Vanessa gets dressed heading out alone without waiting for Carolina to finish and decide to go straight to work since she has nothing much to do in the morning, She arrived and sat down at her desk then get to work and after few minutes, other people start to enter and join her including Carolina.
“why didn’t you wait for me this morning? I thought you will be depressed over what happened yesterday so I woke up early to prepare you something to eat but you left” Carolina said upset
“sorry sweetheart but am not in the mood for food and also, some work are pressing on my desk that I need to clear and give to the supervisor before the end of today” she replied and hug her lightly
“apology accepted but then, are you okay? You use to hate getting up early”
“what do you mean? Am fine, I just want to get this done with” she answered and smiled then continued her work, She finished after another two hours and went to the supervisor’s office with it.
“you came early today” the supervisor said on seeing her and close the file in front of her
“Am done with the assignment you came to me ma’am” she said instead and place it on her table.
“no you are not going to submit that to me but to your new supervisor. I will call Josephine now and the both of you will report there together and after that, only one of you two will get to stay after your internship here I hope you understand me” she said and Vanessa nodded to her words then she pick her phone and call Josephine then gave her the same instructions with what she told Vanessa and asked for them to be directed to their new office
“Linda, can I ask you if there is anything you know about us been taken to another office?” Vanessa asked as Linda lead them to another upper floor
“I don’t really know much but I know that you both will be working with the new company CEO and that is going to determine if you will retained here or not” she answered and they entered the elevator
“the new owner? I heard this is a new company so how come we have a new owner so soon and why are we chosen instead of those who are very experienced?” Josephine also asked
“I don’t know about that, its the business of the company’s CEO and besides, two interns were requested for and the manger recommend the both of you” she answered and signal for them to enter the office with her
“we are here, Jennie will attend to you now and direct you” she said and left them.
A very beautiful and elegant lady walk up to them. She puts on a blue gown with white jacket and pack her hair in a ponytail which made her look extremely beautiful.
“hi, you must be Josephine and Vanessa right? Am Jennie your new boss” she introduced with a soft and sweet voice
“you are beautiful, you are the one of the most beautiful woman have seen” Vanessa commented inattentively.
“oh sorry, am Vanessa” she apologized
“its okay, thanks for your compliment, you also look very beautiful” she replied with a smile and Vanessa smiled instead, Josephine also introduced herself
“actually am here representing my fiance, he is the new owner of this company and I hope we will work well together” she said then lead them to the main office
“this is where the both of you will work together with us. He will be here soon but before that, you should both submit your work to me so I can review it before you start anything” she said again then leaves
“wow! I cant believe we are working for such a kind and beautiful boss, When Linda said we are working for the new owner I was panicked and thought maybe we are going to suffer with lots of work” Josephine said excited
“yeah me too, but the thing I don’t understand is why the supervisor picked the both of us for this. We are the most laziest among our colleagues”
“maybe she wants to train us well but anyways, am happy to be working for such an angel” she replied and Vanessa waited for her to finish hers before they both head in to submit their work to her.
They both got to her office and met her sitting down and facing another who they assumed must be her fiance so they decide to tap the door before entering
“yes come in” she said and turn to face them. Josephine and Vanessa walked in and move closer to her but the person Vanessa saw on the seat made her stop in her steps and she almost stumbled
“what is wrong?” Josephine asked and quickly held her from falling
“nothing, I missed my step” she replied and quickly comport herself. The both of them hand the report to her and step down for any further instructions
“this is my fiance, Nisan. Am sure you might know him and am sure you know the MNM company right?” she asked and Josephine nod her head yes while Vanessa looks on lost.
“Nisan, this will be our assistants” she informed and turn to face him but Nisan remain rooted to his seat
“you both will get a definite post tomorrow meaning one of you will be my assistant” she said again with a smile
“I will really like to be your assistant” Josephine quickly said and flash a smile to her then they notice Vanessa staring into the air
“why have you been quiet the whole time? Do you have something to say?”
“no not at all, am sorry. Just wondering why you and your fiance will want to take over such a small company compare to your status” she responded
“my fiance is interested in a lot of things you see and also this is related to our line of business anyways so you can just do some simple works for today, we will call you if we need anything” she said and dismissed them
