Chapter 98: Chapter 98

I was dressed in a red top with spaghetti straps and black jeans. He was dressed in blue jeans and a short sleeved black shirt that showed off his tattoos and muscular arms and abs. He looked so good that I wanted to go back upstairs to mate again, but I knew that we needed to actually live instead of mating all the time. At this rate, I would get pregnant with his pups and I would love that, but we weren't married yet.

So in the modern society of werewolves which is now mixed with the human society, we will be giving birth to an illegitimate child which would tarnish his life. I wasn't pregnant yet because werewolves take a long time before they get pregnant and a lot of tries, so I was positive that I wouldn't be yet until we got married since he told his business partner that he would be making me his wife soon.

"Hey, love birds! Finally had enough of each other?" Lisa's teasing voice came from the armchair that she was sitting on or should I say that Connor was sitting on and she was sitting on his lap. Their baby, Hailey, was nowhere in sight, so I thought that she might be sleeping in their room. Most of the pack members were there in the living room including our close friends and Vanessa who was chatting away with Selena and Katie.

My lips stretched into a large smile at her words and Sebastian let out a throaty chuckle in his velvety deep voice as I replied to her in a teasing voice too, "For the time being, are you jealous?"

Lisa laughed, shaking her head as she replied, "No way, I have my mate right here, so we can be all over each other too."

Connor grinned as he tightened his arms around her waist and added, "Yes, we can be. We just know how to be quiet, but you two decide to mate even in the morning. Now, everyone knows that you mate here too."

Jared let out a small chuckle and patted his brother on the shoulder, "Get off their case, Connor and Lisa. No one cares if they mate here. After all, it's Sebastian's pack house and they're Alpha. Some of us are even happy to know that they are trying to make pups for the pack."

"I know, man, we were just teasing them." Connor replied to him and Lisa nodded in agreement.

Sebastian's lips tugged up into a smile as he wrapped an arm around my waist, "And we know that too, we're not offended. I'm actually proud that everyone knows how well I take care of my mate and that she becomes loud when we mate."

My cheeks flushed in a blush at his words and I slapped his shoulder as I squealed, "Sebastian!"

He chuckled again in his velvety deep voice that sent delightful shivers through my body. "Okay, cupcake. I won't talk about it more, let's get going."

"Where are you going?" Vanessa's voice pulled out attention to her as she and the other two girls stopped talking to hear our answers.

"To practice shooting. As Luna of a pack that's also a Mafia gang, I have to learn how to shoot a gun and use it." I explained to her as my lips stretched into a large smile and my blush subsided.

Vanessa's eyes widened and she grinned as she jumped up from her seat, exclaiming, "Wow! That sounds super cool! Can I learn too, please?"

I didn't want her in harm's way and our parents wouldn't want that either, but then as a member of this pack, she would need to learn to protect herself. At least she was eighteen, so I sighed as I answered her, "Fine, you can learn, V, but don't tell Mom and Dad about it."

She squealed and bounced on the balls of her feet as she clapped excitedly, "Wow! That's so cool of you, Kat. Thanks so much!"

My smile widened, feeling glad that she saw me that way and that she was happy. Sebastian glanced at me, his lips twitching up into a small smile before he looked at Vanessa, "Alright, come with us. Oscar can teach you how to shoot."

"Thank you!" She squealed again with a large smile on her lips.

Sebastian glanced at Oscar who was sitting with Tucker, Ross, Ashton and Aaron as they talked in low whispers. "Oscar, come on. You're going to be teaching Vanessa how to shoot a gun."

Oscar's head snapped up as soon as he heard Sebastian call out his name and he stood up as his other friends looked over at us. He started towards us as he answered, "Yes, Alpha."

As he walked towards us, his gaze fell on my sister and their gaze locked. Something passed between them and Vanessa quickly ducked her head shyly while a smile graced his lips. I looked at Sebastian and noticed that he also saw their gaze. I leaned closer to him as we started towards the hallway that led to the basement where we practiced shooting. "Hey, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Sebastian nodded as his lips tugged up into a smile and leaned his face closer, looking amused as he answered me, "You're thinking that Vanessa and Oscar might be mates?"

"Yes, it looks like it."

"Then we're going to find out soon since they would have to touch when he goes to teach her shooting." Sebastian said, wisely as we reached the basement's door.

He pulled the door open and glanced at me as he gestured towards the stairs going down as he said, "After you, cupcake."

"Sure, sweetie." I answered him and walked past him to go down the stairs.

The basement looked dark and I wondered who turned off the lights as I tried to see even with my heightened werewolf sight. Soon, I felt Sebastian's presence behind me as he walked close to me. His breath was hitting the back of my neck with each step we took down, making delightful shivers run through my body. His fingers would skim my waist every once in a while in the dark, making my tummy tighten with desire. My breathing was labored as I asked him in a whisper, "Why is the basement so dark?"

Next thing I knew, his lips were brushing my earlobe as his breath hit my ear, making me almost moan out of pleasure, but I bit it back. His reply came in a breathy, husky and s*xy tone of voice, "No one has come into practice yet. That's why. Whoever comes down first switches on the lights and Beta Adam always switches them off before he retires to bed."

"Ah, I see."

"What are you two whispering about?" Vanessa's voice came from behind us and I smiled, knowing that we were having some form of teasing in our teasing game.

"Nothing important, V." I answered her as I saw that we had reached the end of the steps.

Sebastian moved back from me and walked to the side, probably to look for a switch as Vanessa asked, "Why is it so dark in here anyway?"

"We're the first to practice today, that's why." I answered her just as lights flooded the room, illuminating the guns arranged on racks and the dummies on the other side of the room for shooting practice.

"Whoa! This is the coolest pack ever!" Vanessa exclaimed as she ran over to the guns and picked up an AK .47. "I had no idea that Sebastian's pack was so cool like this, I would have pestered you to join since the first day you brought him home."

Sebastian chuckled at her excitement while Oscar looked amused at her words as he stepped closer to her. I laughed too as I shook my head, walking towards the gun rack. I picked up two glocks from the rack as I felt Sebastian's warmth behind me, making my lips stretch into a smile. He pressed his toned, muscukar chest against my back as he wound his hand around me to take one glock from my hand.

His lips skimmed my earlobe as he murmured into my ear, "You should master getting your targets with one gun before you move on to two."

Butterflies fluttered in my tummy at his touch and I answered him in a breathless voice, "Uh, yeah, let's go with that."

Vanessa's gasp pulled our attention away from each other and to her to see that she and Oscar were staring at their touching hands. It seemed that he went to take the gun from her hand and touch her skin instead, so the tattoo of their names appeared on each other's wrists. This means that Sebastian and I were right. My lips stretched into a smile as I exclaimed, excitedly, "You're mates! I knew it!"

Oscar grinned while Vanessa blushed and grinned too, "Yes, we are mates. I've met my mate so early…"

Oscar looked concerned as he asked her, "I hope you're not trying to reject me."

"Not at all, I accept you, Oscar." She said to him, shyly, looking up through her eyelashes.

Sebastian looked at them as he said, "Congratulations, you two!"

The two turned to him and answered together, "Thank you, Alpha!"

He turned back to me and took my free hand as he pulled me towards the practice area, "Come on, cupcake. Let's give these two some privacy and practice these shots."

"Okay." I answered him as I let him lead me towards the practice area.

As we reached it, Sebastian let go of my hand and glanced at me with his lips tugging up into a smile, "Shoot, I want to see how well you're doing so far. After that, I'll correct you and see how you're doing again, okay?"

I nodded, my lips stretching into a wide smile as I answered him, excitedly, "Okay!"

Sebastian chuckled at my excitement in his velvety deep voice and he stared at me with those alluring dark eyes, making my breath hitch at their intensity. I forced myself to breathe in and out before turning to the dummies.
