“ She saw the cops Taking them away and she asked me why. You know Vanessa was an orphan right?” He asked and Jonah Nodded his head. “ Yes” He said. “ Vanessa isn’t an orphan. I investigated for her parents too and found out her Mum’s death is connected to my parents death” He Said pitifully. “ Oh No, Did you tell her?” He asked and Alfred nodded his head. “ Yes, I made a very big mistake”. “ You did what you ought to do. She will find out someday about this even if you didn’t tell her” Jonah told him and he sighed. “ Do you think Vanessa would want to be with me After this?” He asked and Jonah Smiled. “ She will” He patted him on the arm.

The next day, Vanessa and Derek left the house in search of Vanessa’s Father. Derek Carried Mara on his arm as the walked out of the estate to find a Taxi. As soon as they stepped out of the estate, They found a taxi and Derek gave him the Address. He sat in the front while Vanessa and Mara sat at the back. Derek tried to engage Vanessa in a conversation but she was so lost in thought that She didn’t know he was talking to her.
“ Where are we going?” Mara asked Derek and he smiled. “ Somewhere where you will meet someone” He said and Mara Moved closer to him “ To see Daddy?” She asked. “ No, Mummy’s Daddy” He said and she Scoffed. “ But we’ve seen him before and he’s not nice” She said. “ No, not him. We found your Mummy’s real Dad” He said and Mara smiled. “ Wow, Can’t wait to meet him” She sat back and looked at Vanessa who was still thinking.
Few minutes later, They arrived at the Address. Vanessa got put of the car and Derek Carried Mara again. Mara looked around the Area, it looked so familiar. Vanessa led the way, she stopped in front of a gate with the same number On the Paper. She took a deep breath before knocking on the gate. Few seconds later, A lady opened the door and it shocked Derek.
“ Isn’t this Nala?” He asked Surprisingly. “ I told you we’ve Came here before” Mara said looking at Nala. “ What are you guys doing here? I thought we warned you not to ever come here again” Nala said but Vanessa ignored her. She pushed Nala out of her way and made her way inside the house. Derek followed her Inside, he was still confused about the whole thing. “ Come back here, none of us wants to see you” Nala Went after them. They Entered the sitting room, Her Adoptive parents were in the sitting room as usual. Dad was sitting on a couch reading a newspaper while Mum was reading a Never.
“ What are you doing here? Why did you let them in?” Mum asked Nala Who was looking so angry. “ I tried to stop them but she pushed me out of the way” She pointed at Vanessa. We should be looking for your Father” Derek said confusingly. “ That is My Father” She pointed at him. He dropped The newspaper from his face looking at Vanessa.
“ Yes but not your real father” Derek said. “ No, He’s my real Father” She said in tears. “ Are you out of your mind? We adopted you” Mum aid furiously. “ No, She’s right. Vanessa is my biological daughter” His wife and Nala turned to him with shocked on this faces. “ Please stop playing with my feelings. Vanessa isn’t Your Daughter, Nala is” Mum said and he repeated what he said. “ Vanessa is my Daughter” He repeated. Vanessa moved closer to him, she stood in front of him “ Why did you allow my Mum to die?” She asked him and he sighed. “ Answer me!” She yelled at him.
“ Vanessa…” She Cut him off. “ Answer me!” She Shouted at him. “ Stop shouting at my Father!” Nala yelled at her. “ Yes, He’s your father because I don’t have anything to do with a man that pretended he didn’t know me. The man that knew I was his biological daughter but chased me out of the house when he found out I was pregnant. “ I don’t deserve a father like you, You’ve failed me.” She said and Flounced out of the house and Derek ran after her. “ Tell me the truth” Mum said and he sighed. “ Everything you heard right now is the truth” He stood up from the couch and went to the room. “ Mum! What have I done?” Nala asked With tears in her eyes. “ You did the right thing Nala, don’t blame yourself” Mum said and she nodded her head. “ No Mum, I did an awful thing. How would I even think of doing that to her that day? Now she will end up with a Billionaire, The richest Man in this city” Nala burst in to tears.
“ I hate myself for doing this, I would have been the one Married to a Billionaire not Him. I would have entered that took instead of pushing her inside” She Cried so hard that she started rolling on the carpet. “ Yes you are right. I wouldn’t have Advised you to do that. Oh God, this isn’t your fault alone. This is also my fault. Oh come on” Mum said Angrily. “ But how would she be my biological Sister? Mum, do you think I should go apologize to her so that I can live together with her?
