“ Maybe he’s on his way home” The Assistant said. “ I don’t think so” Alfred said looking at the streets. Suddenly, his phone started ringing and he picked up the phone thinking it was Jonah. “ Alfred! Come home now! Grandma!” He heard a girl crying on the phone and when he checked the caller, it was Mandy. She ended the call before he could say a word.

“ Home now, let’s go home!” He said Frustratingly. “ What Happened at home?” The Assistant asked. “ It’s Grandma, something happened to Grandma” He said. “ Oh No!” The Assistant Exclaimed. He increased the speed of the car and in no time, they were home. The girls were in the sitting room looking upstairs and Abby was crying. “ Where’s Grandma?” Alfred asked and they pointed to his room.

He ran upstairs with the Assistant Following him and they heard Mandy’s voice from his room. He opened the door and found Grandma lying on the floor with Mandy holding her head to her lap.

“ What Happened to her?” He asked and Mandy nodded her head crying. “ I don’t Know, I returned home and found her this way” She cried. “ Have you called the Ambulance?” He asked and Mandy nodded her head again. “ Yes” She said and they heard the Siren of the Ambulance inside the house. “ Quick, let’s take her out” Alfred Carried Grandma on his arms and Hurried down the stairs. He was scared, scared of losing Grandma too.

Alfred Entered the Ambulance with Grandma and Mandy drove with The Assistant behind them. They arrived at the hospital in not time and Grandma was taken to the emergency unit and placed on oxygen. Alfred supported his head with hands as he sat on a chair in front of the emergency unit. His head was aching him so bad as if it was going to uproot from his neck.

“ I saw this beside her when I entered” Alfred lifted up his head and found Mandy Holding a file. “ Tell me it isn’t true” She said crying. She knelt in front of him and held one of his hand “ Alfred, please Tell me this isn’t true” Mandy pleaded. He looked at the file in her hand and sighed. He wondered how careless he was that Grandma found that file and now, all that happened. “ Mandy I…” She cut him off. “ Please Tell me it isn’t true” She pleaded. “ I’m Sorry” He said and she held on to him tightly. “ Please Don’t do anything to him, he’s the only one I got left” She cried.

“ I’m Sorry Mandy” Alfred tapped her Back softly. He tried to make her stop crying but Mandy wouldn’t stop crying. They thought it was because of Grandma but it was for something else that she was crying. “ Mandy please, don’t say anything about this to Anyone including your Dad” Alfred pleaded. “ But..” He interrupted her. “ I’ll Handle this okay?” He asked and she nodded her head. He took the file from her and went out of the emergency unit to where his car was parked.

He leaned on the car and took in a deep breath. He looked at the file again and sighed. “ This wouldn’t have Happened if I hid you very well?” He Exhaled. “ What Should I do now that Grandma Have seen this?” He threw the file inside the car through the open window and Brought out his phone. He dialed Jonah’s Number but his phone was switched off. “ Oh God, Jonah please”

8pm, Jonah returned back to the house. He was surprised that No one was in the house except Mona and the security man.

“ Why is the house so empty, where’s Everyone?” He asked her and she sighed. “ Grandma was taken to the hospital in the morning” She said. “ The Boss and Ma’am Mandy tried calling you but your phone was off” She said sadly. “ What are you doing here alone? You should be in the hospital” He said. “ I came back minutes ago” She said and Jonah sighed. “ What Happened to your face, Did you cry?” Mona asked worriedly. “ No I didn’t” He said. “ But you look so sad and your eyes are so red. What happened to you, where have you been?” She asked him again.

Jonah sat down on the sofa, He relaxed his head backward and She sat beside him. She rested her head on his chest and started unbuttoning his Shirt.

“ You don’t have to feel sad anymore because I’m always here to make you happy” She ran her hand inside his shirt and start rubbing his chest. Jonah closed his eyes, he was enjoying that moment and wished it wouldn’t end but something stroke his head. He pushed her hand away and sprang up. “ What is it?” Mona asked standing up. “ This is so wrong of you” He said and left the house in hurry. Mona was confused as she watched him leave the house.

Jonah arrived at the hospital, no one has to tell him which hospital it was because they only had one hospital where their family always attend.. He saw the girls coming out of the reception and he ran to him.

“ Where’s Grandma?” He asked. “ She’s In the Emergency room” Abby said. Jonah Ran inside leaving them Confused. “ He didn’t Come with his car?” Abby asked. “ No, He haven’t Buy a car. He sold all his cars when he was leaving this country Years ago” Mary said. “ Oh Poor him, he ran all the way here! They love their Grandma despite what she’s doing to them” Bella said with tears in her eyes. “ Let’s Go home” Mary held Bella’s hand and they left the hospital.

Jonah Ran inside the emergency room, Grandma was on oxygen and he held her hand crying.

“ Grandma, please wake up. You can’t leave us now” He cried.
