Chapter 66: Chapter 66

I tried again to escape, but I can't do it anymore. Don Guillermo tightened security here in the warehouse so that I could not escape again. I am thankful that nothing happens for me when I lose consciousness. I feel no physical pain.

I was just shocked when I woke up. I was in another room and I was still tied to a chair. My lips don't have masking tape, so I can still talk and shout when I want.

I have a screen visible in front of me. If I am not mistaken, what can be seen on the screen is footage of a CCTV. Then I also saw Don Guillermo standing in front of me as he just stared at the screen with his staff.

I don't know what Don Guillermo thought he would do right now. I suddenly remembered what he had done to my family. He is stupid.

"Hello there." Don Guillermo signaled to stop me from moving my hand behind my back. "You didn't tell me you woke up," he told me again.

I just stared at him. I don't think I need to tell him that. He is also not important in my life. Why would I tell him?

"Where are they now and what did you do to them?" I am referring to my parents.

He faced the screen and he pointed to it. I also followed his gaze then saw my father's hand-tied there. I also saw my mother next to it as if they were also in a warehouse.

"What do you plan to do with them?" I was afraid to question him.

"I've already told you my plan with them," he says. "I called Wrum earlier. I told him you were there in the warehouse, where your family is." he smiled.

"Shit." I seem to know what will happen next.

"You know, Wrum will help you because he loves you, so he will help your parents too," he told me again.

"So if Wrum is going to help my parents, that's the time for my father to kill Wrum. Is that your plan Don Guillermo?" I'm nervous asking him.

"Very clever. You got it right. Even though I haven't told you my plan yet, but you knew it right away." He said.

"No! Stop this kind of bullshit Don Guillermo!" I shouted.

"I can't stop. This is just the only way to clear everything. So I can marry you without any hindrance." That stupid marriage. I hate it!

I scolded him for what he told me. He was annoying. No one should die in this battle. This is not possible.

"Wrum is already calling me," he said. He shoved his cellphone into his pocket. He looked at it and answered, then faced me. "Your time starts now. You need to go to the warehouse to save your beloved slave and his parents."

Don Guillermo talks to Wrum on his cellphone. I have to make my way. My father might kill him and if he didn't die, my father might. Bullshit.

"Don't listen to him Wrum!" I shouted, but Don Guillermo immediately put down his cellphone.

"Please don't listen to him." I wish I could tell Wrum this, but I know he won't hear it again.

I wanted to cry, but I restrained myself first. I don't want to be weak anymore. I would rather be more resilient in these opportunities.

"Your knight and shining armor Silic is coming to save you 'supposedly'," he says. "He didn't know I am just playing him. I'm excited to see them kill. That's why you're here so we can watch them kill." He laughs like crazy.

He faced me again. He just kept staring at me and he just kept on laughing, that’s what made him look mad. I've been thinking he is crazy for a long time. In everything he does and in everything. He was mad.

He faced the monitoring screen again. "A few minutes from now, the game officially started. Let's see who dies here. Is it Wrum or Emmanuel." he said. "Your mother has nothing else to do there. Just sit and watch them kill each other."

He faced me again. "It would be nice if you were the one to kill Wrum," he said and smiled then he returned his gaze to the screen. "Anyway, let's talk about it if your father fails his mission."

Damn it. This is so bullshit.

My anxiety doubled when I saw a car parked in front of a warehouse. That's what I saw on a monitor and I knew it was Wrum's car. I was not mistaken in what I saw when I saw him come out with his staff.

"Let's see." I even heard Don Guillermo say that.

"Please stop this kind of shit Don Guillermo," I told him, I was about to cry.

"No. I'm not going to stop it yet," he said. "The game is already started. Just be quiet and just watch. This is fun."

I turned my gaze back to the second monitor. Wrum's crew entered. Don Guillermo came slightly closer to the monitor and pressed something close to it like a microphone.

"Finally and you've arrived at the warehouse I say," said Don Guillermo signaling to stop them all from walking and they just looked around. They seem to be looking for where the voice is coming from. "I want you to be the only one to continue walking into the room where I put them. Just do what I say Wrum or else I am going to kill her."

He was just fooling Wrum even though I wasn't there in the warehouse.

"Shut up Don Guillermo! You're going to die!"

I just sighed and looked back at the screen. I saw Wrum as he talked to his staff as if he was following Don Guillermo's wishes. Wrum's staff remained where they were.

Wrum started walking. He met Don Guillermo's men but he immediately shot them. He was close to my parent’s room and he was here that I started to double my nervousness.

Hopefully and I'm just mistaken when thinking right now. I can't stop myself from crying. Damn it.

"Look at Silic. Look at who's going to die," he said to me.

I could no longer answer what he was telling me because I was already in tears.

As Wrum continued to walk, Don Guillermo said through a microphone that he entered a room on his left side and he did just that. He encountered some of Don Guillermo's people, but he immediately caught up with them and killed them. He entered the room completely and then, there he saw my father and mother. He immediately put his gun in the back of it and then barely approached his father.

I didn't know what would happen next so I immediately averted my eyes. I just closed my eyes and continued to cry. Don Guillermo tells me a lot, but I don't listen anymore. I'm afraid when I look at the monitor again, my dad and Wrum are going to shoot.

This is so devil!

"Look Silic. They're going to kill each other." Don Guillermo said happily to me so I opened my eyes.

My father was already standing as they pointed Wrum a gun. I don’t know what happened the minute I wasn’t looking at the monitor. It immediately dawned on me. Pointing guns as if their tension with each other was heating up. My mother remains bound to the side while her lip still has masking tape.

I was shaken. "No. Please no." I just said. "Don't kill. You're not the ones fighting." I cried to myself.

But a moment later, I saw my father throw his gun on the floor and he seemed to be talking to Wrum. I also saw Wrum slowly lower his gun then I took a deep breath.

"What the hell!" cursed Don Guillermo. He pressed the side of the microphone then spoke. "Kill him Emmanuel if you don't want anything to happen to your daughter!" he said into the microphone.

I saw on the screen that Wrum pulled out his gun then he turned to the angle where the CCTV camera was placed. Moments later I saw him point his gun at it, and the next thing I know, the screen went black.
