Chapter 68: Chapter 68

Annabelle's POV

Amelia and Cassandra were my bridesmaids, dressed in coral off-shoulder crepe lace gowns paired with a crepe back satin belt, all designed by Amelia. Claire was my maid of honor, she wore the same dress as Amelia and Cassandra but hers was a light peach. Arielle and Diana looked angelic in their ball gown with a heart cut-out back, in blush pink with a lovely lace bodice and full tulle skirt, paired with a blush pink tiara for their hair.

There was a knock on the door as Amelia arranged my veil, and dad came in and to me, smiling happily.

"You look lovely, my dear." He said, kissing my forehead, "Everyone's waiting, let's go," he said as he offered me his arm to take. He led me outside towards the outdoor area, where Stefan was waiting for me.

The rest of the bridal party got ready at the salon, while I was given the executive suite to get ready, instead, I opted for my room.

We all arrived at the beautiful sprawling garden area overlooking the golf course, with a gazebo built in the center of the garden. White tulle drapes and flowers in different shades of pink decorated the archways giving the whole area a romantic, classic vibe.

Rose petals were strewn across the never-ending aisle. I took a deep breath to steady my jumpy nerves. I could sense Stefan's intense stare from the other end of the aisle. He looked so dashing in a dark grey suit with a cotton dress shirt and black silk necktie, his hair neatly combed that I couldn't help gazing at him. He held my gaze from the altar where he stood waiting for me along with the marriage officiant and his best man Tristan.

I stood with my bridesmaids and ring bearer Donald and my flower girls, Arielle and Diana. They giggled watching Donald's antics.

Donald wore the same light grey tuxedo as the other groomsmen and he looked strikingly handsome at 10 years of age. Julian, Adrian, and Claire's husband Jason Crawford stood with them in their light grey suits. Julian discreetly stared at Cassandra while Adrian sighed and cast me a look. I smiled reassuringly that he would too get married one day, that he would too find his match. Maybe he had already found his match in Azura.

"How are you feeling?" Cassandra asked and Julian came forward to listen to their conversation.

"A little breathless and a little overwhelmed with a lot of emotions at the same time," I explained and she nodded. "Don't worry, soon it'll be your turn," I teased and she blushed.

The music started and Donald walked in followed by Arielle and Diana. Then Claire along with baby Alexander and then all the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. I walked in with dad and mom. I could feel Stefan watching me. As we reached the altar, Stefan came down a few steps from the altar and took my hand from dad's, squeezing it to make me relax. It helped me, his signature smell filling my senses and I relaxed enough to be able to go through the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony went off like a dream, with the ring ceremony and vows exchanged and suddenly we were proclaimed man and wife and Stefan was kissing me amidst loud clapping.

We escaped to get our photographs clicked. Afterward, Stefan led me to the reception party hosted at the resort's clubhouse. We entered to find everyone enjoying the cocktail hour. Mouthwatering gourmet food was spread out lavishly on a huge buffet table, with well-decorated seating arrangements everywhere. I looked after Arielle. She was sleepy, so Claire put her to bed in mom and dad's suite along with Alexander. Jenny looked after the children.

After I and Stefan had our first dance, mom and dad joined us, along with Tristan and Amelia, Julian, and Cassandra. We were dancing together, enjoying ourselves, when a pissed-off Adrian came to grab me for a dance.

"Bro enough, now it's my turn to dance with Anna. I need to talk to her," He said sulking as he took my hand for a dance with him.

"Addy, make it quick," Stefan threatened as he went towards Gran and Ellie.

"What's wrong, Addy?" I asked him about it.

"Anna, how do you know that you're in love? " He asked worriedly as we danced.

"You can't seem to stop thinking about her. You always want to be with her. You cannot seem to get enough of her. You feel heartbroken if you don't see her for a minute," I said with a smile.

"Oh, really? I feel all that for Azura," he said.

"Great, then what's the problem? Pursue her," I suggested.

"Maybe she doesn't feel the way I do," said Adrian with a pout.

"Don't tell me you've lost your charm?" I couldn't help but tease.

"Charm works on girls like Claudia. I don't want bitches. My brothers have found all the beautiful and good girls. I want Azura and no one else," he said as he sulked more.

"Don't worry, You cannot win her over in just a single month. These things take time. Have patience till then," I explained.

"You think it will happen?" He asked hopefully.

"I know it will. Now cheer up and enjoy wooing her," He grinned, spinning me, and then with a hug, he left. I went to Gran and Stefan. We enjoyed the food, and we cut our wedding cake. Dad spoke a few words to thank the guests and Tristan spoke as Stefan's best man. Claire also gave a short matron of honor speech. The party was still young and everyone was enjoying it but Stefan and I were done.

We soon retired to our room, showered together, and made love for the first time as a married couple until we fell asleep in each other's arms. Tomorrow he would whisk me away on a 10-day honeymoon trip to Hawaii and I was looking forward to it.
