“Are you a Butler or a security man?” Jonah’s pride was hurt but he decided to play along.
“ Do you want to work in one of those houses?” He asked and the driver sighed. “ Of course I’ll be the happiest man ever. You see, being a taxi driver isn’t helping me at all” He said and Jonah Raised a brow. “ Why? It’s a Job” He said. “ You won’t understand. Can you believe I graduated with a first Honor degree?” He asked and Jonah was surprised. “ Wow! But how did you end up like this?” He asked him. “ Because I couldn’t Secure a Job, I have kids and wife to take care of that was why I took this job. Being a Butler in one of those houses would earn me a fortune, it will be a dream come true” He said smiling.
“ Oh, That’s life for you” Jonah said. He Relaxed his head backward and took in a deep breath. “ We are here” The driver said when he came to the front of Alfred’s house. “ Wow, so fast” Jonah said going out of the car. “ Yes, I’m the fastest driver ever” He said and Jonah Smiled. “ And the friendliest, wish to meet you again Soon” He handed him the money. “ You can keep the change” Jonah said and waved the driver bye.
He Pressed the bell button and in no time, The security man unlocked the gate. He was surprised to see Jonah after all those years.
“ Where have you been? We missed you a lot” Jonah Shook hand with him smiling. “ I missed you all and guess what? I’m back for Good” He said. “ Wow, that’s Wonderful. I’m So happy, The Boss is inside” He wanted to help Jonah with the bags but Jonah declined. As he stood in front of the door, Jonah took in a deep breath before he Entered Sitting room. He pushed the door open and the Scene he saw made him froze.
“ Grandma?” The bags in his hands fell to the floor. “ And here comes My Useless Grandson” Grandma said looking at him. “ Jonah?” Mandy who was coming down from the stairs called surprisingly. “ Mandy?” Jonah called too. “ Oh my God, it’s Jonah!” Mandy ran to him and jumped on him. “ It’s My favorite cousin, you’ve grown up” Jonah said hugging her. “ You’ve grown up too” Mandy said and they both laughed. “ When did you Returned? We missed you a lot” Mandy said happily. “ I missed you too and….”
“ Can you two keep it down?” Grandma Commanded them. “ Grandma” Jonah went closer to her and sat beside her on the sofa. “ I’m sorry grandma” He said tapping her hand softly. “ Jonah?” Alfred froze on the stairs. “ Big bro!” Jonah stood up from the Sofa. “ You are back? When?” He asked confusingly. “ 2 days ago” He said. “ 2 days ago?” Both Grandma and Mandy chorused. “ That’s it, you are more useless than I think” Grandma shook her head.
“ Grandma, Stop saying I’m useless. I’ve changed” He said “ I didn’t see any change. What useful kid would leave his work and family to go have fun in another country?” She asked him and he scratched his head. “ I’m Sorry, I promise I’ll not leave again” He said. “ Do I look like I care? I don’t care, You can leave and never return again” She said and Jonah sighed. “ Let’s Go” Alfred said turning back but Grandma stopped them. “ Where do you think you are taking him?” she asked Alfred who was ahead
“ To my room” He said pointing upstairs. “ Why?” She asked. “ To Discuss something with him” Alfred said and he regretted why he said that. “ Oh really? You want to scheme on how to send me out of the house right? I know you two very well. Now come back here and sit, no one is going to the room” Alfred and Jonah exchanged glances, they Sat down on the sofa looking at each other. “ So tell me, when did you return?” Grandma repeated.

“ Bella! Bella!” Mary ran inside the kitchen. “ What, why are you shouting my name?” Bella asked with a frown. “ He’s here” Mary said pointing to the door. “ Who?” She asked. “ Him, Jonah is here” Mary said and Bella’s eyes brightened up. “ Are you serious right now?” she asked and Mary nodded her head. “ Oh My God!” She covered her mouth and wanted to run out but Mary drew her back. “ Why?” She asked. “ Grandma is there and you will only put yourself in trouble if you go out now” She said. “ Oh but I want to see him” She said sadly. “ Don’t go there. What will you tell him if you go out there?” Mary asked and Bella looked at Abby who has been staring at her.
“ Uh, I don’t really know. Maybe I’ll Just welcome him and… I don’t know” She said sadly. “ That’s it, you should think of what to say to him when you meet him” Mary Said and shook her head. “ Who is he?” Abby asked. “ Her crush” Mary said and Mona chuckled. “ You have a crush on someone you haven’t even meet for once? Wonderful! You are buying a ticket for your heartbreak by yourself” She said and Bella Scoffed. “ What do you mean?” She asked her. “ Jonah isn’t your type, he’s loaded and what are you? You are just a maid in his brother’s house” Mona said and Abby nodded her head.
“ But that doesn’t mean he won’t love her, she’s also a girl and pretty” Abby said and Mary Smiled. “ Thanks for this Abby” Bella said. “ But he didn’t say he love her” Mona Reminded them. “ You Should be helping her instead of trying to make her feel worthless” Abby said to her and shook her head Disappointedly.
