"Hey there members of the SilverFall Clan." Gaja greeted with a wide grin on his face as he stared at the trio standing in front of him with a confused expression on his face.

"What is going on here?" Ryker shouted in confusion as he glanced around, stared at the woman behind him then at the Phantom Clan members in front of them.

"Isn’t it obvious?" Another member spoke up with a crude smirk on his face. "We are here to talk."

"Talk? Why would you need to talk to us? And where are the beasts that’s said to be te... wait! Was that a fake quest?" Kael shouted in realization.

"Ding, ding! He finally gets it." Another member said and then burst into laughter with the others following suit.

"But...but what would you want with us? Gaja." Zarin finally found the courage to ask as he stared at the men in front of them all.

"Like he said a moment ago, we just want to talk." Gaja replied then he tilted his head their way. "Now, I want honest answers, it’s clear that the two of you know nothing about me." He said as he pointed towards Kael and Ryker.

"But he knows about me." Then he pointed towards Zarin. "Which is why he should know what I’m capable of and hence, my questions must be answered to the latter. And I must get what I want, I always do."

"Okay? What is it? Look, we really don’t want to get into a spat with you people. We are all from respectable clans and we are all Reavers working together to keep this world safe from beasts that threatens us, which is why we would corporate." Ryker quickly said, no trace or sign of his earlier laziness as he stared at the men.

"Good boys." Gaja smirked and then walked towards one of the protruding rocks then he sat on it and looked at the trio. "I have a name and I need to know everything about him." Follow current ɴᴏᴠᴇʟs on Nove1Fire.net

"Huh?" Kael muttered with a raised brow. "What name?"

"Zen." Gaja replied and the trio’s eyes widened in both confusion and surprise by the unexpected name.

"Zen?" Zarin repeated again in confusion.

"Yes. I know he is from your clan hence I need to know everything about him now." Gaja replied.

"Why would you want to know anything about him? Judging from your tone and the way we were summoned here, you do not have any good intentions towards him. So why should we tell you anything about him?" Kael asked, his tone fierce as he glared at the Reavers.

"There’s something you all know, and I know that I’m not the only one who feel that way. Yes! I don’t have pure intentions towards him and that’s because he is a threat. A threat to us Reavers and our world." Gaja replied as he shot up from the protruding rock he sat on.

"Huh? A threat? How so?" Zarin asked with a raised brow.

"His Veil is a threat to us Reavers. The ability to cancel out all active Veils for a set time? He can render us awakened at the snap of his fingers." Gaja replied.

’How does he know? Only the clan knew about Zen’s Veil, he hasn’t had any alterations with the other clans so how does Gaja know? Something doesn’t add up here.’ Ryker thought with furrowed brows as his grip on his sword tightened.

"So, will you do what I want? Tell me everything about Zen and where I can find him." Gaja demanded.

"And I ask again," Kael said as he held his hand to his back grabbing his shield which he gripped tighter causing Gaja to raise an eyebrow. "Why should we tell you anything? Zen is apart of the SilverFall Clan.

I don’t know how the Phantom Clan do their own things, but in our clan, whether rich or poor, strong or weak, we are all families. So how do you want us to out a family out to you all? We would never do that!"

"Not at the risk of your lives?" Gaja asked as he lifted his hand and the whole flesh began to change, his hand now became as solid as metal then where his fingers were supposed to be, it became as sharp as a blade which he pointed towards the trio.

"Just like Kael said, we are all families in our clan, no way we would rattle another member to you all. Threat or not, Zen is part of our family. So you can all go ahead and screw yourselves because we aren’t saying shit!" Ryker replied with a deep glare as he stared at Gaja and the men.

"I’m not usually so kind but I want you to think again. I’m an A ranked Reaver, I have three men on my side and you all are just a group of three C and D rankers. Are you sure that is your final answer?" Gaja asked as his metallic arm glinted in the light at the trio.

Kael smashed his palm into his shield causing rocks to immediately form around it while wind immediately coiled around Ryker’s sword, howling with immense force, Zarin on the other hand, shakily held his sword as he stared at the men with trembling fingers.

The men from the Phantom Clan drew their own blades including the woman but surprisingly, no veil came out which means they weren’t awakened and only Gaja might actually pose a threat.

"Our answer is final, we aren’t letting you harm Zen at all!" Kael shouted in determination.

"Fine then, have it your way. Take them out." Gaja said as he pointed his hand forward and the three men all moved at once while the SilverFall members braced themselves for what was to come.
