The next day when she awoke, Hua Xiaomo tried to turn her face but felt something was off.

Yet, the moment he thought about how this first night of hers had been used by her to scheme against him, his mood couldn’t improve.

It wasn’t long before Yu Bao arrived. Seeing Qi Longbing, he too was taken aback; his boss’s handsome face looked particularly awful.

"President Qi... are you okay?" Yu Bao asked with concern. Qi Longbing had specifically instructed Yu Bao not to follow them last night.

Yu Bao quickly got out of the car and walked toward her. "Hua Xiaomo, President Qi sent me to take you to Banshan Villa for dinner."

Yu Bao looked at her scornfully. "Hua Xiaomo, I don’t know what’s going on between you and President Qi, but today, in a fit of anger, he shut down Loveboy Bar..."

"What? He shut down Loveboy Bar?" Hua Xiaomo was genuinely surprised. Thinking about Jess, the bar owner, if her business was really forced to close, it would be incredibly unjust to her.
