He had no intention of harming Leah that day. He was ready to let Alexia know the entire truth or probably beg Leah to forget all about the things she held and promise to turn a new being. Jessica was a time bomb waiting to explore, one wrong move from Jessica had to cause the life of someone, if that wasn't enough, he had to dispose of her body, to cover a sin he had not committed. He wanted to go back and get the body, to give her a proper burial, then found out, that she was no longer there and no one had seen her and her family is still looking for her. He wanted to turn himself up for the longest time, yet he was afraid of pulling Jessica down with him, even though, he knows he is not the actual culprit, Jessica was his major concern, and he doesn't want her to end up in jail, she can't take it. She can't live the rest of her life as a prisoner.
