General Bernard asked as soon as he regards his sanity, every time he stay closer to Alexia, he felt like he is burning and his body is no longer his, her scent capture his brain and throw him into confusion, still, he is not going to rush things, he is not going to make her feel uncomfortable around him, he is aware that, Alexia must be in love with someone but what he can't figure is who she is in love with.

That person that her heart beat for can't be Xander because he is married to someone and he is claiming he killed her cousin, so there is no way, Alexia will still long for such kind of a person that kill her cousin and have an affair with her best friend.

She grabbed one of the glasses of alcohol and drink it in one go, now Bernard know he is doomed, she grabbed anyone and gulped it.

As it is, she is already tipsy, if there is one thing, Bernard couldn't tolerate is a woman and their demanding attitude, especially when they are drunk, with the look of things, this young lady will have too much to drink and he is going to end up being the one at the receiving end, if Beck is the cause of the problem, he should as well take the heat, he decided to ask Beck to come to take care of his girl, he too is aware that Beck had feelings for her. Beck was with May, when his phone pinged, his eyes bulge seeing it was from Gen Bernard.

Gen. Bernard, he said Alexia is at the club down the road, and how the heck she gets through the camp gate?

Wait, you are leaving without a car? Beck grabbed the keys to her car, and she hurry behind him when he pulled the door, he open the other side for him, which means he wants her to come with him.

In no time, they are at the club, this was the first time, Beck visited such a place, and everything look strange to him. He is not the social type, the few events he had attended were nothing close to this wild party in front of him, individuals with their ground, some were sitting at a round table, gambling, drinking, and others were dancing to the loud song under the crimson light with their bodies aligned together while others were making out in public.

He felt disgusted and overwhelmed, May who was dancing close to him was the first person that saw Gen. Bernard, whose eyes is focused on Alexia's dancing figure, she wave to Bernard and pulled Beck's hand with her.

Bernard felt relieved with the arrival of Beck, he wasn't expecting May to be there with him, he too hurries to meet up with them, he needed to disappear from that place, the music and everything didn't change his mood, the fact that Alexia had Confessed that she is in love with Beck made him devasted and dejected.

Why did you bring her here? Bernard glared at him, the man is mad and bitter, angry that Alexia prefer Beck to him. If he had tiny love for Beck before now, now it's complete hatred, no love left for this man in front of him. He felt like a failure, always losing to Beck. For years he had tried to outshine Beck, even if it was just for once but no, to him, Beck was his worse competitor, and that will never allow him to outshine him.
