“ I came to see you” Alfred Looked at the Cab driver and signaled him to go. “ I don’t have time for you now, you can come when I want to see you” She said trying to enter the cab again. “ I Need to talk to you, it’s urgent” Alfred said and she paused. “ Whatever it is, Make it quick and don’t waste my time” She said looking at him.
“ Can we go Inside?” He asked and she looked at her maid. “ Lead the way” They Entered inside the house and the Cab left. “ What is it you want to say that is urgent?” She asked After she sat on a chair in the garden. Alfred sat on the other chair facing her and he sighed. “ Grandma, I’m sorry for what I said to you the other day” He apologized. “ Go straight to the point” She ignored his apology. “ Grandma, I want you to stop threatening Vanessa and Mara” Alfred said and she Giggled. “ Why?” She raised a brow. “ Mara is my child” He said and she interrupted him.
“ And what gave you the impression that she’s your child? That girl is trying to force the innocent child on you and you are falling for it? I can’t believe this” Grandma said furiously. “ Grandma, Mara is my child. You should see her by yourself” Alfred argued.. “ I don’t want to see her, The earlier you stay away from them the Better. Because whatever I do to them, you should blame yourself” She stood up from the chair and waved to her maid who was sitting on the steps. “ You can now leave” She pointed to the gate.
“ This isn’t fair Grandma, All this wouldn’t be happening if my parents are still alive.” Alfred said sadly. She slowly turned to him and sat down on the chair. “ And if they are still alive, they would also listen to my instructions. Stay away from those girls or you will regret it” She Snarled at him. “ I won’t stay away from her, Grandma. I love her and besides, My daughter is with her. You are also a mother, how would you feel if your Baby’s Daddy doesn’t show to see his child? I Know it was an Accident but I never knew we could even have a child. Grandma, Leave Vanessa and Mara alone please! I don’t want you to involve yourself in things related to me again, you are hurting me so bad” Alfred said in Anger and Flounced away.
“ What Was that!” Grandma was Shocked. She looked at her maid who was now standing beside her “ I’m Sorry Ma’am but.. But I think The Boss is… he is…” She interrupted her. “ The Boss is what?” She yelled at her. “ Nothing, I’m Sorry” She apologized. “ How dare he said those words to me? How dare he!” She Said in Anger. Grandma was Angry, She couldn’t believe any of his Grandchildren or anyone from her family could utter those words to her, She was so pained that she decided not to go out again.
“ Go bring my medics” She said to the maid after she sat down on the floor. “ How dare he!” She banged the Table in front of her. “ This is the time that I need Mandy but that girl won’t come Here” Grandma sighed . She brought out her phone from the bag and dialed Mandy’s Number but she didn’t answer the call. “ What’s wrong with this girl” She dialed the number for the second time and Mandy answered it.
“ What do you want?” She asked grandma over the phone. “ Come here now” Grandma said and she Scoffed. “ I thought I told you I won’t ever come to your house again unless you move back to Alfred’s house?” She reminded her. “ How do you expect me to move in to the house of that Boy, he doesn’t even respect me again” Grandma said and Mandy chuckled. “ Alfred respects you a lot, stop saying that” She said.
“ He just left here now, girl. He told me words that I would never forget” She sighed. “ I won’t Move to that house and you should come now!” Grandma commanded. “ Then I won’t ever come to your house and don’t give me a call because I won’t answer it” Mandy Disconnected the call and turned off her phone. “ What’s wrong with all these kids” Grandma sighed.

“ Mandy, what are you doing outside?” Derek asked looking out from the window after Mandy had switched off the phone, She had went out from the house when her phone started ringing. “ Just receiving some fresh air” She lied. “ Okay wait for me there, I also want to receive fresh air” He said trying to close the window. “ Don’t bother coming out, I’ll come in now” She said and went inside the house. Vanessa was sitting in the dining area when Mandy Entered the room.
“ Sorry I took long” She said to Derek and he smiled. “ What are you still doing here?” Vanessa asked looking at Mandy. “ N.. nothing” She said “ Then it’s time for you to go” She pointed to the door and Mandy turned to Derek who was staring at Vanessa. “ But I don’t want to go now” She said. “ Yes, she doesn’t want to go now. Leave her alone” Derek said and Vanessa shook her head Disappointedly. “ I can’t believe that you could choose someone over me. I am your friend right from childhood and you only know her just few days ago. I’m Disappointed in you” Vanessa said to Derek.
“ But.. But I haven’t choose her over you” He defended himself and Vanessa raised a brow. “ Then that means you would soon choose her over me. Oh God, this is my life” She sighed and left to her room. “ Vanessa!” Derek called but she ignored him.
