“ I don’t even know her name” He tested his head on the Sofa’s handle and Smiled at the ceiling. “ She’s so pretty. But I’m Still confused on how everything happened. When did I get her pregnant? How? Where?” He sighed and shook his head. His Assistant was outside fuming with Anger. He couldn’t believe his Boss would go to that extent of visiting them.
“ Oh come on, this won’t turn Good and I know it” He stamped his feet on the ground and Entered the sitting room. He found his Boss on the sofa smiling like someone who just got married to the love of his life. He had Never seen his Boss in that situation before and he knew something wasn’t right.
“ He’s in Love with her” He said and closed his eyes tightly. “ What are you doing there?” Alfred who just turned to the door asked. He closed the Door behind him and walked inside the room. “ What took you long to come in?” He asked the Assistant who was trying to hide his anger. “ I was on call with my Sister” He lied. “ Okay” Alfred stood up from the sofa and turned to him.
“ Do you know her name?” He asked him and he raised a brow because he didn’t know whom he was referring to. “ Who?” The Assistant asked. “ Mara’s Mum” He said. “ Oh, I don’t know her name, Boss” He said. “ Okay” Alfred left the sitting room to his room smiling happily.
“ What does he want to do? Oh No” He sat down on the sofa and supported his head with his palm. He knew The Name but didn’t want to tell his boss, he once heard Mara saying her Mum name was Vanessa. “ If I tell him the name, he would smile because it’s a beautiful name” He stood up from the sofa when he saw Mary coming out of the kitchen.
“ Hi Mary” He waved to her but she scoffed at him and left the sitting room. He Followed her and grabbed her hand “ What’s happening?” He asked her. “ Release my hand, go and meet your girlfriend” She said pushing him away..” Girlfriend? I don’t have any girlfriend” He said and she Chuckled. “ Then what were you doing with Bella inside her room?” She asked him with her hands on her waist.
“ Nothing, but why do you care? Do you like me?” He teased and she burst in to laughter. “ Like you? For what reason will I like you?” She asked him laughing. “ But your face shows it all, you are jealous that I was with Bella in the room right?” He asked her. “ I’m so Busy right now and I don’t have your time” She tried to walked away and he grabbed her wrist again.
“ I know you like me and….” She turned to him. “ And what?” She asked him. “ You see, I’ve been waiting for this day to come Mary. The day that I will tell you what’s in my heart, I’ve been holding on to it for so long now. I like you Mary, I love you” He said in a serious and Romantic tone. Mary was shocked and surprised that the Assistant finally confessed his feelings towards her. “ I..I…” She ran away from him.
The Assistant was happy, he finally got the love of his life. Mary was a cute young lady and so lovely. He followed her to the Garden and was lucky she was there. Mary was picking Mangoes when the Assistant went there.
“ Do you love me?” He asked and she turned back.. She was shy but she has been waiting for that day to come. “ Yes I love you” She said shyly. “ Oh Mary, My sweet beautiful Mary. Thank you for loving a man like me even when I think no responsible girl would love me again because I’m getting old” He moved closer and held her hands.
“ You are as beautiful as the moon and….” She interrupted him. “ I know, I always hear that from guys. Now tell me what you were doing in Bella’s room” She said and he swallowed hard, he didn’t want to lie for his girl and he was scared Mary might not keep the secret if he tell Her.
“ Promise you won’t let a soul know about this” He said and Mary nodded her head. “ I promise” She said and he smiled. “ Mara is the Boss's Child” He said looking in to her eyes. “ Yes I know, but How?” She asked him. “ Now listen carefully, this is the secret I want you to keep” He looked around to make sure no one was there. “ Bella got a hold of the DNA result the Boss made the Doctor conduct on Mara. The Result turned out to be positive meaning she’s his daughter” He said and Mary gasped.
“ But How? Is he married?” She asked him. “ Of course not, I just think there’s a misunderstanding somewhere” He held her hand again. “ please do not breath this to any soul, Do not allow Bella to find out I told you everything my Love, I love you so much” He touched her face and Mary smiled shyly. “ I won’t tell anyone” She Assured him.
“ I trust you, I know you won’t tell anyone and that’s why I love you. Do you know why I fell in love with you since the day you came in to this house?” He asked her and she Nodded her head. “ No” She said. “ It’s because you are so pretty and kind. I love the way you talk, the way you walk and everything about you. You Are an Expert in cooking and cleaning too, I love you Mary” Mary blushed, She has never heard those words from anyone that pretended they love her.
“ I Love you too” She said smiling. “ I know right, Let’s pick the fruits together”
