Once we were done practicing, we headed up the stairs and left Vanessa with her mate, Oscar there even though I felt a bit uncomfortable about that since she was my kid sister, but I had to agree since she was an adult after all. When we entered the living room, Katie and Jared were cuddled up while Lisa and Connor were also cuddled up as they watched a movie on the large plasma TV screen. The others weren't in sight, and I wondered where they went and why the mood was romantic in the afternoon.

"Why are you four all cuddled up in the afternoon?" I asked them what was on my mind as we stopped in the middle of the living room.

"Yeah, it looks kind of odd." Sebastian added with his lips twitching up into a smile as he looked between the four of them.

Katie looked over at us with a smile along with the other three as she answered me, "We just wanted to watch a horror movie in the afternoon and thought that cuddling might help chase away the jitters."

I was shocked to hear that they were watching a horror movie since it was the afternoon AND they were cuddled up like they were watching a romance movie. Excitement coursed through me as I exclaimed, "Woah! That's a horror movie? I definitely want to watch it!"

Sebastian chuckled at my excitement as he glanced at me, looking amused, "Then let's watch it, cupcake."

I nodded at him, with a large smile on my lips as Connor nodded as he said, "You're going to love it. It's about humpty dumpty."

"Yeah, I've watched it before and it's scary plus full of mystery." Jared added as Katie and Lisa looked back at the screen, looking immersed in it.

"Humpty Dumpty like the kid's rhyme? Woah! That makes me even more interested in watching it. Come on, Sebastian, let's sit down." I said with a large grin, still feeling very excited.

Sebastian looked amused as his alluring dark eyes stared at me, "Yeah, why don't you sit down and I'll get our lunch?"

"Then maybe I should come with you to bring it."

He stepped closer to me as he shook his head, his gorgeous eyes looking into mine as if looking through my soul, "No need, cupcake. Just make yourself comfortable and I'll bring it over."

"Okay." I answered him as I nodded, feeling my heart warm at his caring personality and my smile stretched even wider on my lips, making his gaze drop down to them.

He dragged his gaze back up to mine and parted his lips to speak when we heard Jared say in a teasing voice, "What? Sebastian, the Alpha Mafia Boss is actually serving someone other than himself? He must be whipped by his innocent mate."

Sebastian chuckled in his velvety deep voice and I laughed along with Connor, Lisa and Katie. We knew that Jared was joking around and as an Alpha or a Mafia Boss, Sebastian wasn't supposed to serve anyone, we were supposed to serve him, but I was his mate, so that made me an exception.

Sebastian shook his head as he replied to Jared's teasing, "Yes, I'm whipped by my mate and I'm proud to say that. You should learn that from your Alpha Mafia Boss and start treating your mate right."

"Ooh, burn!" Tucker's voice came as he walked in with Selena under his arm.

The rest of us laughed again and Sebastian glanced at me as he said, "Get comfortable, cupcake, I'll be right back."

"Okay, sweetie." I answered him and watched as he walked away towards the hallway that led to the kitchen.

God, he was so s*xy that even his back profile looked hot. My wolf purred in my head in arousal and I agreed with her on that. I walked over to the three seater couch and sat down as Tucker and Selena went over to the two seated couch to sit down. Katie and Jared were on the other two seater while Lisa and Connor were on the arm chair that we left them with when we went for shooting practice.

I was so glad that I had finally learnt how to shoot so we wouldn't have to practice anymore. But on the other hand, I was a bit sad that we would stop practicing since I loved spending time with my mate and liked how he always found a way to tease me when trying to teach me. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Selena's comment, "Wow! A horror movie? I love horror movies!"

Lisa looked at her as she replied, "Then watch with us. It's now like a couple's thing. Alpha Sebastian and Luna Kat are also joining us."

"What about me? I want to join too and I don't have a mate." Ashton's voice came, pulling our attention to him as he walked down the staircase.

"Of course, you're welcome to join. Everyone can join, I just meant that only the couples have joined so far." Lisa explained to him with a sheepish smile.

"Ahh, I understand." Ashton answered her and moved his gaze to me.

He started towards me as he asked, "Can I sit next to you, Luna?"

"Of course, you can, but Sebastian's also sitting here." I answered him with a smile as I remembered how he apologized for Ashley's behavior as her brother.

"Alright, I will sit here until Alpha Sebastian returns." Ashton said, smiling as he sat down next to me, leaving some inches between us since I was Luna and mated, and a few inches closer might anger Sebastian.

As soon as that thought went through my mind, Sebastian returned to the living room, holding two plates of pasta and meatballs. However, he stopped in his tracks as his gaze landed on Ashton sitting beside me. His dark eyes flashed red as his jaw clenched, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the plates tighter. Before he could say a word, Ashton jumped up immediately, looking nervous as he saw the Alpha's angry look.

"Uh, I- I am sorry, Alpha! I- I just wanted to sit with Luna for a few minutes." Ashton stuttered, looking very nervous as the others turned to look at the scene.

Seeing how scared Ashton looked and how angry plus jealous Sebastian looked, I knew that I had to interfere before things got out of hand. So I jumped up from the couch and stepped towards Sebastian. I touched his arm as I captured his reddish dark eyes as he fought his wolf that was trying to push to the surface.

I lowered my voice as I spoke softly, "Sebastian, don't be angry. Ashton was only talking to me."

He bent his head to look at me since he was so much taller than me. His gaze softened and he closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath. He let out the breath as he opened his eyes which now had no hint of red in them as he relaxed.

His voice was husky and rough with emotion as he replied to me, "I know that, cupcake, but the reason I am angry is not that. I'm angry because I can clearly see that he has feelings for you. I can sense his desire for you in the air, it is one of the things that I can do as an Alpha and that just made my wolf and I very possessive. We can't stand the thought of another male even looking at you with desire, Kat."

Realization passed through me as I understood what he meant. I moved my gaze to Ashton to see him looking nervous and a bit ashamed since he heard what Sebastian said. I looked back at Sebastian as I caressed his arm, my lips stretching into a reassuring smile, "You and your wolf don't need to worry, Sebastian because he knows that he doesn't have a chance unless he wants to die. Besides, I only want you and only you, sweetie."

My words seemed to calm him down even more and his lips twitched up into a small smile. He drew in another breath and let it out before he muttered, "Fine, I will let it go for you, cupcake, but if he dares to stare at you again or even come a foot closer to you, I wouldn't let him off."

I nodded, my smile widening as I felt relieved for Ashton, but also as I felt my heart swell at how much he loved me that he was willing to fight for me. "Okay, Sebastian, thank you."

"Thank you, Alpha!" Ashton exclaimed, still looking nervous and moved to walk out of the living room, but he was stopped by Sebastian's voice.

"Wait, you don't need to leave, Ashton. You can stay and watch the movie, but far away from my mate and Luna."

Ashton turned around and nodded as he answered, "Yes, Alpha."

He walked towards the armchair that was farthest from us which was beside Connor and Lisa's armchair, and he sat down, still looking jittery and scared. I let out a sigh, feeling pitiful for him for liking someone that was already taken. Well, he will get over it once he meets his true mate. Sebastian pulled away from my hand on his arm and moved to sit down on the couch that I was previously on. I looked at him and saw him stretching one plate towards me.

"Here." He said as his alluring dark eyes captured mine as he stared at me intensely, making me blush and I smiled at him shyly.

I took the plate from him and sat down beside him. He wrapped an arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to him, making my body press against his warmer one as he moved his gaze to the large TV screen. I felt my body heat up at our contact and I wondered just how he was always making me feel this way like it was the first time that we had touched. As I stared at his handsome face, Sebastian turned his face to me, his lips twitching up into a smile.
