“RISE AND SHINE Clarry!”

Claire exclaimed as she woke up that day.

“You know you will wake the dead.” Said a very familiar masculine voice.

Claire looked at the other side of the bed and she was surprised to see Blaire there, and what surprised her more was he is shirtless!

“W-What are you doing here?” She stammered. And she hated herself for that.

He chuckled sarcastically. “What kind of question is that? Of course this is our room, I’m still your husband Claire let me remind you.”

She got into her senses. And yes, what he said makes sense. She is the one who does not make sense at all. But for how many days now, since she arrived as his so-called wife, he is not even sleeping in that bed.

“I-I mean, you do not sleep here. I’m kinda used to it.” She said, trying to calm herself. She really does not understand what made her tense up, the fact that Blaire slept beside her or because he is shirtless and she could not take her eyes off his beautiful body!

“You really know nothing Claire.” He said and then looked at her intently. “Well, here is the flash news. Since the day you’ve been out of the hospital, I’ve been sleeping here.” He added which surprised her more.

Claire’s eyes widened, does that mean that he is coming to bed late and waking up early? That could only be the reason why he does not know right?

“I’m coming very late in the bed and I am waking up early, in case that you don’t know.” He answered the question in her mind.

He stretches his arms which gives her access to see clearly his broad chest and abs. Oh! Gracious heaven! How could this man seem so perfect!

“Do you love what you are seeing?” A playful smile formed in his lips.

She looked away upon realizing what he meant.

“I wonder what happened to the aggressive Claire?” He said all of a sudden. “You used to throw your naked body to me Claire, do you remember that?” He added.

Now she started feeling more uneasy.

“But don’t worry, the Claire that I am seeing now is far better from the old Claire. Just make sure that this is not one of your games.” He said.

She sighed. She looked at him when he heard him getting up from the bed.

But she wants to regret that, because she saw him wearing briefs only!

She immediately looked away and she was sure that she was blushing!

Then he just heard him chuckling and then heard the bathroom door closed.

“Oh! Gracious heaven!” She whispered to herself.

CLAIRE SAW Nana Amy and Zack in the veranda. She walked towards them.

“Good morning.” She greeted them.

“Mommy! Morning mommy.” Zack said and ran towards her.

“Good morning, C-Claire.” Nana Amy said.

She looked at her with surprise. The old lady was calling her now by her name. She smiled sweetly to her.

“How are you Nana?” She asked.

“I am feeling okay.” She said without looking at her. She continued removing the dead leaves on the plants.

Despite that, calling her by her name was already a big improvement for Claire.

“Mommy, thank you for saving Nana Amy.” Zack said innocently.

She looked at Nana Amy and the old lady was looking at her as well. It seems that she was a little bit shy.

“That’s nothing, honey. And remember, anyone who needs help, for as long as you can help, be kind to help them.” She said to Zack.

“C-Claire….” Nana Amy called her.

“Yes Nana?” She answered.

“T-Thank you for saving me.” The old lady smiled softly.

“No worries Nana, I am just glad that I was just right in time.” She said sincerely.

Nana Amy looked at her intently. “I am sorry for doubting you.” She looked down.

She walked closer to her. She held her hands.

“Nana, I am sorry about the past and thank you for taking care of us all, most especially Zack.”

Nana Amy looked at her again. It seems that she couldn't believe that she was hearing those words from her.

“Let’s just create happy memories now Nana.” She said beaming at her.

The old lady smiled at her softly and Claire was just happy that finally the old lady started feeling comfortable with her.

“Claire…” They all turned to the owner of that voice.

“I just want to say thank you for saving my wife.” Brother Romeo added. While walking towards them.

She smiled. “I am sure that everybody will do the same thing for Nana.”

“My mommy is a real hero!” Zack exclaimed.

And they all laughed. Claire was just so happy. Today she found another family aside from her grandma Celest and Gwen.

Oh! And speaking of Gwen, she needs to meet her today.

“Brother Romeo, can I use one of the cars today? I just need to meet my friend.” She asked

Brother Romeo looked at her puzzled.

“Of course Claire. You don’t have to ask permission. The black car is yours.” He said.

Oh! So that black car was owned by Blaire’s real wife. Now her only problem was the key. Where is the key to the car?

“Did you lose your key?” Brother Romeo asked.

“Oh! Claire, I forgot to tell you, here is your key.” Nana Amy handed her a key. “I saw it while cleaning, you must have forgotten it.”

She took the key from Nana Amy. “Thank you Nana. And can you please take care of Zack for me?”

“Of course Claire.” Nana Amy replied

“Take care mommy.” Zack said.

“Yes honey, I’ll just be real quick!” She said and kissed him on the cheek.

“Thanks Nana Amy and Brother Romeo.” She said, turning to the couple.

“Take care.” The couple said at the same time.

She smiled and nodded and walked towards the garage.
