Aviena's POV

“Seriously, Sir River is sweet. You are really lucky with each other,” they told me so I just laughed awkwardly and just smiled.

A few hours later pass by and they came back and forth just to ask me if I'm fine. River also sends food for lunch so the team is really full.

When Big Sister came, she really preached while angrily looking at me.

“Why are you here early in the morning? Didn't I already tell you that I was going to the penthouse?” she asked me so I just shrugged.

"I'm itching to work." That's all I said so I can see how she looks at me as if she doesn't believe me. I just smiled before shrugging. We're in public and I don't really like to fight with her right now.

“And Grandma said that after you go to Baguio, you leave immediately? You don't have a job. Why are you in such a hurry to go home again? Don't say you're excited to see your husband?” The smile immediately disappeared from my lips when I heard about grandma. I couldn’t help but remember Auntie and Uncle.

I just stopped and didn’t speak anymore because of that.

I didn't even pay attention to what Big Sister was saying and started working. I tried to get River out of my mind. I tried to focus on my work instead.

That shoot went well. Big Sister was right when she said she was going to fill my schedule because I have three more photoshoots for some brands.

I tried to sleep while we were going to that photoshoot. When we got there, some models were already there. Some smiled at me, I did the same.

I just changed my clothes and sat in the sit they gave to me. Ms. Cho, the boss of a cosmetic company, was the one who was going to do my makeup. Almost everyone wants her. Her team was always hired by big productions to do the make-up.

We're just talking about random things when we see that some staff are immediately in chaos. My forehead furrowed but my eyes immediately widened when I saw River entering the building.

What is he doing here again? Yes, I saw his text but I ignored his messages. I'm serious with my plan but he doesn't make everything easy because of what he's doing.

I pretended to be busy talking to Ms. Cho as if I didn't notice him entering but Ms. Cho immediately notice him, she was the one who pointed River there. There was even a wide grin on her face while looking at me. I don’t know if I should be annoyed or laugh at her

"Your husband is here, Beh," she said so I just smiled awkwardly before secretly sighing just to approach 'my husband.

The fake smile immediately curved at me as I approached River.

“Hey, Hubby, I didn’t know that you’ll go here,” I said before giving him a peck kiss on his lips. I could see him raise an eyebrow at me but I just smiled.

Sometimes he forgets he married an actress. I even managed to wrap my hand around his waist. The reason why he looks at me. Soon, I could feel his hand curling around me. He even pulled me closer to him. I can't help but look at him too. I also couldn't stand his blue eyes so I immediately faces those he was talking to.

“Why are you here? Business?” I curiously ask. He didn't answer my question because some staff came just to greet him.

I also slowly let go of him when I saw a familiar woman entering. How could it not be familiar, Aviena? Every day you try to visit her account.

Kylie Denise walked like a goddess when she entered the set. She's pretty. Those blue eyes she has. Her blonde with white highlights is waving as she walks as if she's in a fashion show. No wonder River's dating her. I would like her too.

I was about to walk away from River but his grip just tightened.

"Now, I know why you're here," I whispered softly, unable to avoid the smirk on my lips.

"Excuse me, I'll go back to my seat now," I said, trying to smile at him. He just look at me. I don't know what he means by that. Is he guilty of coming here because of someone else? There's no need for that. He doesn’t have to be guilty anymore because that’s what we talked about. It's completely fine. I can understand…

I just smiled to myself. Really, Vena? Fool everyone but you can't when it comes to yourself.

When I got back to my seat, he just talked to a staff member. I never looked at him again.

"You didn't mention to me that Kylie Denise was here, Big Sister," I said. I tried to act normal. I can see how Big Sister looks at me and seems like she's estimating.

“For what? You don't always know who you are going to work with? You usually don't ask about them,” she said so I just shrugged. She's right about that.

“Right, but Kylie Denise is on a different level, Big Sister Rose. She's an International model! ” Tessy said, looking like she was excited to take a picture with her. I just smiled there.

I also calmed down and was not able to talk to Ms. Cho now.

Kylie Denise and River didn't get close to each other but I know something that's why I just can't really keep my mind thinking of something else.

River was approaching my place when I immediately stood up because I was already called. He stopped walking because of that. I can still feel his eyes just staring at me. I ignored him and just went straight to the set.

I try to tell myself that I'm not jealous but that's not the case. I do like him and it's hurting me thinking that he was just here for the sake of someone else.

Funny how fate works, Kylie Denise and I will be on the same frame.

"Hi, I like your hair," she said to me with a smile looking at my black hair. I also smiled at her before saying my regards

"You look like a goddess," I weakly said. She really is.

I know that everyone knows that River and I are married but maybe he told her that it's all for show. I don't really have time to hate on her. The only person I should hate right now is myself. I was the only problem, to begin with. I was even the one who changed the contract to this one.

I even looked at River when he was watching the shoot today. I just smiled to myself. Don't even think that he's watching you, Aviena. You're just going to hurt yourself.

Kylie Denise and I started to post in front of the camera. If the word innocent will be personified, she'll be the best example. While I'm more on the sexy type. I tried to look at the camera as much as possible. I'm trying not to look at River but I can't help it. I saw someone talking with him. I saw a little smirk on his face and he's as if telling the world with that face that 'Yeah, right, that's my girl'.

Right, the girl next to me. That's her girl. I tried to compose myself until the last shoot but I can already feel the heaviness of my chest and I also know how much this is hurting me.

When it's over, I plan to leave immediately. There's another shoot and I also can't afford to go home early tonight.

"Wife." I just stopped when River called me after I had planned to leave.

“You still have your next shoot, right? I'll drop you off,” he told me so I turned to him before smiling.

“There’s no need for that. I have my car. ” I don't know if I ever sound bitter but I tried my best not to show it. He just looked at me as if he was studying the expression on my face. I was even able to smile again.

“I’ll get going now. Thanks for the food.” I just picked up the food he provided for me.

I know he didn't come here for me so no need to act at all. I can also see how Kylie Denise looks at us. When she saw me looking at her she just let out a gentle smile. I also just smiled slightly before going straight to the exit.

The two photoshoots ended with me almost not acting as my own but I also did the job well.

"Vena!" My sister and I were leaving when someone called me. I immediately turned to Julie who was already there.

"Hey," I greeted before smiling slightly.

“Come with us! Let's have a drink!” she said to me. I immediately shook my head. I don't really like the taste of alcohol, the reason why I hardly go to some bar and have a party like that. It just depends on when I really need to.

“She can’t. He was invited to Direk Remonte's party,” Big Sister proudly said to Julie so I couldn't help but look at her. I thought we were already going home. She is really serious about filling my schedule. So there will be no rest at all, huh?

I'm sure there will be a lot of work tomorrow. Maybe it's okay so I don't see and still remember River.

When I got in my car, Big Sister did the same.

“What’s with you, Big Sister? You didn't even tell me that we're going to Direk's birthday.” I even looked at her while frowning.

“This is the reason why I didn’t tell you. You're going to look like that all day,” she said, shaking her head at me.

I haven't argued yet. Big Sister is very ready for such sudden parties because she often just pulls me to socialize. She also bought a gift which is really good.

I looked at my phone when I saw a text from River.

Husband:

Where are you? I'm already here to fetch you.

Me:

I told you not to. I still have things to do.

Husband:

I'll wait for you then.

Me:

No need, River. Thanks for the thought though.

I also turned off my phone after being nice to him in text.

When we were at the party, I always smiled at the people. I’m so used to acting that I feel like I’m happy to see them.

There are also many celebrities here. Even Ae who is the prime time queen is also here.

I also greeted Direk Remonte when we approached him. I just socialize with them. I just stopped when I saw River who was also here.

And of course, if there's River, there's also Kylie Denise.
