Chapter 524: Chapter 524

Song Qiao gave a hum of acknowledgment and nodded her head. They were still staying in the presidential suite of the hotel, which had three rooms, just perfect for one person each.

Chu Munan immediately picked up the phone and called the front desk, instructing them to prepare a double-serving breakfast.

Song Qiao looked at Chu Munan instructing the front desk without any change in expression, though she didn’t stop him. After all, she had noticed that ever since she got pregnant, her appetite had increased significantly, especially since she was carrying twins, so keeping up with the nutrition was necessary.

When she came out from the bathroom after washing up, there was already a meal cart in the living room, and Chu Munan was placing the breakfast on the dining table. On seeing her come out, he waved at her and spoke in a gentle voice, "Come over, I had them warm a cup of milk for you. Drink it while it’s warm."

Song Qiao gave a sound of acknowledgment and walked straight to the dining table, taking the milk handed over by Chu Munan.

After taking a sip, Song Qiao looked up at the man beside her and asked, "Chu Munan, when are we going to Paris?"

Chu Munan gave a hum and explained, "In a couple of days. If we go there right now, Lu Jingchen might easily find clues when looking for you. We’ll wait for two days, then head there. Once you and Mu Shinian get settled in Paris, I’ll make another trip back to Beijing."

Song Qiao hummed a response.

Chu Munan reached out for a paper napkin and handed it to her, asking her to wipe the milk left at the corner of her mouth. His deep eyes intently gazed at the side of Song Qiao’s face, "After breakfast, how about strolling around Zurich? Though this city is not as romantic as Paris or as majestic as Italy, it’s also a very charming city."

Song Qiao had no objections. If she had to stay in the hotel all day, she couldn’t manage it. Despite feeling a bit lazy to move, her doctor had advised her to walk more often, ideally making it a daily practice.

Having twins in her belly was different than carrying just one; there were many more concerns to keep in mind.

"Cousin, I want to rest well in the hotel," Mu Shinian, sitting on the sofa and in a not very good mood, directly spoke to Song Qiao.

Song Qiao was startled for a moment, looking at Mu Shinian knowing that he might be feeling down because of An City and not having any familiar friends around, then she nodded her head.

"Then you rest well in the hotel. If you feel hungry, just call the front desk to order some food," she said.

Mu Shinian gave a hum and then turned his head back to continue watching the TV.

The streets of Zurich were relatively quiet. After leaving the hotel, they were right by the Limmat River. The Limmat River flows through the center of Zurich, dividing the city into East and West sides and splitting it into the new town and old town. Chu Munan chose a hotel located in the new town, just past the road from the Limmat River.

Since it was almost eleven in the morning, there weren’t many people on the streets, with only occasional vehicles passing by and quite a number of cars parked along the road. There were quite a few boats on the Limmat River.

The city indeed had its charm, making it easy for people to fall in love with it, and Song Qiao particularly enjoyed the quiet life, especially after becoming pregnant.

Chu Munan probably understood her desire for tranquility, hence he chose a hotel located in a quieter spot.

"I often used to hear the name Zurich before, and I only thought it was pleasant sounding, but I never imagined that the environment and lifestyle of the city would make it so easy to fall in love with." Song Qiao’s gaze fell on the boats in the Limmat River, as her 5.2 eyesight allowed her to see an elderly but robust man with white hair and blue eyes rowing a boat.

She really wanted to go for a boat ride, but considering her severe pregnancy nausea, she feared that getting on the boat might make her too sick because of the rocking motion, and that would be counterproductive. Read full story at 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹·𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲·𝗻𝗲𝘁

Following her gaze, Chu Munan saw the boats on the Limmat River and, looking down at Song Qiao with a smile, he spoke, "Do you want to take a boat ride? Shall we go?"

"Better not," Song Qiao quickly declined without a second thought.

"It’s okay to go for a bit," Chu Munan said as he took her hand that was resting by her side, "But before we go for the boat ride, let’s visit a mall first."
