Chapter 40: Chapter 40
Sebastian looked absolutely delicious as they clothes his muscular body well, especially his strong, muscular and tattooed arms. I noticed that his eyes were now back to their dark color. He looked amused when he caught me staring at him and his lips twitched up into a smile.
"Uh, okay." I replied to him and grabbed the top and skirt that he laid out on the bed for me before standing up.
I walked past him to walk into the bathroom to clean up and change. My wolf kept urging me to go to him and have him mark us since she was so eager to mate with him. I ignored her since I already explained to her why we needed to wait and entered the bathroom. I closed the door and went straight to the faucet.
Amazement filled me when I realized that his bathroom was huge. It was at least three times the size of my tiny one back at my apartment. There was a large modern grey tub on the right then a shower beside it with glass doors. The sink was facing the door and was adjacent to the tub and shower.
Bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, body cream and shaving cream lined a glass table on the left. A rack of ash towels and hand towels was on the right of the sink. I placed the clothes on the rack then opened the faucet and water gushed out. I placed my hands under the running water and splashed it on my face then on my bloody arm.
After moments of washing my face and arm clean, I looked up into the mirror above the sink and saw my reflection. Water droplets ran over my face as my hazel eyes looked bright and happy. The front if my dark hair was wet and sticking to my forehead, but I knew that I still looked good.
I grabbed the hand towel from the rack and started wiping my face with it. I wiped my arm with it too and glanced over at my rubber sports bra and shorts. At least I was wearing them even though I didn't expect to change into my wolf today and I was glad that I did. Since if I hadn't, I would be naked in front of my new pack members.
I turned around and dumped the towel in the blue basket which contained dirty clothes on the left side of the sink before
grabbing the clothes from the rack and started changing into them. As soon as I pulled them on, I glanced at the mirror again and couldn't help, but think that they looked good on me. I turned around and made my way to the door.
When I walked out, I wasn't surprised to find the bedroom empty. I did spend a lot of time in the bathroom and he probably got tired of waiting then decided to go downstairs. I would have done the exact same thing. So I made my way to the door and walked out then made a beeline for the stairs.
Sebastian's alluring dark eyes captured mine as soon as I came into view, walking down the stairs. He was sitting on the three sitter couch with Jared and Katie on the other side while Connor, Lisa and Selena were squeezed on the two sitter couch. Ashley sat on an arm chair while Amy and Anna sat on either sides of her on the two arms.
Tucker was on the second arm chair while Ashton was on the third and last couch. Oscar, Jason, Aaron and Ross were sitting on the floor, two leaning back against each couches. They were all talking amongst their groups and they didn't seem to notice me, but Sebastian did. He held my gaze as I reached dthe last step and his dark eyes traveled down to my exposed neck and shoulders.
Want and appreciation showed in his eyes as they lingered on the junction of where he was supposed to mark me. He moved his eyes down to travel over my body before moving back up to my eyes as I walked towards him. A blush rose up from my neck and to my cheeks at his hot stare, and that made an amused look show on his face.
"Come sit with me, cupcake." Sebastian's entrancing, deep and strong voice came from his s*xy lips as his gaze never left mine.
"Okay." I replied to him and quickly went over to him while the pack members seemed to notice me just then.
As I reached him, I realized that there wasn't any space on the couch, "Maybe I should sit on floor since there's no space on the couch."
Sebastian looked even more amused as he replied, "Don't even think of doing that. Now, come here."
Before I could reply or react, he grabbed my waist to pull me down on his lap. I tried getting up, but he wrapped his arms around my waist and moved his lips down to my ear. His teeth grazed it and I gasped in pleasure. I felt him push even closer against my body and his hot breath hit my ear, almost making moan as he murmured, "Just sit with me, my Luna."
"Okay." I whispered back, feeling my face heat up even more.
My heart beat faster and my tummy filled with butterflies at the feel of his front press against my back. But I tried to relax and placed my hands on his that were around my waist. He took my hands and interlaced our fingers. They felt so good and strong around mine that I just wanted to keep holding them.
"So Luna, what do you do for a living as a human?" Selena asked me with a friendly smile from beside Lisa, bringing everyone's attention to me.
"Uh, I am a news and entertainment writer for Wolfe Corp." I replied to her with a small smile in return.
"Oooh, wow! A Boss/employee relationship! It must be spicy in the office." She replied with a teasing grin.
"Yeah, they must be enjoying all that office s*x like in the romance novels!" Lisa added as she wiggled her eyebrows playfully and we all laughed.
"Not really, we haven't mated yet as you can see that Sebastian hasn't marked me yet." I muttered, shyly that we were talking about my mate and I's s*x lives.
"Besides, even if we do have hot, spicy office s*x like those romance novels, we wouldn't tell you horny people." Sebastian added from behind me and chuckled in his deep voice that I felt the vibration in my back.
They all chuckled too at his teasing and Jared shook his head with a playful grin, "Are you sure that you're not the horny person here? Being a virgin for so many years?"
I was so shocked at the revelation, but also happy that my mate has actually waited for me to be his first just like I waited for him. I glanced back at him to see his face as I asked in shock, "You're a virgin?"
"Yeah, and we'll talk more about this later without an audience." He replied to me with a smile touching his lips and looking confident about it.
I was also glad that he wasn't ashamed of it like how the modern humans made it to be. How could saving yourself for the one you love or not sleeping around make you someone uncool? That was their theory, but in the end, no man or woman wanted to marry or end up with a sl*t.
I nodded with a grin on my lips, "Okay."
As I turned around, I heard his reply to Jared, "I might be the horny one, but at least I have met the one that can actually satisfy me, instead of going through women like laundry and trying to find satisfaction."
"Oohh, burn!" Tucker yelled and that made most of us chuckle including Jared, Connor, Sebastian and I.
"What is this? A roast off? If it is then I'm all in!" Connor exclaimed, looking excited.
The sound of the door opening and closing moved our attention to it to see Beta Adam walking in. Everyone except Sebastian and I chorused, "Welcome, Beta Adam."
He grinned as he made his way to us, "Thanks guys, but you don't have to do that all the time."
"I try telling them that too, but they don't listen." Sebastian muttered from behind me I'm an amused voice.
"How can we not address you with respect when you're our leaders? It just feels wrong." Katie said from beside Jared, shaking her head.
"Fine, you all do what you like." Sebastian said with an exaggerated sigh and I giggled.
As soon as I did, I felt his lips move down to my ear again as he murmured, "Your laugh is so beautiful just like you, maybe I should learn comedy just to hear you laugh all the time."
"Now, aren't you a sweet talker?" I retorted in a teasing voice as I leaned back against him, enjoying his warmth.
I heard his deep chuckle before he murmured a reply, "Oh, am I? Maybe it's your love turning me into one."
Another giggle surfaced from my throat and my wolf yipped in happiness, seeing us get along with our mate. "Maybe it is."
"Sebastian, there's something that happened today at the office that you would probably want to know." Adam's voice pulled our attention away from each and to him.
He was now sitting on the arm of the couch that Connor, Lisa and Selena were sitting on, and he looked concerned. Sebastian's voice came from behind me, "What is that? I hope that it's not concerning the business."
Adam shook his head, "No, but it's concerning the people. I saw the manager, Heather talking to one of Cameron's men and I'm not sure what to make of it."
A sigh came from Sebastian while I felt confused and anxious as to why Cameron sent his man to the manager. Sebastian's reply came, "Did you approach them?"
