"You'll never be annoying to me, Kat. You're my mate and such a good person." Sebastian replied to me as he continued eating his toast too.

"So are you."

He nodded as his alluring reddish dark eyes moved to my hazel ones, "By the way, how is your skin so soft and how do you smell so good?"

I grinned at him as I replied, "Sophie sent me some essential oils that are good for all that, but there's this perfume that I usually use. It's Italian made and I just love the scent."

His smile widened into a grin too, "I love it too."

"So what do you want to watch while we eat?" I asked him as I picked up the remote from the center table and switched on the TV.

"Anything you want to watch, cupcake." His reply came as he nibbled on a piece of omelette from his fork.

"Okay, why don't we try A Cinderella Story, the one with Hillary Duff." I said as I searched the movie name on netflix and scrolled through the list of movies to find it.

I put on the movie as Sebastian replied to me with an odd look on his face, "I have no idea who that person is or the movie, but from the title, I can guess that it's about Cinderella."

"Yeah, it is and you would love it." I wasn't surprised that he didn't know it since he was an Alpha that was a busy billionaire CEO and Mafia Boss. He wouldn't have time to watch silly human movies, besides, he was more traditional than most modern werewolves.

Sebastian smiled at me as he stood up from the couch with his empty plate in hand, he took my empty plate from my hand as he said, "I'll be right back."

"I'm coming too, I need to wash my hands anyway." I said, standing up too.

He shrugged and we walked towards the kitchen, but he carried both of our plates. As soon as we were back in the living, Sebastian and I cuddled on the couch. His hand moved to my dark hair as he ran his hand through it. His entrancing deep voice was a murmur as he said, "My wolf wants to come to the surface and wants to cuddle with your wolf."

I glanced at him and our eyes clashed. His alluring reddish dark eyes staring deeply into my hazel ones and I nodded, "Okay."

He looked pleased at my answer and moved back a bit. In a second, he has shifted into his wolf form. His red fur shimmering under the chandelier and his red eyes gleamed with want and love. I smiled at seeing his large handsome wolf and stood up to shift too. I shook my hazel fur and he stepped towards me in wolf form. He slipped out his long wolf tongue to lick my snout then moved his wolf face closer to nip at my ear as a growl left his wolf's lips.

I purred in return and rubbed my wolf head into his in affection. Sebastian stepped back and walked towards the TV. He laid down and glanced over at me. I knew that he wanted me to lay down on the rug with him and cuddle to watch the movie since the couch wasn't large enough to take our wolves, especially his. So I yipped in excitement and ran to him to lay down beside him. He rubbed his snout against mine and leaned his head against mine, making me grin as we continued watching the movie.

The next day, I walked into our open office after parting ways with Sebastian in the elevator. The human girl from the grocery store that tried to frame me on the day that Cameron tried to mark me kept staring at me with distaste. It was obvious that she was jealous and she wanted to glare at me, but couldn't, knowing that she would get in trouble at the office. I ignored her and made my way to my cubicle. I was early today like every day besides my first day which was due to the bad night that I had. So manager Heather was nowhere in sight.

Tess turned to me in her chair as she heard me approach her. Her lips split into a grin as she teased, "You've finally mated, haven't you? You look so different already with that s*x glow. You can't even stop smiling from how good it was."

A blush rose on my cheeks at her compliment as I sat down at my cubicle. I faced her as I nodded, shyly, "Yes, we did mate, several times in fact and it was amazing."

"Whoa! I knew it had to be amazing. I mean, have you seen your mate? If I wasn't already head over heels for Will, I would be drooling over him and of course, I mean that as a compliment to you." She said with a teasing smile and even though she had a mate, I still felt a bit jealous. But then, she was right, my mate was super duper hot. I have never seen a guy as hot or as s*xy as he was.

My lips stretched into a large smile as I thought about my gorgeous and caring mate, "Yes, he is one hot piece of man. I can't believe how lucky I am to get Sebastian Wolfe as my mate."

"Super lucky, that's what you are, Kat."

"Hey, what's that girl's name?" I asked her, pointing at the human girl still staring at me with distaste from her cubicle across the room.

Tess followed my finger and saw her. Her brows raised in question as she turned back to me, "That's Kayla, she has been trying to get Sebastian's attention for a while now, but he doesn't even know she exists."

"Wow, how obsessive of her."

"I know and it seems that it's why she's staring at you with such hate." Tess commented as she nodded her head.

"Yeah, definitely. I just found out that she lives near my apartment and she tried to frame me for stealing from her at the grocery store." I narrated as I took another glance at Kayla before looking back at Tess with a sigh.

She looked shocked as she replied, "That's so mean and crazy of her. I'm not friends with her, so I have never seen her interact with people much. I have never expected her to do that though, Sebastian never even looks her way, so why does she even feel threatened?"

Shaking my head at the human girl's silliness, I replied, "Yeah, I should be the one feeling threatened as his mate and if she tries anything like that on me, my wolf and I will tear her to pieces."

"Ah, yes. I would love to watch it happen because she's so arrogant and saying that she's going to be Mr. Wolfe's wife. I bet that his announcement about you being his girlfriend killed her and her ego."

"Whoa! I had no idea that she was saying all that and I wish I had noticed her reaction when he announced it." I said, feeling annoyed at Kayla and my wolf growled in my head at the thought of her claiming that our mate was hers.

Tess nodded, "Yeah, that was all before you arrived and he did the announcement on your first day. After that, she was too ashamed to say another word about it while many laughed about how she was exposed to the lies that she was saying."

"She really is obsessed with him and talking about obsession, Sierra, my ex best friend showed up at his pent house yesterday's morning." I told her as I moved my attention to my computer while switching it on.

"What? What's wrong with her? She stole Cameron and now, she wants to steal Sebastian?"

"Exactly what she's trying to do, but she didn't know that I would be there and when she saw me, she pretended that she was with him the other day when he was clearly with me. The nerve of her! The only reason that he hasn't fired her yet is because I told him not to." I ranted, letting out a sigh at the end as I pulled up the article that I was working on.

"She's even crazier than Kayla. I can't believe that she would actually show up to his apartment like that. That was probably how she got to Cameron." Tess tsked as she turned back to her computer, typing on the keyboard.

"That's what I thought too." I commented just as an email came through to my computer with a bing.

I quickly checked it to see an email from manager Heather. It says,

Kat Mason,

You have been given a new assignment on your celebrity news writing and it is to attend the MET Gala where all the elite celebrities will be at. You are expected to interview the ones that you believe our company clients will have more interest in. Recording it would guarantee you a bonus on this assignment. You can take one or two people to go with you, but one has to be a fellow writer like you, so that you will both be paid for it.

"Oh my God! I just got the coolest assignment ever!" I exclaimed in excitement as I turned to Tess.

She turned to me with a small laugh at seeing my excited expression, "What kind is that? Probably one about a cool celeb, right?"

I shook my head as my grin widened, "Nope, I'm going to the MET Gala where only high elite celebs are invited! Even Khloe Kardashian isn't invited to that event and we get to go!"

She shook her head as a pitiful look showed on her face, "Kat, you're not going inside as a news reporter. You would have to interview them on the red carpet and what do you mean by we?"

I couldn't believe that we wouldn't get to enter the event even as news reporters.
