Chapter 47: Chapter 47

The next morning, I woke up to find Sebastian was still here, but already dressed in a suit as he sat on the edge of the bed going through his iphone. My lips stretched into a grin at seeing him and I sat up on the bed, "You're still here."

He turned around and a smile touched his lips at seeing me, "Yeah, I brought my suit and toiletries in my car so that I can drive you to work."

"So you're already showered and dressed while I just woke up. I might make you late…" I trailed off, feeling a bit bad for making him late and a bit down that I wouldn't get a free ride.

His smile turned to a comforting one as he reassured me, "It's fine, cupcake. You won't make the boss late. Besides, I can't let my mate continue riding cabs around. You know what? After we get you more stuff today, I'll take you to my house and you can pick which one you want among the ten tbat I have since three among them are brand new and I've never used them before."

My mouth fell open and my eyes widened as shock and joy washed over me, I was happy at his offer, but I knew that I couldn't accept it, "That's too generous of you, Sebastian and I really appreciate your generosity, but I can't accept a car from you. Accepting clothes and other stuff from you is enough, so no, I can't accept a car even though I dislike taking the cab."

Sebastian chuckled in his husky, deep, yet smooth voice as he shook his head, looking amused and impressed by my answer, "It doesn't matter, I want to be generous to you and I want you to have your own car. So please accept my gift or I'll be very hurt."

My grin widened and I felt amazed at the kind of werewolf and Alpha he was, "Okay, Sebastian."

He looked pleased as he nodded, "Great, now, get ready so that we can get going to the office."

"Okay." I replied to him and stood up.

I made my way to my drawers to pick out my clothes for the day. I pulled out my first drawer and pulled out my underwear for the day. As I was closing it, I felt a hot gaze on me. Glancing back, my eyes clashed with Sebastian's dark eyes as he stared at me and a blush rose on my cheeks at the intensity of his stare. Seeing that his lips twitched up into a smile and he moved his gaze down my body.

It lingered on my bare thighs and I remembered that I was wearing only a white shirt apart from my underwear underneath it. I felt actually a sense of joy at being love and wanted like this. No guy has shown his want for me like Sebastian showed that he wants me and it made me feel excited, loved and wanted. I turned back around and pulled out my third drawer to pull out dark jeans, a white button down and a black jacket, so that I would look partly professional, but not too professional like Tess said.

"I love your legs, they're so s*xy." Sebastian's reply came from behind me and I felt my cheeks heat up in a blush as I turned around with the clothes in my hands.

Sebastian moved his gaze back up to my face with that smile still on his s*xy lips, "Thanks for the compliment."

I was about to rush to tge bathroom, but he made me pause when he asked with an amused expression, "You don't need to thank me, cupcake. Besides, don't you love some part of my body the most?"

I nodded my head, shyly, "Yes, I- I love your abs…"

I trailed off shyly as I looked down at my carpeted floor, my blush deepening. The next thing I knew, Sebastian's hands were under my chin as he lifted it up so that my hazel eyes met his alluring dark ones. He must have used his speed as an Alpha and I felt amazed again at his power. His lips parted as he murmured, "You don't need to be shy with me, cupcake. I'm your mate and your husband some day, so be free with me, okay?"

"Okay." I replied in a whisper and licked my dry lips.

His gaze dropped to my lips and I saw his dark eyes darken further with heat as want showed in them mixed with love. He leaned closer and I felt my breath hitch as my heart beat faster at his closeness. My wolf urged me to kiss him and I wanted to do it too, but before I could, he press his soft lips against mine in a few seconds peck. I felt a bit disappointed when he pulled back, I also knew that it was for the best for now.

Before he could do anything else, I turned and ran to the bathroom. I heard his amused chuckle as I closed the bathroom door. I placed the clothes on the towel rack and proceeded to start my shower.

After I was done showering and getting ready in the bathroom, I walked out to find that Sebastian wasn't in the bedroom. He must have gone to the living room to wait for me. I grabbed my purse from yesterday which still had my phone, work ID, cash and everything inside of it before making my way out of the bedroom. As I entered the living room, I saw that Sebastian wasn't there either.

Where could he be? My answer was answered when I heard his footsteps from behind me. I turned around and saw him coming out from the kitchen, holding polythene bags of two sandwiches each. My heart warmed as he passed one to me, "Here, we can eat them on the way."

I gave him a large smile with my teeth showing, "Thanks! You're too sweet."

I raises up on the tips of my toes and pressed a kiss on his cheek. He took in a sharp breath at the touch of my lips on his skin and I pulled back. He released a breath and his lips twitched up into a smile, "You're the sweet one, cupcake while I'm trying to please you."

My smile widened into a grin, "See, you're sweet."

He chuckled in his velvety, deep voice ay my reply and took my hand in his, "Come on now, let's get going. It's past 8:00AM already."

"Okay." I replied and interlaced our fingers together.

He tugged me towards the door and we made our way out of my apartment. As I pulled out my keys from my purse and inserted it into the key hole to lock the door, I heard the door of the apartment next to mine close. I finished locking it and glanced at the door as I started placing the keys back into my purse. Sierra was walking towards us with her eyes trained on my mate and a smirk on her lips.

My wolf growled in my head, seeing the way that she was staring at our mate. 'So she hasn't learnt her lesson in the bathroom, we might have to teach her a fiercer one', my wolf said in an angry tone.

'Be calm, companion. She wouldn't dare try anything on our mate and if she does then we can teach her a lesson.'

Sierra stopped in front of my mate and he stepped back, taking my hand back in his. He tugged me towards the elevator so that we could ignore her and leave. But she wasn't having any of it as she called out, "Excuse me, Sir. I have a question about work, I'm one if your new employees!"

He stopped and glanced over at her with a hard gaze that could terrify even the toughest werewolves, "In that case, you can ask those questions at work through my assistants."

"But Sir-" She started, but he cut her off.

"You do not come up to me and talk to me as your Boss and an Alpha. If you dare to do so again, little pup then I'll have you fired immediately. Understand?" He said to her in a low, threatening and scary voice that would intimidate even Alphas. I had to admit that he looked so scary at that moment unlike how he was with me and I felt glad because she or any other girl didn't deserve to see the side of him that I did.

I glanced at Sierra and saw that she looked scared as she stared at him im shock. She nodded her head, nervously, "Y-Yes, Sir- Alpha."

I felt happy to see her scared like that and my lips twitched up into a smile. Sebastian turned around and tugged me towards the elevator.

When we reached the car, Sebastian opened my door before I could and I climbed in while he walked around the car to climb into the driver's seat. He started the car and I watched him, feeling a bit concerned at the angry expression still on his face. So I placed my hand on his arm on the steering wheel, making him turn to me.

When his gaze met mine, his face softened and I said, "I don't like seeing you angry, my mate, so please smile more when you're with me. You look the most gorgeous when you smile."

Sebastian looked amused at my words and a smile touched his lips, "Okay, cupcake. I will try not to be angry again when I'm with you."

I grinned back at him and pulled my hand away from his arm, "That's awesome."

Picking up my sandwich bag from my lap, I opened it and pulled out one of the two sandwiches and took a bite of it. I glanced over at Sebastian to see him also taking a bite of his sandwich while steering the wheel with one hand. He glanced at me too as he asked, "Did you know that your traitor of a friend is now working at the company?"
