Chapter 29: Chapter 29

29

Wrum bought me a dress. He gave it to me before I even went down earlier so this is what I am wearing today. A plain maroon dress with maroon plat shoes that matches my dress looks completely fine to me.

Maybe he plans to include me in his walk right now. So I knew that this dress will completely fine for me, I looked in the mirror, turning around, and concluded that this fits me.

I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror. After I got dressed, I put some light make-up onto my face, and then get out of the room. It is better to be prepared to know if we are going to a normal party or something like that.

Wrum and Wim are no longer in the living room. Maybe they came out first. I'm already here on the sofa. I roamed my gaze around and didn't see them, even hear their voices that are talking of something. Inside me feels that they go out inside the car or something. I am preparing for almost an hour. I got out and just saw Wrum’s van. Its engine was started.

"Wait, I thought you were going to take me too?!" I shouted as I tried to chase the van but it moved away immediately. "Darn it! I'm now dressed and they won't take me with them."

The van already disappeared from my sight, made me feel some disappointment. Hell, don't you ever talked to me. I already hate them. If they do not want to take me, then, they should have told me so I will not assume. They annoy me.

"Wrum will taste the greatest revenge I will do. They are so stupid and I would love to slap Wrum's face now!" I shouted and I do not care anymore if Wrum's other guard will hear me.

"What did you say?" a familiar voice came from behind me, so I turned around and saw Wrum in shock. Clearing my throat, there are a hundred percent sure that he hears everything I shouted.

"What a stupid horse!" I jumped in shocked.

Oh God, I am still hoping that he doesn't hear anything. I mean, it is so impossible that he didn't hear it, but I was still hoping to God.

"Do I look like a stupid horse?" he was seriously asked me. His face was emotionless and even serious

"Ah...you don't look like a horse. That's what they say when I startled." I explained to him. Maybe and he knew that thing. He will never look like a horse. It's okay, a handsome horse — Nah, let's cut that crap.

I swallowed as I immediately avoided looking at him. If that's what my mouth is saying.

"Did you hear anything?" I asked him, hoping he doesn't hear anything.

"I've been standing here before you shouted and I heard it all," he said. I just looked up at him. I'm dead now. Why did he even hear what I was saying? I wish I hadn't told that to myself. It's not my fault that he heard what I said. After all, it was his fault he heard that.

Should I say sorry to him? Because I said so nonsense.

I cleared my throat. "I thought you and Wim had already left with that van and leave," I explained to him. "And just forget what I'm saying. It was nothing." I told him and immediately turned away.

"You're already out there, Silic." I heard Wim say approaching where we are standing. "I thought you were still upstairs. I'm still waiting for you to come down."

My eyes couldn't turn to Wrum anymore, my mouth couldn't open up now to say something stupid again. Wim stood next to me, crossed his arms through his chest, and stared at Wrum and me.

"Did you do something to Wrum? Why is he like that when he looks at you?" he whispered to me. I couldn't turn to look for Wrum and see his deadly reaction now.

"I thought you were leaving. I was saying something and I didn't realize he was behind me." I explained to him. I even said what I said and it just made me laugh. Maybe there's nothing funny about what I said, weird.

"That's what we called 'an advance party' Silic. We have staff in advance in the area or the place we're going to just to make sure it's safe." he explained to us. "And if it's not safe, at least we have advance parties in advance. To clear it and to make it safe," he added.

"I see." Damn, it was just an advance party.

I avoided it again and just turned to his car that stopped in front of us. Wim came slightly closer to the car and immediately opened the backseat door then turned to Wrum.

"Let's go," said Wrum. He also turned his gaze to me. "Let's go," he repeated and I just nodded at what he said.

I remained in my position as Wrum walked to his car. Even before he finally passed me, he stopped walking. He turned his gaze slightly to me as he just tucked his hand in his pocket.

"I'm looking forward to your revenge on me," he said and he passed me completely. He immediately got into his car while I blinked a few times because of what he said.

What the hell. I am not deaf so I could not hear what he told me.

"Hey Silic, get in here!" Wim called me as he opens the door for me on the other side.

"Okay." I just said that and I immediately turned around in the back of the car then approached the door that Wim opened.

"Thank you," I told him and I immediately sat down next to Wrum. Wrum closed the back seat door. I didn't say I would take revenge on him. I only said that because I thought they had left me. Oh, God.

Turning my gaze to him, I saw it authoritatively sitting next to me. "I didn't mean to say that I am going to take revenge on you. It's just that... It's just that ... I mean ... I just said that—"

"You don't need to explain, stupid." he interrupted so I cannot continue what I am trying to say.

"I need to," I said.

"You don't need to," he said seriously.

"Okay fine," I told him and I immediately averted my eyes from him and settled down.

He's looking forward to my revenge? Well, I'm going to revenge him anyway. He even got me from the club without getting my permission, damn.
