“ She’s Pretty” He wanted to carry her to the bed but she opened her eyes immediately his hands touched her. “ What!” She moved back and stood upright. “ Nothing” Alfred said and she rolled her eyes. “ What do you want from me?” Vanessa asked him and he smiled. “ I want you to agree and marry me” He said. She Shook her head and sighed. “ I said I don’t want to marry you” She repeated but he only smiled.
“ Mummy, please marry Daddy” They turned to the door and saw Mara holding a teddy. She came inside the room and sat down on the bed. “ I don’t like him” Vanessa said to Mara. “ But I like him. Anyways, you will like him after marrying him. My Daddy is a nice guy” Mara said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ Who taught you this?” She asked Mara. “ Uncle Derek” She said. “ I made a mistake leaving you with Derek” Vanessa made a fist and bit her lips.
“ Oh wow and I thought he’s not a Good fit” Alfred smiled. “ Please Mummy, Marry Daddy” Mara said with tears in her eyes. “ But Baby, I don’t…..” She started crying and Vanessa sighed. “ Okay fine!” She looked at Alfred angrily. “ I’ll agree to marry you but on one condition” She said and his face lit up. Whatever Condition she mention, he knew he could do it. “ Name it” He said. “ Since you don’t want me to go look for my parents, you will be in charge of that now. You will find my parents and I will marry you” She said. “ Settled. Give me the details and you’ll see the result in few days” He said.
Mara who was crying suddenly stopped, She hugged Vanessa and the jumped on Alfred who in turn carried her up. He left the room with Mara and closed the door. Vanessa sighed, she picked up her phone which has been ringing since they started talking.
“ Hi Derek” She said exhaustingly. “ I’m Sorry Vanessa, it’s my fault that you couldn’t leave the city. I had no choice than tell him where you were” He said apologetically. “ It’s okay” Vanessa said and sighed. “ What is it? Did something happened?” Derek asked. “ Everything Happened, he brought me to his house and made me agreed to marry him” Vanessa said and he chuckled. “ And you agreed?” He asked. “ I have no choice and besides, he would he in charge of finding my parents from now” Vanessa said smiling. “ Awn, I’m so happy for you”.
“ You can come visit any time because I know he won’t allow me to live with you again” Vanessa said sadly. “ No problem, My girlfriend will move in with me tomorrow” He said and Vanessa laughed. “ Are you kidding me? Since when did you start dating?” She asked and he laughed. “ Just kidding, we’ll talk later” He ended the call and Vanessa sighed.
“ Calm down Vanessa,, everything will be alright” She patted her chest gently and smiled. “ He’ll find my parents, I’ll move in with them and won’t marry him” She laughed and quickly covered her mouth to avoid being heard outside.

8pm, Bella and Mary were inside the kitchen Making Dinner. They were so concentrated on cooking that they didn’t say a word to each other. Little did Bella know that Mary was still mad at her since she saw her in the same room with the love of her life. The kitchen was so silent as that was unlike them, Mary was always the first person to bring a topic when she’s so bored.
“ Did you hear the Boss is going to marry her?” Bella asked Mary who was slicing the onions. “ Who?” Mary asked pretending she didn’t knew who Bella was talking about. “ Mara’s Mum” She said and Mary nodded her head. “ Really? That’s Good” She said. Bella was surprised she dropped the spatula she was holding and moved closer to Mary.
“ what’s wrong?” She asked Mary “ Nothing. What did you see?” Mary asked and Bella sighed. “ You’ve been ignoring me and has refused to talk to me for days now. Is there something I Did to you that you don’t like? Please tell me” Bella said and Mary dropped the knife. “ It’s work time, your distracting me” She said and moved away from Bella.
“ Something is definitely wrong” She murmured, watching Mary sliced the onions. As Bella turned to leave, Mara Entered the kitchen holding a Lollipop. “ Hi Aunt Bella , hi Aunt Mary” She waved the lollipop. “ Hi Baby” Bella said smiling. “ Hi” Mary said coldly and Mara raised a brow. “ what’s wrong with Aunt Mary?” She asked Bella. “ I don’t know” Bella raised her shoulders.
“ Aunt Mary, are you alright?” Mara asked her and Mary smiled. “ Yes dear. Do you need anything?” She asked her. “ Not really, I was bored and decided to come meet you guys” She said and Bella sat her down on a chair. “ That’s so thoughtful of you” Said Mary. “ Where’s daddy and mummy?” Bella asked her and she sighed. “ Mummy is in her room studying some recipes while Daddy is in his room speaking on the phone” She said. “ Oh well, little Mara can keep us company”.
“ Baby, I’m just curious” Bella said and Mara raised up her head. “ What is that?” She asked. “ Is Daddy going to Marry Mummy?” She asked and Mary Chuckled. “ Yes, that’s Correct” Mara said smiling. “ wow! Are you Happy about that?” She asked again. “ of course I’m so Happy, My Mummy and Daddy will be together with me in one house” She licked her lollipop. “ I’m so Happy for you Baby” Bella said and Mara smiled.
“ What about you?” Mara asked Mary who didn’t say a word to her. Mary turned back, she smiled and nodded her head “ Nothing” She said. “ Why didn’t you congratulate me? Aren’t you happy that my Mummy and Daddy are getting married?” She asked suspiciously.
