Chapter 112: Chapter 112

Jason's POV

Before I could kiss her, she kissed me, plunging her hot tongue straight inside my mouth, dominating the kiss like a seductress. I was immediately hard for more but she released my mouth before I could take over from her. "Everyone is staring at us, Jason," she whispered, climbing down from my lap. I looked around to see a lone cleaner, working at the far end of the lawn and no one else around.

"I see! So let's carry this on inside. Shall we?" I asked but she shook her head vigorously.

"Can we please check the property out?" she pleaded and I smiled.

"Sure, provided I get what I want afterward," I conditioned. She grinned knowing what I wanted.

"Sure, please me and I will please you in return," she shrugged, the smile on her face widening further.

"Okay, lead let's get this over and done with. Let's please you," I said, grabbing her hand and pulling her with me towards the lake.

"How did you know that I wanted to go boating?" she asked wide-eyed and I laughed at her naivety. Didn't she know that one look into her expressive electric blue eyes told me what she wanted?

"I know everything about you, Claire. Your heart and your eyes communicate to me. They don't need words to tell me explicitly what you want," I told her, making her eyes widen.

"Am I such an open book?" she asked looking a little worried. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and shook my head.

"Not at all. You're a very brave, confident, and strong young woman but I understand you well since our hearts are connected," I explained to her.

"I'm so glad that our hearts could connect. I'm lucky to have you in life," she said, making me smile as a feeling of satisfaction and completeness touched my soul. I had been dying to hear these words from her mouth.

"I'm luckier, love," I whispered to her. I helped her to a paddle boat and climbed in after her. We paddled through the still translucent waters and Claire squealed with delight seeing the colorful fish swimming about. The pale rays of the sun did wonders to her skin making her glow with health. I was thankful that she healed so well. The last picture aunt Emily had sent me had made me break down. When my parents confirmed and gave me permission to wrap up the case anyhow, I realized the gravity of the situation. Now Claire seemed almost normal and I wanted her to have a good time and try to forget it all.

"Smile, love, let's take a selfie," I told her. We took beautiful pictures and then walked hand in hand towards the outdoor cafe selling mouthwatering delicacies.

With the love of your life with you, even the simplest of activities give you the happiness of your life. We ate together, Reuben sandwiches, Corn and black bean salad, cheesy baked eggs, and freshly squeezed mixed fruit juice but it seemed to be the best meal of the day. The fresh air, the breathtaking backdrop, the romantic atmosphere, the love and excitement in our hearts, but mostly, it was each other's company that made the meal special.

"Where will we go after this?" she asked me. I wanted to head straight to bed with her but then it wouldn't be fair to her. She wanted to experience this paradise with me.

"We can explore Simi Valley and then take a sunset helicopter tour on our way back here,' I suggested, loving the way her eyes sparkled with excitement.

"That sounds so exciting!" she gasped. We rented a car and drove over to Simi Valley to check out the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the Corriganville Movie Ranch, and more. It was afternoon and we were hungry from all the roaming around.

"Let's grab some pizza," I suggested, leading her to Chi-Chi's.

"Have you come here before?" she asked me and I nodded.

"That was five years ago. I came with friends from college," I told her.

"Girls?" she asked and I smiled seeing the jealousy in her eyes.

"No boys. I didn't know many girls as friends. Only Roxanne who was my best friend Ryan's twin. She's married now with two kids. I'll introduce her to you someday," I admitted.

"Why didn't you make friends with girls?" she asked.

"They all used to hit at me and I wasn't interested," I admitted.

"Why not? We weren't together or even friends, then," she said curiously. I didn't mind her question at all. It was normal to be curious since she didn't know the intensity of my love for her.

"It's true that we weren't but I still loved you. I couldn't think of anyone else. There was no place for another in my heart. I had only one target and that was to make myself capable of you," I admitted, smiling at the jaw-dropped look on her face.

"So, you had no girlfriends before me?" she asked and smiled at her.

"No," I replied making her grin happily at me.

"How about one-night stands?" she asked shyly while I shook my head.

"I've never done those. I'm a one-woman man and for me, you're the one," I explained. My answer seemed to please her a lot and she flashed a beautiful smile at me that took my breath away.

"So, when we made love, was it the first time for you?" she whispered, leaning in towards me as if it were a secret. I laughed at her curiosity.

"Yes, it was!" I admitted honestly. Claire looked very happy with my reply and enjoyed the meal more. We ordered Chicken Ravioli and mouthwatering Pepperoni pizza.

"I'm enjoying more today than I did when I came before," I admitted and she smiled warmly at me.

"I haven't come here before but I love it anyway, only because you're with me," she said.

We finished our food and after strolling in one of the parks for an hour, we headed towards the helipad for our sunset tour. A sleek and majestic red copter stood waiting for us.

For the next thirty minutes, we were awestruck by the beauty all around the place. Santa Susana Field Laboratory is located in the Simi Hills, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, and much more. The sunset was breathtaking and it was nearly dinner time when we returned to our resort.

"I can't believe that the day is already gone. I wish we could stay here alone for another day," said Claire.

"Yeah, even I was thinking the same," I admitted.

We headed straight to our room. While Claire headed for a shower, I ordered dinner. We were too tired to go to the restaurant and eat. The food arrived in minutes but I was more interested in Claire who sat down to eat looking fresh and dewy and more delicious than the food in front of us. She seemed to sense my gaze fixed upon her and turned to give me a quizzical look.

"What?" she asked, blushing a little.

"So, could I please you today?" I asked and she nodded.

"I hope you remember our deal!" I prodded and she smiled.

"Yes, I do," she said, making my body tingle with excitement.
