Chapter 76: Chapter 76

Andrea shook her head vigorously. "Actually, that's not the case. It's just that Sean is a very busy person. I heard he would be taking over his father's company, too, for the time being before his cousin comes to handle the business."

"That's not enough excuse for me to agree with you. I mean, doesn't he comes home at night?"

"It's either he comes back already exhausted or when we are in the middle of it, Pearl or Ruby interrupt with one thing or the other. Sometimes it's like they are doing it on purpose."

"Peach, you have to fix your marriage. This is not the definition of what a marriage should look like. What's a marriage without lovemaking?" She asked, raising her brows at Andrea. "Do I really have to teach you everything?"

Andrea pressed her lips together. Even she knew this deep down. She wouldn't say she was happy about the situation, and thinking about this trip made her feel like she could make great use of the opportunity.

"Sean is not only a gentleman but also virtuous, and I'm sure he's holding back because you aren't giving him the green light," Elena held her head. She felt like Andrea might drive her crazy eventually.

Andrea slowly bit her lip. "What's a green light?"

Elena massaged her temples before saying, "Green light means go ahead, silly. Andrea, I understand you aren't romantic, but I thought things would have changed now that you are in love again. Poor Mr. Wilson!"

Andrea pouted her lips. "You shouldn't be supporting him. I'm your best friend, and I don't think he needs any form of green light before getting intimate with his wife."

"And what if you are wrong? Mr. Wilson truly loves you, and he's always putting your feelings first before his needs. Can't you see that? You can't expect me to be oblivious to it. Anyways, I have a great idea that will bring you closer to Mr. Wilson."

"What's that?"

"Don't bother; you will get to find out about it eventually, but for now, my lips are sealed. Come on, let's go have breakfast," Elena said, rising to her feet.

...

"Guess what, guys?"

"Would you speak up or do we need to get on our knees and plead with you?"

"Josh rolled his eyes. "Queen is throwing a party at the Empire tonight," he announced, quivering all over with excitement.

"Wow! You mean The Queen of our school is throwing a party? Oh yes! We got to be there."

"I'm sure all the hot ladies are going to be there. I'm definitely not missing this party for anything in the world," Luke chimed in.

"Yo! Jace, you are coming with us, right?"

"I don't go to such parties. You guys should have fun," Jace said. He was about to take a step when he was pulled back by Josh.

"You must be kidding me, right? Look at me, Jace, you have to be at this party. Trust me; this one night will change your life. Giving your good looks, you will become the most popular guy in the college in no time."

Jace had a hesitant look on his face as they kept insisting he tag along. "Fine! But I will only be staying for a while," he warned sternly as he finally gave in to their request.

Josh and Luke exchanged glances briefly with a look of satisfaction on their faces.

While back at the hotel.

" Don't tell me you all are going to retire on your beds when it's still very early," Elena asked, with a hint of surprise on her face.

"What do you have in mind?" Ryan, who was standing right beside her, demanded frantically.

"Let's have some fun. How about we grab some drinks before we all go to sleep?" she suggested with a smirk on her face.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Lena. I don't think there's anything like alcohol tolerance when it comes to me," Andrea protested, waving her hand in dismissal of Elena's idea.

"That's not a bad idea. I think I might need a couple of drinks before I go to bed," Sean said, and Andrea turned to look at him.

"What about the twins?" Andrea asked.

"They are asleep. How about this? We have our drinks inside your hotel room so you won't have to worry about the twins' well-being."

"Come on," Elena held her hand and led her in, and so did the men trail behind them.

"I have ordered the drinks; they will be here anytime soon," Elena smiled.

Just then, they heard a knock on the door, and Elena sauntered over and opened the door, revealing a staff with bottles of wine.

"Excuse me, can I have a glass of orange juice?" Andrea said.

"Seriously? Orange juice? You must be kidding me," Elena scoffed loudly.

"Didn't I tell you I'm not in support of your plan?" Andrea rolled her eyes.

Shortly after, everyone began to drink while Elena kept looking at Andrea, who was busy laughing at the jokes Ryan was making.

She noticed Andrea wasn't paying attention, so she quickly opened her purse and brought out a pill, which she sneakily dropped into Andrea's drink.

...

At JJ entertainment, it was already dusk, but Jacob was still at his office. He stood by the window, watching the night view of the city, with his hand relaxed on the wall. His face was expressionless as memories of years ago flashed through his mind. His fist beside him immediately tightened.

All these years, he tried his best to bury the feelings at the depth of his heart. Anytime he recalled the incident, a killing intent from nowhere always surges up. One time he felt overwhelmed and almost took his life. Instead, luckily his parents came right on time.

Just then, his phone began ringing, and he didn't hesitate to pick up straight away. "What's the update?"

"Boss, we have found her. She's currently in our custody."

"Good. I'll be there in a bit."
