Alan drove Vienna to the clinic for her regular checkup, he held Alex's hand but he pull away from him and he tried holding him again

“Dad am a man now I don’t need you to hold my hands outside” Alex said to his father as he pull away again

“really?” Alan asked

“yes, other will think am still a child if you do that” Alan nodded and did a full gesture of salute to show he accept his reason

“dad is mom going to give birth to a boy or a girl?” he asked after a few seconds

“I want her to give birth to a boy, we can do things together and he wont think of dolling himself up like those stupid girls at school” he continued without waiting for Alan's reply

“I don’t want that” he said lowly but Alex still manage to hear him

“You don’t want to what?” Alex asked him but he smiled him and changed the topic

“Is there any girl disturbing you at school? I know my son is very handsome for there not to be any” he asked but Alex gave him a strange and uninterested look

“Dad, how can you discuss something like that with your five year old son? It doesn't speak well of you” he responded and turn his attention away from him

“having one son who is so controlling and bossy is enough, I prefer I girl who will want to dress himself up instead”

Vienna soon come out and they all head to the doctor’s office and after telling them somethings, he released them. Alan wanted to ask Vienna if they can get a scan to know the gender of the baby but he knows she will get mad at him again and stopped, he will keep praying its a girl

Alan opened the door for Vienna and wanted to do Sam for Alex but he rejected him claiming he's man

Alan entered the car about to drive off when he received a text from Kellie and smiled, Vienna became curious and tried to see the text

“Who is that?” she asked and Alan showed her the text

“Kellie!” Vienna said surprised

“she has finally decide to come to relocate back”he said happily

“yes, I wonder how Joel is doing with acting as the wife” Alan said

“Am sure Miss Kellie wont do that for real, will she?” Alan smiled without replying

Vienna got a call from Vanessa and hesitated before picking up, she knowing what the reason will be and is feed up of listening and solving their issues

“Yes, what has happened this time” she asked without interest

“Sister, am getting married” she screamed and Vienna had to move the phone away from her ears

“really? Congratulations” she replied happy for the both of them, maybe when they finally get married they will stop having meaningless fights

The both of them talked till Vienna arrived home because Vanessa couldn’t stop telling her about how the proposal went, Alan parked the car and opened the door for Vienna then held out his hand to her

He helped her out and turned to leave when he noticed Alex staring at him looking displeased

“What is it?” he asked

“Why didn’t you open the door for me or hold my hands?’ he questioned him and Alan was flabbergasted

by his words

“You just told me about an hour ago that you are a man and not a child” Alan answered

“That is in public, this is our home and the love should be shared equally” he said and folded his arms

“Dad, am disappointed that I have to teach you these things” he said again and went inside leaving them in awe
