I want to emphasize is, she is already a kind person. How come that she does that? I noticed it based on what I had been seeing on her. You know, I am an observant person. I know how to judge somebody rather than giving an invalid judgement.

Albert replies, please stop arguing!

The best thing that we can do; to pray for him, even if he does not live on the land now. We must show our genuine love to him. It’s not to utter the words only but to show our actions. In life, word is powerful but action is the higher between the two. We are not perfect yet, when it comes to showing our love, but we must be real people who possess a lot of good virtues to everyone, not only to show our real character, but we must learn a lesson of what we have learned in the community.

And Che replies, that’s true! Therefore, even if I am not the most beautiful woman in the world. However, I have shown my real attitude of who I am. I don’t really care what the person has commented on me at least, I am a woman.

At this time, Clear got furious with Che; she does not agree with her. But she has agreed to Robert. She thinks that Menchie admired the appearance of Robert. Though she has shown her nice attitude to him, she cannot be convinced to believe her. In fact, Robert would listen to Che rather than her. At this moment, she realizes that the world is unfair. On the other hand, Albert has shown his real personality in the story, whereas Che has displayed her inner personality which Albert really admires. “Sometimes, we could judge the personality of what we have seen to other people who are staying around us. But, Albert and Che have the same perception in life.

After they have talked to each other, Albert tells them that he would go to the house of Steven; he wants to stay with him, he can help his father. And Clear wants to join him but he has refused because he wants to be alone.

In the morning, Albert has arrived to the house of Mr. Randy. He thinks that there is a person inside the house. He knocked on the door but he did not open it. He has called him. To that, he knows, he has a visitor. As Randy opens the gate, he is very happy to see Albert. And then, Albert is also happy to see him. Mr. Randy allows him to enter his house.

Randy asks, do you know how to cook? And he replies, yes I know it. That’s my talent, have you forgotten my talent?

And Mr. Randy replies, “it’s wonderful to hear. We would prepare food for our breakfast. Actually, I was planning to make that earlier. However, I was tired and I thought that my son had made it for me.”

He replies, “just go to your room, I would like to cook; you can take a nap. I will be calling you after I finish it.”

Mr. Randy answers, “no need, I am okay, I also want to talk to you. I would be bored staying there. You know, I don’t like to play games, and I hate to watch news on the television. You are my visitor, so I need to take food for you.”

And he replies, “no, do not treat them as your visitor. I am shy now. By the way, I had already planned to go to Singapore; I will find a job, you know I do not have a family now. So, I need to stand on my own feet. Also, I want to leave this town. Honestly, I am not fortunate here. I did not observe that but what I have experienced is bad.”

Mr. Randy tells him, “we will be taking that one later, let us finish preparing our food now.

They have finished preparing their food. Afterwards, they started to eat. At this time, Mr. Randy has remembered the shadow and presence of his son. He has cried in front of the food. And Robert tells him not to cry. We would just pray for him. We don't know the purpose of our heavenly father. Mr. Randy replies who is that father? I don’t believe him. If he is around, my sin would not be gone. He has retold his plan.”

And Mr. Randy replies to him, “yes maybe you will be successful in Singapore. Actually, I have admired you because you have planned your life.”

And Robert replies, “yes I always value my plan. I don’t want to waste my time. At this time, Mr. Randy tells him that he will go to England after 20 days; he is still waiting for the result with regard to the current problem.”

And he replies, “oh! It’s wonderful to hear that you will travel to England. You know, I did not go there yet, how I wish to stay there!”

And Mr. Randy replies, “soon I will bring you to that country. And he tells him that he wants him to stay at his house; he does not trust his relative to stay there.”

“Oh! Sure, but make sure you will be back soon. I still need to find my life. At this time, Lyca has called him that they would go to the cemetery; to visit their family. Therefore, he told to Mr. Randy; he would go home. Mr. Randy does not want him to go but he has promised him; to go back,” he said.

Before he has left him, he tells him that I will not look for another man who will stay in my house. I hope that you will stay here. No worries, I will give you; 300 dollars per month. And then, I will give you a business; he will make progress in your life. Actually, this is my plan to my son that he will do this one. However, he has gone. Mr. Randy wants to let him use his car but he does not.

While walking in the pathway, he has remembered the statement of Mr. Randy

“ I will go to England. He wants to stay in his house. I won’t trust my cousin and relatives, only you whom I do build my trust. “ To that, he has thought that Mr. Randy has liked his personality. On the other hand, Menchie and Clear have traveled to Singapore; to attend a special occasion. There, Clear has met Renel, a man who owns a big business in the country. Moreover, this man is a widow. He has two daughters and one son; Raquel and Joy; the ex- lover of Steven.

There, Renel really likes the beauty of Menchie; he has told her that he would marry her before she goes back to the Philippines, if she will accept him. And she tells him frankly that he already has his sweetheart. He does not want to find another man except if Albert will leave her. To her statement, he tells her that I will be waiting for you. I am still praying that you will go back to me soon.

She replies, “you must be a woman who is older than you.”

And he replies, “no! I want a woman who has a beautiful heart. And she must be willing to help and care for me.”

She tells him that, “it’s very difficult for you to find that kind of woman.”

At this time, Clear has arrived, and my cousin let us go back to our apartment. We need to take our rest. Aren't you tired? And she replies yes, I am very tired now. And Renel tells her that, I will take you to my house so that you can acquaint myself with my daughter. You know, I have a lot of food there. I assure you, you will be comfortable there. And Clear replies we would go there now.

And Che replies, “I am so sorry I don’t have the interest. First and foremost, I did not know your personality. We don't have any assurance that we will be safe there. Thank you for inviting us.”

To her statement, Renel has admired her; she is not looking for money. He has liked the way she utters her statement. He believes that she is a woman who has cleaned her heart. Moreover, he has concluded that in society, not all women are practical to their lives.

After three days, they will go back to the Philippines. As Renel knows it, he has met them; he wants to give a gift to them. There, Clear has accepted it but Menchie does not accept it. Renel has forced her to accept it. Hence, he has accepted it.

In the Philippines, Albert is lonely. Thus, he visits Che but she is not around. At this time, he has missed Clear and he regrets what he had uttered to her as well as the behavior that he has shown on her. On the other hand, Saturday evening, Mr. Randy traveled to England. He has trusted him. Therefore, he has let him stay inside his house. He has missed his son while he is riding in the aircraft.

In England, Randy meets Joy; a woman who has an attractive appearance and good attitude as well. Actually, Joy has worked as a receptionist in the hotel. This is the place where they have met. She has rented an apartment but the payment is expensive. Every time, he would visit her. To his presence, she trusted him. Mr. Randy has advised him to transfer to another apartment. She tells her that she will be comfortable staying in my apartment. No worries, I am your friend only.

In the morning, Joy visits the apartment of Mr. Randy. There, he has entertained her. She likes his apartment. Therefore, he decides to transfer here. At this time, he has prepared food for her while they are eating; he shares with her about his life.

“My son has gone, he left me. He is my only one. Unfortunately, I did not meet him. That’s why I have transferred here. I am hoping that you will stay with me as your father.”

Joy does not believe his statement. She is now 25 years old. She is an observant woman. And she asks him, why did your son leave you? And he replies, he had left 13 years ago.

He has been waiting for his son for 10 years. However, he did not come back to him. Thus, she becomes disappointed in his life.

Upon transferring to this apartment, everyday he does not have a good condition for her body. Since Randy is already 54 years old. Thus, he has treated her as his daughter. The time came that she got an illness. The family does not know yet, but his manager advises him to go back to Singapore. But she does not want to.

One morning, he receives information that Raquel dies due to heat kidney failure. In this situation, Renel wants her to go back to Singapore, but she tells him that she is busy with her work. She does not have time; to go home.

In the apartment, she has a fever and cough. Sometimes, she can’t breathe well. There, Mr. Randy, the one who takes care of her. With that, Joy feels love for Randy. As Mr. Randy observes it, he has courted her. Luckily, he has accepted him.

“ I would love you even if you are already old. Love does not matter the age but it matters the heart, Joy said.

In response, I would give a star no matter what path that we would take, Mr. Randy said.”

In the month of November, Randy has received a letter from Renel; he must marry his daughter. Renel is shocked because he expects that Joy and Steven are still lovers.

In the morning, Che and Clear arrived in the Philippines. As Robert knows, he has planned to Che. There, they entertained him.

Before he goes there, he has dreamt that Clear dies in Singapore. Thus, Che brings her to the county.

As she arrives, he hugs directly to Clear. She has never understood him about this matter. Robert brings them to the house of Steven, Mr. Randy's son. There, Che thinks that if Steven marries her then, he will not be gone. While they are talking . Randy calls Robert to travel to England. He does not explain his purpose but he has wanted him to come.

He wants to bring them, namely Che and Clear.

Before, they will travel to England. Che prepares herself as well as Clear. In short, they are very excited for the journey. Suddenly, Mrs. Rem dies, the mother of Che. She is so sad about his life. She does not want to talk to people. She wants to stay inside the room where no one could see her. Robert calls her but she does not get any response from him.

Albert calls to Clear; luckily, she has answered the call. She has asked him why he does not visit us. And he replies, Che does not reply to me yet; he wants to verify the reality. He does not believe what he has heard. At this time, she tells him that this is real. She doesn't like to talk to anyone

Albert tells Randy that he would not go there due to the emergency. However, Randy forces him; to travel to England. He explains to him that he would marry Joy. Thus, Albert got shock his news. At this time, she notifies Che and Clear. To that, Che encourages them to go there. Therefore, Albert and Clear have traveled to England

Upon arriving, they did not see directly to Randy. They think that Randy lies to them. They have rented one apartment for them. They have regretted why they left this country. Here, they have planned to apply for a job; to survive. After 3 days, Mr. Randy has called and asked for an apology; he does not meet them due to his emergency seminar.
