Isabella's pov;

"I heard that your exams are around the corner. Have you started the preparation for the exams?" Mr Martinez asked me during breakfast.

"Yup! Moreover, The tutor is so nice and handsome. I love seeing his face everyday. Whatever he says, I'll do it right away so he gives me a reward for every task that I'm completing."

Big brother smacked on my head and said, "What are you blabbering about?"

"I was talking about you, tutor. I was praising how good you were at teaching me."

Big brother sat beside me and said, "I heard you. Don't try to skip the classes today."

Mr Martinez asked, "You're skipping classes? Where are you going?"

Big brother answered instead of me to Mr Martinez, "She's not going anywhere but asking for excuses to get away from the class."

Mr Martinez gave me a stare and said to Big brother, "Don't let her skip her classes again. Whatever the excuse she asks, don't let her go."

"Yes, Sir."

"Why are you being so strict?"

"If you don't pass the exam, you won't graduate. If you don't graduate, you won't be a chef. How will you run a restaurant without even graduating from high school? Then how will you give me ten million dollars back?"

I stood from the table.

Big brother asked me, "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to study. I'm going to graduate. I'm going to be a chef. I'm going to open a restaurant. And I'm going to pay ten million dollars back to you."

He gave a nod and continued eating his breakfast.

Some days after exams got over,

"How did you do your exams?" Big brother asked me while I was arranging my books in my room.

"Yeah, it's good."

"How much will you get?"

"I didn't count but I'm sure I'll get more marks than my previous ones. I'm so sure about that."

He gave a nod and left.

Mr Martinez came inside the room and asked, "What are you doing with the books?"

"I will definitely pass the exam so I'm packing all the books together to get rid of the dust that accumulated in this place."

"I like your confidence. Well, how do you want your graduation to be?"

"You're thinking way ahead of me. Okay, the plan? Maybe take pictures, go for lunch?"

"Don't you want anything as your graduation gift?"

"There's a graduation gift? What am I getting?"

"Do you have anything on your mind?"

"Lately, prawns are on my mind. And, I don't know why. Maybe I was craving it."

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes, after arranging it I feel so tired that I want to eat very badly to gain my energy back."

"I'll ask the chef to cook prawns for you. Come down once you're finished doing this."

"Okay, wait!"

"What is it?"

"After going to school, I remembered about my friends. Shall I go and see them?"

"Why are you asking me? You're not a hostage here but… a debtor."

I let out a sigh and said, "Thank you for reminding me." And continued arranging the books into a cardboard box.

After he left, I finished arranging the books into the cardboard boxes and came downstairs.

He looked at my dress.

"I'm leaving after lunch."

He gave a nod and continued eating the food on his plate."

In front of the school building, I stood and stared at the building. It's been two years since I came here. While I was looking at the school building, I heard a familiar voice. When I took a look, it's Peter.

"Hey, Peter? How are you?"

"Bella?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"Did your friends know that you're back in the city?'

I shook my head and said, "No. I haven't said it yet."

"Let me do it for you."

He took his phone and typed something and said to me, "I didn't say that you're here yet. I asked them to meet in the FZ restaurant near the school."

"I…"

"I can feel how you are feeling right now but I bet you'll forget everything once you begin with them."

"Come on, let's go to the restaurant."

After we came to the restaurant, he got a call. After ending the call, he said that my friends are on their way to this restaurant and said that he's leaving since he has some work in school to do.

After Peter left, I waited for my friends to arrive. As the time passed, I got nervous. I ordered a fresh juice and finished it quickly and waited for them.

I saw Noah entering the restaurant but he didn't see me since he was busy talking on his phone and sat at another table. I stood to go but stopped and sat and waited for other friends to arrive.

After some time, Sophia came. Evelyn came. Liam is the only one missing. Should I go now or should I wait till Liam shows up?

What if they leave after they get bored? Okay, let's go and meet them.

While I was walking to that table, I saw Liam in the entrance of that restaurant.

"Bella?"

Liam recognised me first and ran to me and gave me a hug. He asked, "Where did you go? Why didn't you talk with us?"

"You're talking like it happened Yesterday. That was two years ago. Why are you reminding me of that?"

Sophia saw me, "Bella! Did you really come back?" Came and joined the hug with me and Liam.

Evelyn said, "Why are you guys leaving me behind? I'm happy to see Isabella too. Include me in this hug."

Noah said, "What about me? Without me, this isn't called a group hug." He joined us in the group hug and said, "Don't try to run away again. We won't even be still if you tried to leave."

I laughed with them and started telling them about their love life.

"What about you Sophia? Are you seeing anyone?"

Evelyn laughed when I asked Sophia. What does that laugh mean?

Sophia started, "While I was searching for you, I came across Jenny's friend, Carey. I don't know why but she started to search along with me for you. I liked her attitude after talking with her. Following days, we came to hang out together and studied for the exams together too. She was so polite and I started liking her."

"Really? You sound like you fell in love."

"I did. I confessed to her during the space event."

"What did she say?"

"Her girlfriend

"This is Carey, my girlfriend."

I said, "You two look cute together."

Sophia thanked me and said, "It's not only me who got a girlfriend here." And smiled at me.

"Who's got a girlfriend other than you?"

She pointed at Noah and Liam and said, ``Both did."

I looked at them and asked, "Really? Who's that? Do I know them?"

I asked Noah, "Who's your girlfriend? Was she in our school? Do I know her?"

Sophia said, "You know her so much." And laughed.

I asked Sophia to stop teasing Noah and asked him again who's his girlfriend.

Noah pointed at Evelyn instead of answering me.

"Hey, I'll ask her later. Answer me first. Who's your girlfriend?"

Noah still pointed at Evelyn and Finally i got the picture.

"Noah and Evelyn? Evelyn and Noah? How did you end up together? It's so surprising to me. What happened between you two? Have you always been in love with a secret or did you just confess?"

Noah said, "We kissed when we're drunk and that kiss led to one thing and it led to another thing and without knowing, we fell in love with each other."

"But it still sounds surprising to me to see you two together. But I'm happy for my friends."

I turned to Liam and asked him, "Who's your girlfriend?"

He said, "Jenny."

"Wow! She is really something. She's the one who proposed, right?"

He nodded his head and said, "Yes. I felt embarrassed being proposed to by a girl but soon so many girls came after me. And I realised Jenny's true feelings toward me after some time. She's really something like you said." And made a smile.

I banged on the bench and said, "I feel so betrayed here."

"What happened?"

"I didn't have a boyfriend yet."

"Really? No boyfriend?"

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "It's fun to be alone too."

We started laughing and my phone started ringing. I took my phone and looked at the display. It's Mr Martinez. Why is he calling me now?

I answered the phone.

"Where are you?"

"I'm at a restaurant with my friends."

"Okay, call me when you're finished." And ended the call.

Everyone gave a stare.

Sophia asked me, "What do you think about him?"

"Mr Martinez is a kind, cool person. He reminds me of a lot of things."

Noah asked, "Mr Martinez is like you."

"What!?"

"It's the men's instinct. Believe me."

"Really?"

"But he's after me for the compensation, do you still think he likes me?"
