Nisan is still shaken by Vanessa's word and forgot about his conduct in front of Jennie's parent but he still didn’t apologize and start to eat before everyone else
“Callas, I hope you son isn't planing to ignore my daughter later after getting married” Jennie's father asked dissatisfied at Nisan's attitude
“What do you mean ignore? The both of them are in love with each other, am sure its because he’s shy in front his parents” callas explained. Jennie’s father nod his head at his explanation and start to eat
If it wasn’t for his daughter insisting on getting married to Nisan, he will never have agreed to this relationship after breaking things off with Austin but Jennie had insisted that she must get married to Nisan and because of the fact that she had lost her mother at a very young age, he always do whatever she wants
“Dad, don’t be too hard on Nisan, he’s the shy type” Jennie also said to defend him and everyone continue to eat in silence while Nisan's mind wander back to Vanessa's words and he couldn’t concentrate or follow what is being discussed
“Nisan!! your father-in-law is asking you something” his stepmom called his attention
“Are you not satisfied with the day we picked? If not then you can pick any date you want” Jennie said but Nisan was confused and her father noticed
“Haven't you been listening to everything we’ve been saying” her father asked annoyed
“What about my brother?” Nisan suddenly asked making everyone feel awkward
“Why are you asking after your brother instead of answering the question asked” callas said
“Why? Do you leave him out of this meeting to make yourselves feel better? Or are you going to keep on pretending” he questioned them
”Nisan, why are you bringing up Austin here? This is about us” Jennie said trying to stop him
“Austin? I thought maybe you must have forgotten his name, why are you acting like there is no relationship between the both of you?” Nisan snapped at her and Jennie was taken aback by his question, she didn’t except him to know about her past relationship with Austin
“Why are you all surprised or are you all just pretending to be?” he said and turned to face Jennie's after
“You gave your daughter to the elder brother and after he became disabled you let her get married to his half-brother that has been rejected as a bastard since birth!” Nisan yelled angrily
“Don’t you insult my daughter!” Jennie's father shouted
“Nisan, its not what you think, Austin and I have no such relationship it was just a wishful thinking by our parents and I never…” Jennie tried to explain but Nisan cut her off angrily
“Are you shamelessly denying him now? What a way to go” Nisan turned to his after who has been silent since
“Are you also going to pretend you don’t see the pain and struggles of your son for the past two years, are you going to keep hurting him for money?” he questioned him but callas didn’t reply and just turned to face Jennie's father instead
“Am so sorry about this, am sure he’s just drunk. I will make sure to discipline him properly when I get back” he apologized to him
“Yes dad, am sure Nisan is just upset because he thinks I was once in a relationship with Austin, I just need to explain properly to him” Jennie also said supporting Callas
“We will leave now but make sure you deal with this properly or I wont hesitate to abandon you and your company” he threatened and turned to leave angrily with one of Jennie's aunt
“I wont be getting married to your daughter” Nisan suddenly dropped the bombshell and a look of horror can be seen on Jennie's face
“what!” the rest of them exclaimed shocked
“am not getting married nor am I continuing with this relationship, as from today am going to cut all ties with you all” he declared and dropped everything in this pocket that belongs to his father including his phone and turn to leave but Jennie rush over and stopped him
“Nisan, why are you behaving like this? What’s wrong? Did Austin tell you something? You must not believe him everything he told you are lies” she screamed trembling as she held on to him tightly
“Austin didn’t tell me anything someone else did” he said and push her away but she held on to him again
“Then did Vanessa tell you anything? I didn’t do it, it was all Josephine's idea…” she said and stopped realizing she just give herself away
Nisan looked at her shocked, he had no idea that she already knows who Vanessa is, no wonder she wanted to move the engagement and wedding ceremony forward. Nisan push her again and left before she could stop him
Jennie crashed to the floor crying and her father left angrily while her aunt stood with her to console her including Nisan's stepmom
Jennie cried for a few more minutes before standing op and rushing out of the room as they both followed running after her
Austin saw Nisan coming out of the room looking angry and called out to him but he didn’t listen and kept going, he wonder what is wrong and start to wheel his wheelchair towards the room to find out just then, Jennie suddenly came to him and attacked him holding onto his clothes roughly
“What did you tell Nisan? What on earth did you tell him to make him call off the wedding” she screamed at him furiously
Austin is shocked at her behaviour but more surprised that Nisan call off the wedding
“I didn’t say anything” he replied
“You promised to stay silent, you even gave me your blessing, so why are you doing this to me now? Are you hoping I will get married to you never!” she continued to scream at him while Mrs Callas tried to stop her…
