Lisa’s P.O.V

“And it seems to me that the man lies a lot,” I said, getting lost in my thoughts.

I thought about the accident that happened outside the meeting room that day. Jacob did not let me enter the meeting room and said that Sara was not there. I had searched for Sara in the entire office, but she was nowhere.

There was only one place left and it was the meeting room, but I could not search for her in there because Jacob did not let me enter. He smiled and told me that she is not inside, but I had 100% confidence that Sara was inside the meeting room.

Sara was never careless about her job and she could not disappear for hours like this. Sara came and told her a lie. I did not say anything because I understood she would not tell her truth no matter what, but due to this, her job was about to go. I was about to fight the manager for Sara's job and was going to lose my job as well after this fight and the reason for all this was Jacob. Smiling, he did not let me in. I was irritated by his smile.

"Are you alright? I have never seen you disliking someone like this.” Sara asked me, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, I am fine. I just do not like that secretary and especially his fake smile." I replied and narrowed my eyes at Mia because she was so impressed by his smile.

“You two girls are so boring!!” Mia said to both of us, rolling her eyes like she always did.

Sara’s P.O.V

We all had our dinner and we walked out of the restaurant. After walking together for a while, we went towards the directions of our homes. I was thinking should I take a taxi or not. it had little cash in my beg but if I spend it then I was going be angry tomorrow because I had to eat out. But then I remembered that I had money now. I could buy everything. i hand went to my beg and I hold it tightly and a big smile appeared on my face. I had too much money now. Now I do not need to beg anyone for money but suddenly Mia’s phone started to ring and as she looked at her phone, she looked disturbed. Her phone was ringing, but she was not answering it. Lisa and I went to her and looked at her phone and as both of us read the name of Luck on the screen of the phone, we looked at each other in panic. Mia’s smile had disappeared from her face.

“Mia, will you not answer your phone?” I said and she was still looking at her phone blankly, while I kept my hand on her shoulders. I have never liked to see her like this, her smile disappeared. Her phone rang again and we all were standing in the road at ten pm. Only the phone's ring was audible. Lisa looked at Mia and she immediately snatched the phone from her.

“Ok, let’s leave the fucking phone!” Lisa said and put it in her pocket after switching it off. Mia was still not saying a single word, she was standing there like a statue. Lisa gestured to me and I nodded my head as I understood what her plan was.

“I do not want to go home yet. Let's go to the club!” Lisa suggested and Mia looked at us. We both smiled at her and immediately dragged her towards the club. We knew after the call she was going to a club and going to drink a lot, we could not leave her alone, so we brought her to the club so that we could keep an eye on her.

After half an hour we all entered the club and now Mia was talking as we both successfully diverted her mind, but now she was talking too much. It was a good thing. As we all entered the club, the loud music and lights hit our ears and eyes. I closed my eyes as I never liked clubs. I never liked to come here and only came once with Mia and Lisa, this was the second time. I could not leave Mia in this mental state, she needs us. We were sitting near the counter and Lisa ordered our drinks

“Do not order for me. I am not drinking.” I said to Lisa. I had money on my card but I could not spend it like it and Mia narrowed her eyes at me.

“I know both of you are here because of me, but now I am okay and I can drink!” Mia said and we all laughed like crazy. The Waiter served the drinks and Lisa and Mia were drinking.

“Do you want to taste it? It is heaven!” Mia said and poked me, I just smiled at her. She was a heavy drinker. I saw Lisa was also drinking.

“Lisa don’t drink too much or how will I handle the both of you?” I said and she drank another glass upon hearing me.

“Do not you worry; I have already called the cab for the three of us. In a short time, cabs will be parked in front of the club and we will all be back in our houses within the next hour and safe too.” Lisa said and I saw a proud smile on her face. She always does any work with complete planning. Laughing I shook my head and looked at the alcohol. I had tested it a couple of times, but I knew I could not handle alcohol, so I did not drink it.

"Let's dance," Mia said and the two crazy girls dragged me to the dance floor. It had been a long time since I came out with both of them in this way and it seemed a bit right here too that the fight at home was liberated from the quarrels, but I did not find the place right.

All boys and girls in this club were from the rich families. There was no pre-made plan to come here, so I felt underdressed by not wearing fancy clothes. After dancing for a while, I went back to my place and watched them both dancing. Mia was looking good now and she was having a lot of fun, I was happy to see them both enjoying themselves.

Suddenly I noticed four men, who were not holding glasses of wine, but rather each was holding a bottle of wine and they were drunk. They started looking at me and I tried to ignore them, but it was making me feel uncomfortable. They looked dangerous and I saw that one of them was walking over to me, making me immediately get up from my seat and heading over to Lisa and mia. I managed to make my way through the crowd with some difficulty, but I finally reached Lisa and Mia. The volume of the song was so loud that I ended up having to shout down both of their ears.

“Lisa, it's past 11:00 pm, we should go home,” I shouted, Mia, carried on dancing while Lisa left us for a second and then came back.

“A cab has arrived outside, but there is only one,” Lisa said, but there were three of us and our houses were in different directions, we could not all go in one cab.

“Do not worry, I can go later, one of you two will take the cab,” Mia said, we both looked at each other and we knew that she was intentionally sending us first. She is trying to show us that she is fine, but it is obvious that all those things are still going through her mind.

“The cab is not here for us, it is here for you. You go back home first.” Lisa said, but Mia was staring suspiciously at both of us. I think she understood it is a lie. We could not fool her but it worked.

“Okay, then I will go home first, but when will your two cabs arrive?” Mia asked us and Lisa looked at me. We knew that if she came to know that we did not have a cab, then she would not go home and instead would try and send us in the cab.

“My cab has arrived, it is near the back gate, and Sara's cab should be here in a few minutes.” Lisa immediately replied, lying to her and I saw how adept Lisa was at lying, I never thought she could lie so easily and so fast. I smiled a little.

“Okay, so we are both leaving together, you are going to the back gate and I am going to the front gate,” Mia said, pulling on Lisa's arm. I did not mind waiting in here because I knew that Lisa would be coming back in five minutes, after making sure that Mia had left, but that still posed the question of how we were going to get home.
