Chapter 12- Some sirens are dying

Mr. Randy feels bored of the house. He wants to go to the city; to meet his co-business partners. There, they have enjoyed their lives. As he arrives at the house, he feels bored again. To that, he has called Joy, his wife yet she does not answer his call. He is worrying about the situation of his wife. It is already one month. Suddenly, Joy did not go back to their apartment. He has decided to call Renel. And he has told him that maybe her daughter is his business; he has given a business for her daughter. And he replies, I don’t think so. I have informed this one to you so that you would know.

In the morning, he called his wife; fortunately, she answered the call. And she tells him that she is already with her father, she will be going home soon; she still needs to talk to her father.

Mr. Randy does not believe that Joy goes to her father's house. It has already been 5 months, she has not gone back. He thinks that she has stayed with her boyfriend. In short, he feels confused to her actions.

“ I am ready to let her go but she must talk to me first with her sign; she will not stay with me. It is up to me if she would not respect me at all.”

In the evening, he calls Renel,

“I would like to know if your daughter is there,” Mr. Randy said.

And he replies, “unfortunately she is not around. And Mr. Randy tells him, actually, I had called her last week. And she told me that she was already with you. She wanted to stay with you because she had missed you.”

And he replies, “honestly; she is not here, since you are her husband, you must take action to this problem. And Mr. Randy answers, yes I had started already but I did not find her. And I hope you will help me to find her.”

At this time, Mr. Randy has gone to the Police department. He asks for any help from them. Aside from that, he has also paid 10 persons to find her.

In the evening, he can remember this,

“Renel tells him that she is not around his house. And then whatever the occurrences, you must be responsible to face it.”

In the afternoon, Renel calls to Mr. Randy, “yes, Renel, and he asks him, how was it? Have you found her? And Mr. Randy replies, no, I did not find her but no worries even if I am busy but I had already reported to the Police department and then, I had already found 10 persons who would find her.

And Renel replies, “candidly, whatever happens to my daughter; you are responsible to take any action for it. Thus, Mr. Randy is very sad but he does not have a choice; he must find his wife.”

Everyday, Renel cannot concentrate on his work. He wants to see his daughter. In the house, he is still remembering his daughter. Hence, he cannot sleep in the evening.

After 3 weeks, Joy is back, her physical appearance has changed. To her arrival, Mr. Randy is extremely happy for her presence. And then, he asked her, why have you been? You are lying to me. You had promised me to go back after 3 days. However, you did not. And she replies, do not ask me about that, it's personal. Afterwards, she tells him that she wants to file an annulment because she is pregnant.

In this case, he tells her that he is ready to accept that baby. And she tells him that her baby is not yours, thus he is disappointed.

“So, who is the father of that baby? You know, I was not mistaken about what I had predicted and thought of you.”

And she replies, “no, you need for you to talk to me about that. I want to file an annulment; she will be free for him.”

“What! Annulment? I don’t like to hear that. To solve this problem, candidly, I would accept that baby even if she is not mine.”

“No thanks, I need my new husband to take responsibility for our kid. And she tells him that, thank you very much for being here for 8 years. Honestly, I did not expect that to happen. But it has happened already. I don’t have any choice; to face this problem.” To her statement, Mr. Randy has cried. He hugged her and Joy hugged him as well. Joy tells him that this is the last day that I would like you. Soon, “we will finally see each other in the court. What I want is your verbal and signed which implies that we will be separating from each other.”

With that, Randy talks to Renel about this problem. And he replies that he does not like his daughter to marry another guy. Renel has asked for an apology for what he has done to him. And Mr. Randy has accepted his apology.

Mr. Randy is a kind person, humble and friendly. He does not want to down the other people but to lift them. Her character is opposite to Renel. To his virtue there are a lot of people who have liked him in their community.

Joy goes back to Spain; to stay with Joseph. Upon arriving, Elma got a heart attack because Joseph, the oldest son, promised to buy a car, house and lot after he had graduated his two courses for her. But, she does not expect for ; Joseph to already have her future responsibility.

There, Joseph does not give more attention to her due to his problem. After 9 days , her mother was buried in the cemetery. But he is still not paying attention to Joy. She has decided to go back to Singapore, while Randy has processed the annulment in the legal office. There, she tells her father that Joseph does not take his responsibility to their kid.

At this time, she wants to tell Randy that she must cancel the annulment. But she feels shy; to tell of what she has felt. This would block her way where she must take it.

On the other hand, under the water, Leah is infatuated with Albert. She will stay beside Robert rather than Steven.

Steven observes it, therefore he feels jealous of him. He finds another siren; Robert may court her in the future. Moreover, he wants Leah to stay away from Robert. Sometimes, he cannot understand his feelings when Albert has approached her. Until now, he has not found any partner for him.

In the other situation, Clear was saved by the fisherman. As the fisherman has brought her to the small house; he has observed that she becomes amnesia. In relation to her, this woman whom the fisherman has considered is another passenger.

In the house, Philip, a man who takes care of her. He does not know her relatives and cousins. Therefore, he did not return her. Aside from that, he has also liked her.

Alfred goes to his father from Malaysia. There, he is shocked that Clear is there. Thus, he informs Menchie of her cousin's situation. Unfortunately, he does not believe Alfred because they have buried the body on her. And she tells him, I don’t want to recognize that woman, what I have believed ; my cousin passed away 5 months ago.

On the sea, out of 1000 sirens there are 20 who have still left on the sea. There, the king is very furious at their current situation. One night, he commands all the fishes not to stay where the fisherman has put their net. As the fishermen have got their nets. Unfortunately, they don’t have many fish. In that way, they cannot support their family financially. Therefore, they are very problematic this time. Particularly, to the some individuals who have despaired. They don’t have any source of income except fishing. In this situation, the leaders in the community have struggled where they would put the dead body.

On the other hand, Renel has emailed Joseph’s cousin, saying that if he would not marry her daughter he will file a case against him. To that , Joseph got nervous of what he had heard from his cousin. After two days, he travels to Singapore; to meet Joy. As he arrives at Renel's house. There, he tells Renel frankly ; he is not ready to marry her.
