Chapter 53: Chapter 53

Cassandra's POV

Anna delivered twins and named them Axel Nathaniel Henderson and Aurora Kate Henderson. We loved the names since they were a result of everyone's hard work. We had spent days thinking of their names! Stefan was the happiest man on earth. Anna was fine but completely exhausted while the babies were born healthy. Stefan brought them back to his house and we went to visit them. Max was over the moon seeing Arielle again as well as his little baby cousins.

"Mommy, will my sister be pink like Aulola?" he asked me. I smiled at his baby language.

"Yes, but what will you call her? Have you thought of a name?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"I'll ask Arielle," he said, running away to find her.

As the days went by, I started looking more and more pregnant. After a few months, Amelia too gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Weston George Henderson. Adrian and Azura announced their wedding and we all started getting busy with the preparations. It was to be held in New York on the sprawling lawns of Parkland Manor, their own hotel. It was the same hotel where Adrian and Azura worked and therefore it held a special place for them. It was convenient for all of us since it was very much within driving distance. A date was fixed after two months and we booked the entire hotel for four days. The event management team at the hotel along with Azura arranged for everything with mom's help.

My pregnancy was going fine and I had the energy to sit down with Max every day, teaching him different things. I read out to him every day and Julian bought him different puzzles and picture books to keep him engaged. Despite his busy schedule, he too sat with Max to teach him. They played football every day, it was like a ritual for them that Max looked forward to every day. During the weekends, we taught him to swim in our swimming pool.

My studies were going on well and I was happy with my progress. Julian didn't want me to take up a job yet, so I just relaxed. Although Gwen was there to cook for us, still I made something special for my family whenever I could. Julian praised me every time whenever I cooked for him.

Four days prior to Adrian and Azura's wedding, we all shifted to Parkland Manor. Everyone appreciated the effort that Azura and her team put in to decorate the place giving the whole garden area a romantic look and feel with abundant flowers decorating the venue, along with draped chiffon, candles, and fairy lights. The color theme was white, soft grey, and light blush.

The next few days went by like a dream. We again got to bond with each other. Everyone asked about my delivery date. Anna and Amelia's babies were the topic of conversation as well.

The wedding ceremony would take place on the sprawling lawns. A beautiful floral wall was created at the end, facing the aisle. It was completely green with ferns and the top of the wall was stuffed with white and light blush buds with grey tulle fabric bunched in between. It would serve as a backdrop when Adrian and Azura exchanged their vows and later serve as a beautiful backdrop for the wedding photoshoot. There was a small wall waterfall opposite the floral wall. Large vases fitted with floating candles set the romantic mood at the ceremony along the aisle. Everything was extravagant and we all congratulated Azura for her hard work.

"I'm the only bride in the world who worked hard to decorate her own wedding venue," she laughed.

"Yeah, you're special," said mom. We all agreed making Azura blush.

"I'm glad that you've found something that you love," said Claire.

"Thanks to mom for giving me a chance," said Azura.

"You deserve it, Azura," said mom lovingly. She looked so happy as all her children had found their life partners and had settled down in life.

"This is the last wedding for a while," said gran with a sigh.

"Gran, this is the last!" corrected Claire. Gran gave her a look of disbelief.

"No, I'll wait to see Arielle's wedding," said gran with a grin. We all groaned and Arielle just escaped the scene.

The reception would be hosted at the banquet hall of the hotel. Blush pink rose centerpieces were placed on tall gold stands to bring about a romantic feel to the reception party area. At the head table, a breathtaking backdrop was placed consisting of blush draping and three white wainscot panels decorated with orchids, hydrangeas, and roses. At the center of the room was a personalized dance floor monogrammed with Adrian's and Azura's names.

My bridal shower party was held on the second-floor terrace. We had a big blast. This time we included the whole family, even the men. So we all had fun, with dancing and singing and everyone giving Azura wonderful gifts. Dad also performed a song on his ukulele for Azura. All the boys danced along with Max. It was a unique performance. On the wedding day, I and Claire helped Azura with her hair and makeup. She had helped me a lot and I had to do something for her in return. Max was ready in his little tuxedo as the ring bearer. He shared a special bond with Azura since the day she had saved him. He considers her as his super aunt!
