Chapter 26: Chapter 26

As we sat down on the seats, Sebastian took his hand away from mine and wrapped his arm over my shoulder, pulling me closer to his body.

I felt my breath hitch at how the sides of our bodies were pressed against each other, but I relaxed and moved my attention to the cars racing each other.

There were five cars, one was a red Ferrari with green designs on it, the second was a black Lamborghini with red and yellow fire designs on it, the third was a yellow, new model Beetle with no designs on it which was surprising, the fourth one was a blue, new model mustang with red and green designs on it and the fifth was a white Ferrari with black and red designs.

The cars zipped down the tracks at such a speed that I've never seen a car go to before. They each tried to surpass one another, as one was ahead of another then another one would be ahead of it and the others would pass it and so on. That was how it went until the red Ferrari was leading at the front for some minutes and none of them could pass it. I couldn't help, but cheer for the car as I pumped a hand in the air and shouted, "Yes! Go red Ferrari!"

Sebastian looked at me with an amused look on his face and he chuckled in his velvety, deep voice that sent delightful shivers through me, "Are you that interested in watching the car race?"

I grinned at him as our eyes connected, his alluring dark eyes staring into my hazel ones, "Yeah, I had no idea that it was this interesting. You've officially converted me into a car racing fan."

His lips twitched up into a smile at my words, "That's good to know, now we have something very fun in common."

I felt so drawn to him as I stared into his eyes and he stared into mine, but I restrained myself and breathed out, "Yeah, have you tried racing?"

He nodded, his captivating dark eyes still holding my hazel eyes, "Yeah, do you want to see me race, cupcake?"

I grinned even wider, feeling excited at knowing that, "Yes! You will look very…"

I suddenly felt too shy to complete my sentence as I pulled away from his gaze and moved it down to his chest. He used his hand that wasn't over my shoulder to take my chin in his hand and lift it up so that my gaze met his intense one again. He looked amused at my shyness and was smiling as he asked me, "I will look very what?"

My cheeks flamed as a blush rose on them and murmured shyly, "Hot. A guy driving is always a hot thing, especially when he's driving in a rough way and breaking the rules."

He chuckled in his sweet, deep voice, "So you're into bad boys? Well, thank God that I can be a very bad boy and just for you, cupcake."

My wolf purred at his words and I felt my tummy squeeze in delight, my face becoming redder. "I'm glad to know that."

He took his hand away from my chin and took it to my red cheeks as he pinched it lightly, "You're so cute and hot when you blush like this. It makes me want to kiss the redness away."

I shook my head as a giggle surfaced to my lips and I moved my eyes away from his magnetic ones, "That would only make me blush more."

He let out a small laugh too and pulled me even closer into his body as he grinned. I knew that we had to have a change of topic since the s*xual tension between us was increasing. I also remembered a question that I have been wanting to ask. Glancing at him, I asked, "I have been wondering, how did you know that Aubrey loves R.L Stine's movies and how did you get the tickets so fast?"

Sebastian looked amused at my question and replied, "I knew about her love for Stine's work from the background check on you which included your family since they were going to become my family too. And I actually didn't plan on giving her the tickets until yesterday after the background check the night before."

"So you were going to go see the movie and gave her your tickets instead?" I asked him in disbelief and feeling impressed that he would do that for my family.

He nodded as his lips tugged up into a smile, "Yeah, Adam, Jared, Connor and I were going to go see it, but I decided to give her the tickets instead since we can watch it on TV."

I felt very touched that he would do that for my family and felt very proud of how selfless he was even as an Alpha which Cameron was not at all. "That's so nice of you, Sebastian. Thanks so much for doing that."

"You're welcome, Kat." He replied to me and I moved my attention back to the car race.

I placed my head on his shoulder as I watched the cars drift around a bend and struggle to surpass one another. It was the red Ferrari that kept leading, but the Lamborghini was trying to pass it as it raced very closely to it. They raced like that for while with the Mustang following behind them and the Beetle fighting to pass it. The black Ferrari was at the back, increasing its speed once in a while as it tried to pass the other cars, but they kept accelerating their speeds too.

It didn't take long before they neared the finish line and everyone was cheering for either the red Ferrari or the Lamborghini to win as they struggled to pass one another. Sebastian and I were also at the edge of our seats as we watched them, hoping that the car that we were rooting for would win. Finally, the red Ferrari crossed the finish line first and most of the people in the audience stood up as they all cheered and clapped. Sebastian and I also stood up as we cheered for it.

"That's Jared, he's one of my best friends and also part of my pack." Sebastian said as he turned to me.

I felt surprised at the revelation, "Wow, really?"

He nodded as he took my hand in his, interlacing our fingers, "Yeah, come on, let's go meet him."

I felt excited to meet a guy that I just became his fan a few minutes ago and grinned, "Okay!"
