Amber and the humans couldn't understand what happened, they would only think that Sophie and Adam's tattoos have always been there.

Beta Adam wrapped his arms around her in joy, "God, I've finally found you, Sophie!"

"I'm so happy to find you too, Adam!" She replied to him and pulled back.

"Sophie, I'm so happy for you! But what were you even doing here in the first place?" I asked her with a curious look on my face.

She turned to me as she replied, "Oh, I came to check up on you since I haven't seen you for a while now. You seem to forget me after meeting Sebastian."

She moved her gaze to him and I glanced at him too along with everyone at the table. His lips twitched up into a smile and he tightened his arm around my waist. My heart raced at his possessiveness and I loved it. He glanced at me, bringing everyone's gaze back to me, waiting for my answer.

So I looked back at Sophie as I answered her, "Sorry, Sophie. I really didn't mean to make you feel that way, I have just been so busy, but I promise that we'll have a girl's time. You, me, Tess and my other female friends from the pack, how does that sound?"

She grinned, looking excited, "That sounds great! Besides, I have Adam now, so I'll also be a bit busy."

Beta Adam grinned and took her hand in his, "Yes, you will be very busy with me. Come eat lunch with me."

She turned to him as she replied, "Okay, but I don't need to eat since I already ate."

He led her to our bench and they sat down beside Sebastian and I then started talking in hushed tones. Sebastian's voice took my gaze back to him as he murmured, "I want to make you very busy too, cupcake."

I felt my heart race and my lips stretch into a smile at his flirting, "Oh? And how will you do that?"

His face leaned down and moved closer to mine as his alluring dark eyes captured my hazel ones, his lips twitching up into a smile. His deep voice was husky and s*xy as he murmured, "I'll start by kissing you then taking off your clothes and making love to you until I make you pregnant with my pups."

My tummy tightened with desire and my breathing labored as his gorgeous dark gaze stared intensely into mine. I could see the desire and want mixed with love in his eyes, and I was sure that mine reflected his, "I would love for you to make me busy then, sweetie."

I could feel the s*xual tension between us heightening as his face moved closer to mine and I was anticipating his lips on mine. But he glanced over at my plate of food before looking back at me with a teasing smile on his lips and a mischievous look in his eyes, "We should eat before lunch break is over, cupcake."

I felt kind of disappointed that he hasn't kissed me again, but also felt aroused by his teasing and I knew that he was going to kiss me senseless as soon as we were alone again. So my lips stretched into a smile as I replied to him, "Yeah, we should."

I turned to my meal and stabbed a few fries, bringing them to my mouth. As I pulled the fries into my mouth and pulled the fork back in my plate, I felt his hot gaze on me as he stared at me. I turned my head to him and our eyes clashed. His lips tugged up higher in a smile, looking amused, yet desire was still on his features before he turned his gaze to his meal. He gripped his fork and stabbed a few fries too before moving them to his s*xy mouth.

I felt my body heat up as I watched his s*xy lips, so I turned to look between Tess and Sophie, "Sorry, I haven't introduced you yet. Tess, this is Sophie, my best friend since college and Sophie, this is Tess, my friend and coworker with her boyfriend, Will."

"Hi, Tess and Will, nice to meet you two!" Sophie greeted the with a wave of her hand and a large smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you too, Sophie! I have heard so much about you from Kat." Tess replied to her as she grinned at her.

Sophie's brows raised up in surprise at her words as she glanced at me before looking back at her. Will gave her a friendly smile too, "Great to meet you too, guess we'll be seeing more of you now since you and Adam are together, and we'll be going to the pack house together."

She nodded, "Yep, definitely more of me and I hope only good things, Tess."

She said the last part, looking over at Tess who smiled wider in response, "Yeah, all good things, but not all good for Sierra since she betrayed you two and stole Kat's ex."

Amber looked up from her food now, looking interested in the conversation, but I didn't want her to spread rumors or anything like that so I changed the topic. "Yeah, and I'm actually glad that she did that because I met my mate, Sebastian."

I glanced over at him with a smile stretching over my lips and I found him already staring at me. His alluring dark eyes staring into my hazel ones and his lips tugged up into a smile too, "I'm glad about that too because if she hadn't sent that text to you and gotten you to my club, we wouldn't have met."

"Yeah, and it was all like destiny." I added as I stared back into his eyes.

"Aww! You two are so in love!" Sophie gushed, bringing our attention to her.

Sebastian chuckled and I giggled as we continued eating while talking here and there with our friends. That was how we spent the lunch break and after it was over, we went to each of our offices, but not before Sebastian gave me another kiss in the elevator.

It was soon closing time and Sebastian and I had decided to move my stuff that day after work. So we have just arrived at my apartment building and were climbing out of the new model mustang. Sebastian walked around the car and to me as I stood in front of the building. He took my hand in his and I interlaced our fingers as his lips twitched up into a smile. I smiled back at him and tugged at his hand to pull him inside, "It's best to move in with you because this way, Cameron wouldn't find a way to attack me again."

He nodded as we made our way towards the elevator, "Yeah and I don't think that he will dare try that again, not after warning him like that and unless he wants to die."

I raised my brows in surprise at his words as I pressed the button for the elevator, "It's Cameron, he's going to keep trying until he gets what he wants."

We entered the elevator and I pressed my floor button as Sebastian pressed his lips together in a thin line as his brows furrowed in thought. His alluring dark eyes captured mine as he said in a firm voice, "Well, I never give up either and I always get what I want. If he keeps trying to get you then I would have to kill him to protect you."

I felt my heart race in both fear and excitement. He looked so intimidating at that moment and sounded so serious. Would he really go as far as killing to protect me and our relationship? It sounded like it, but I wasn't sure if I should stop him or encourage it. So I said, "If it is self defense then I guess it's fine."

He glanced over at me and the elevator dinged open at that moment. We both turned to face the opened elevator doors and walked out into the hallway. His smile turned amused, but he didn't say anything else which made me curious as to what he thought about my reply. As I parted my lips to talk to him about it, I heard a man's voice call out, "Kat, you're finally back! Did you travel somewhere or something? I haven't seen you here for a while."

I turned together with Sebastian to see Henry walking towards us with a curious look on his face as he looked between Sebastian and I. A frown fell on Sebastian's brows as he looked at him and it was probably because he had heard him suggest that I sleep with him after he caught us kissing in the elevator. I didn't like him either after that day. I gave Henry a tight smile and replied, "Yeah, I'm actually moving out today."

Shock showed on his face and he blinked as he repeated loudly, "Today?!"

"Yeah, I'm moving in with my boyfriend." I answered him and tugged at Sebastian's hand to pull him towards my apartment door as we walked past Henry.

"He must believe that he can get a chance to sleep with you and that's why he keeps trying to get close to you." Sebastian muttered as we stopped in front of my door with that frown still on his brows and his lips drawn in a thin line.

I glanced at him with a confused frown on my brows as I took the keys out of my blue purse that was hanging over my shoulders and placed it in the keyhole, "How are you sure?"

He looked over at me as a confident smile touched his lips, "I just know, especially from the look he keeps giving you, and I am trying hard to restrain my wolf and myself from gauging his eyes out for looking at you like that."

Butterflies fluttered in my tummy and my heart warmed as a smile touched my lips at his possessiveness. I loved how possessive he was over me, he looked so much hotter like that. I tugged at his hand and pulled him inside as I replied, "You're so hot when you're possessive, Sebastian."

He parted his lips to reply, but he stopped when we saw the shocking sight in front of us.
