Chapter 28: Chapter 28
Chapter 29
Karmen's POV
I ignored my older brother because I was also hurt by what he did to Sezei.
Who would be happy if the man you love the most fell in love with your best friend who betrayed you?
I wanted to sigh at my older brother but I just held back. Sezei left here because of his nonsense. It was his fault, but none of us had any idea where he was.
Aviea was also gone with him, the whole palace was very quiet. Sezei was gone, no one was arguing, no one was in trouble.
A few days, weeks must have passed but it seems like everything happened a while ago. I still can't accept it.
I took a deep breath then stood up on the hammock I was sitting on when I saw my older brother.
He was back to normal.
No emotion, no caring around and he's more heartless.
I avoided looking at him because I couldn't look at him for a long time. I was disgusted with him!
I went to the back of the hall where my carriage was parked. I wanted to go out first and entertain myself.
Sezei's POV
"This is your horse." I happily harvested after I cleaned my customer's horse.
Fortunately, I thought of building something like this. If I didn't scratch, I would be hungry.
I am in the town of Malph. Here I work and live with Aveia and my guardians.
I've been here for almost a few weeks and I can say that my life here is peaceful. Away from trouble, no problem.
"Clean up these two horses, we'll come back later." I turned to the speaker and I was stuck in my position but I immediately took the leash of their horses and then slightly bowed.
"I'll follow." I replied then immediately turned my back on them and tied the two horses outside the stable.
Fortunately, I thought of wearing a cloth over my face so they could only see my eyes.
"Your Majesty? Isn't that Lord Evin?" Riri asked so I secretly nodded then took the bucket with only water. I saw them leaving so I took a deep breath.
"Hello Nite!" Lane greeted me. He was selling accessories and riceball at the place next to me.
"Hello." I greeted back to him then began to clean the horse.
"Did you accept the offer from your customer yesterday? I miss you there." He asked while I was cleaning the horse.
"I didn't accept, I'm not that desperate to make money so that I can even run a nightclub." I explained to him.
"That's the only thing that's hard there but it's a pity you're beautiful and sexy if you can't make money. You don't have a husband or boyfriend—"
"I'm pregnant." I interrupted here which stopped him.
"W-What? W-Who did that to you?" He asked but I told him to keep quiet because he had a customer.
It was only a matter of time before I finished cleaning the horses so I just brushed their hair.
I small opened the inside of the stable and peeked at Aveia cleaning the entire stable.
"Are you done?" I asked here so he looked at me.
"Not yet your highness." He whispered to me so I nodded and closed the stable again.
“Do you want Nite?” Lane asked me while holding a jar of the dish.
Even though I couldn't get close to him, my stomach almost turned over from what I smelled, so I quickly went inside the stable and went straight to the toilet and then vomited.
Nothing came out of my mouth and when I felt okay I went back out of the stable.
"Are you okay?" Lane asked so I nodded. "I'll just offer you this riceball." He said as he interrupted his dish.
He handed me two big riceballs which I immediately accepted.
"Thank you." I thanked then continued combing the two horses.
"Are they done cleaning?" Asked Lord Aziro who had just arrived with Lord Evin.
"Yes, it's over." I replied so I removed their leashes and handed it to them at the same time as they handed over the payment.
When I received their payment, I immediately turned my back on them when Lord Aziro suddenly spoke.
"I just saw your place here, are you new here?" He asked me so I confronted them.
"Yes, I've only been here for a few weeks." I pretended to nod at him. Evin was looking at me without emotion so I barely went.
"Is that so, that's why I just saw your place here." Lord Aziro said.
"Nite! Nite!" I turned to which Sera gasped calling me.
"Why? Did something happen?" I asked him worriedly.
I saw Lord Aziro and Lord Evin look at us but I ignored them.
"Avro's group, they broke into the shops near my place, including mine." Aling Sera cried so my blood boiled.
Avro's group is really sunbathing. Nakakabwisit!
"You take care of Lane's stable first. I'll be right back." I said goodbye to Lane then took the long sword that was leaning on the stable.
"B-But you're pregnant, aren't you? Maybe you can—"
"I'll just wait." I said then quickly left and went to Sera's place and there I saw Avro destroying the shops.
"Stop it." I promised calmly as I approached them.
"What? Don't interfere! You're scolding us ah!" He shouted but I just kept approaching them. "Stop her!" Avro shouted and then at the same time his companions rushed at me.
I quickly and secretly gave a chant to the long sword I was holding and then quickly struck them hard so that they lost consciousness.
"Fuck!" It was cheap and I was about to run as fast as I approached him. I squeezed his hand behind his back.
"Try to run if you don't want to be like those with you." I told him and he immediately nodded.
I removed the chant to the arnis I was holding as well as to Avro’s companions so they slowly came to consciousness.
"Clean up and fix everything you broke here." I told them but they didn't speak.
I pushed Avro and then kicked his back so that he would fall down. I will hit him with the sword when he speaks.
"Yes! Yes! We'll fix it!" He shouted so I backed away then let him stand.
"Try to run away and the next time we meet again you will definitely not be able to connect your head to your body." I threatened and they nodded quickly.
"I'll be back which Sera." I said to which Sera who was in front of the store it was also damaged.
"All right Nite, thank you ah." I just nodded here and walked back to the stable while waving the sword I was holding.
"Hey Nite! Your two handsome customers followed you ah? Didn't you see?" Lane opened up to me when I arrived. What? They followed me?
"No." I sparingly promised here and returned the sword to lean on the stable.
"They look like they come from a rich family. The splendor of their clothes and horses." I didn't answer Lane to what he said. If he only knew maybe those two were Lords.
"Nite, I'll clean up with Dacio, I'll come back later, I'll just buy something." Mang Dano said while holding Dacio's horse.
"All right." I promised then took Dacio's rope.
Someone's POV
"She's getting stronger mother. What will we do?" My son asked me while sitting in front of my desk.
"She's no longer in the Paine Palace and the Stone Palace. If we attack those two kingdoms she can definitely do nothing. She's not a princess anymore. I'm sure we will win the battle." I told my son who nodded. "After that then we'll focus on him. For now don't. "
I sip my glass of wine as my son speaks.
"What about princesses, princes and kings? Shall we kill them too?" He asked with a nod.
"My monsters will take care of them. I still have the Percia brand and I have more control over that power than that woman." I said to my son. We can't fail. We have taken many steps and almost we have reached the pinnacle of success. Just be patient.
"When we get him, will the heart of Asnamon come to us?" He asked with a nod.
"Just k*ll her anytime you want if ever you have a good chance. But as I said we will take care of the kingdoms first but if you have a chance? Grab it quickly." I reminded him who laughed here.
"Yes mother, I'll talk to you quickly. That woman will be mine for a while."
