“ I’m sorry miss but we will find her” The officer said to her. Derek knelt beside her as she cried her heart out. After some minutes, they left the station.

“ Something doesn’t seem right” Derek said and Vanessa turned to him. She sniffed and nodded her head “ Yes” She said and he paused.

“ Vanessa, don’t you think Mara followed someone?” He asked and Vanessa Chuckled. “ Who? She don’t even know anyone” She said and continued walking.

“ Didn’t you see anything odd when you went out of the house to look for Vanessa yesterday?” Derek asked and Vanessa Paused. She did saw a car the previous day and it was a familiar car but she paid no attention to it.

“ Yes I saw a car that looks familiar” She said. “ Who do you think owns the car?” Derek asked and Vanessa’s eyes opened widely. “ The Billionaire she Called her Daddy! Oh no! No!”

“ Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Derek asked and Vanessa nodded her head. “ Yes, He kidnaped my Mara” She started running back to the station and Derek ran after her.

“ Excuse me sir, I think I know who kidnaped my Daughter” Vanessa said to the officer immediately she entered the station. “ And who are you suspecting?” He asked looking at her Seriously.

“ It’s The President of GI conglomerate” Vanessa said and the officer Chuckled. “ Did you take something before coming in?” He asked and Vanessa became confused. “ What do you mean?” She asked him.

“ Young lady, Don’t waste my time here. How can someone from that family kidnap a little kid? Stop playing around” He turned to leave and Vanessa blocked his way.

“ It’s Him, I swear it’s him. My Baby is with him, I saw his car in the estate yesterday when my Daughter went missing” Vanessa said with tears in her eyes. “ Then why didn’t you check the car yesterday?” He asked her but Vanessa didn’t know what to say.

“ As you can see, I have a lot of works to do. You can go somewhere to Report this but kind you, No one will believe you” He said and left them.

Derek held her hand and took her out of the station, Vanessa was so dumfounded. They were the police and they had to investigate that but they didn’t believe her.

“ It’s all my fault” Vanessa cried and Derek hugged her. “ Don’t cry, we’ll get her back” He said and Vanessa nodded her head.

“ But how did he knew where I live?” Vanessa asked Derek as they walked down the street. “ Who knows, maybe they trailed you. But why would he kidnaped Mara? She’s just a little girl” Derek wondered, he couldn’t just believe all that was happening.

“ Who knows, maybe it’s because Mara is trying to tarnish his image. If anything happens to my baby, I’ll never forgive myself” Vanessa sighed.

“ what if that car only look like his? What if it was someone else that took Mara?” Derek asked and Vanessa scoffed. “ What are you trying to imply?” She asked him and he paused.

“ You said you saw Tiana in the store yesterday right?” Derek asked and Vanessa nodded her head. “ Yes I saw her and we had a fight” She chipped in. “ What if she’s the one that took Mara? Come to think of it, the officer might be saying the truth. What would the President of GI conglomerate do with a little kid?” Derek was beginning to get confused by everything.

“ Whoever took my Daughter among them, I’ll find them. But where does Tiana lives? I don’t even have her number again” Vanessa sat on a bench in the bus stop and checked the watch on her wrist.

“ it’s already 12pm, I just hope my girl is alright” She prayed. “ Where should we go from here?” Derek asked her and she sighed. “ I don’t Know, Derek. I don’t know what next to do” She wanted to cry but controlled it.

12:30pm, Alfred left the house together with Mara. His Assistant sat in the passenger seat while Alfred and Mara sat in the back seat. Earlier on, Alfred had called the driver and had told him where they would be going After the Doctor had left.

His Assistant was so curious to know where they were going to and he asked Alfred but got no response. He thought Alfred couldn’t have heard him when he asked as he was playing with Mara by then.

In just some hours, he saw the soft side of his Boss. His Boss that doesn’t play with kids, He doesn’t even play with Amy the way he did with Mara.

“ What are you thinking about?” Alfred said interrupting The Assistant who was so lost in thought. He turned his head back a little and looked at the front again. “ it’s Nothing” He said and Alfred Chuckled.

He knew there was something His Assistant wanted to ask, he heard him when he asked him where they were going but he pretended he didn’t hear him.

“ I’m Sorry to invade in to your privacy, but I’m curious about something” The Assistant said and Mara started laughing. “ What?” He asked her.

“ I thought you said you have no Question” She said Laughing. “ Of course I don’t, it just popped in to my head right now” The Assistant rolled his eyes, he was already getting fed up with Mara’s attitude.

“ Then Don’t ask my Daddy again, You will know when we arrived there” She Held Alfred arms and rested her head on it. “ But he’s my Boss and it’s my responsibility to know where we are going” He Argued.

“ And he’s my Daddy, he doesn’t have to tell you where we are going since I’m here”. The Driver couldn’t help but Giggled, Mara and the Assistant were so funny that he couldn’t even hold his laughter.
