Since then, she start to keep her distance and only greet him when necessary. But then again he was able to turn the table around and spoil things between them again at the school camp but still she wont give up on him and even tried to get into the same university with Alan but he still somewhat manage to cause another misunderstanding with that and made her choose the same university with him instead but when she still wont budge he decide to take another way. Become Alan, take Alan’s place in everything and also in her heart. But even when everything fall apart for her she still refuse to come to him and when he went to her, she rejected him again.

“Vienna, what happened? I thought you and Alan are getting along well but why am I hearing this about the two of you?’ he asked her when he went to see her at the hospital where her mother was.

“i also don’t know and also why will he suddenly announce Benita as his girlfriend? I don’t seem to get where the connection between them is? Could it be that she seduced him behind my back?” she said with tears in her eyes.

“why do you only blame Benita? Alan is also at fault for leaving you for her, he knows you like him and that you are best friends with Benita”

“no, he probably doesn't know and even if he did, am sure there is something else behind it. He cant possibly like her”

“you still believe him after doing this to your family and you?” he asked in disbelieve. Vienna keep quiet not answering his question.

“fine, believe what you want to but am very close to him and I can tell you that he really did everything you heard”

“but about my dad, is there anyway you could help me? I just want to speak with grandfather about it? Does he even know something like this has happened?”

“I cant help you with that but I have another way to help you out of this”

“really? That’s great what way is that?” she asked with a ray of hope in her eyes.

“why don’t you let us announce that you are together with me, that we are in a relationship then I can use my position to help you”

“do you know what you are saying? That’s the most stupid idea I’ve ever heard. How will you even think about something like that, I thought you had a good idea” she said pissed off. Karen was disappointed at her reply. She is at her worst now and he had except that she will eagerly agree with him instantly and see clearly that he’s the one who truly loves her.

Vienna turn to leave and go inside. After what he tried with her at the school trip in high school she feels different about who she really think he is. Karen held her back and hug her forcefully.

“where do you think you are going to? I have come this far because of you but yet you are still rejecting me? You said I don’t have any thing he has but now I do. I have a lot of things that he has now so why are you still rejecting me?” he said yelling at her while Vienna continually try to free herself from his hold.

“Karen leave me please let me go!” she screamed desperately and hope someone will pass by and hear her. Karen cover her mouth to stop her from screaming and tried to kiss her but she closed her mouth. Then he kissed her cheek and all over her face trying to have his way with her. Vienna screamed more and struggle with him and fortunately for her, one of the security was coming flashing light in there direction and running towards them. When Karen heard his voice he released her quickly and start to apologize.

“am sorry Vienna I don’t know what came over me, I don’t mean to do that to you am really sorry” he said and then run away before the security get to them.

As Karen ruminate on the past he closes his eyes and take a deep breath. Right now, he wants to make it up to her and make her happy with him and as his own. Very soon he will have everything that belongs to Alan and take over his position as the owner of the Clinton’s empire and also get rid of every thorn in his flesh.
