Alexis's POV;
"Wake up!!!" I hear a familiar voice scream.
"No, I don't wanna go to school today" i say covering my face.
"Why not?"
"Because everyone's gonna laugh at me" and I turn in the opposite direction.
"That is exactly why you will go to school,to show them how strong you are and I'm gonna dress you up so good that they wished that you were theirs" Sophie tried to convince me.
And with that I took a bath and Sophie did my hair and dressed me up in a chic way and then she did my makeup and looking at the mirror, I felt so confident, so beautiful and for a second I thought it was Kyle's loss not having me because I'm so damn great.
Sophie took me to school in her boyfriend's car and she urged me to make an entrance which i did of course and I walked into the halls swaying my hips from left to right,my confidence was at its peak.
I went to my locker to check my first class and Jazz came up to me.
"Hey girl, sorry I couldn't be a good best friend yesterday, I just didn't feel good." She looked down at her shoes feeling embarrassed.
"It's fine, I'm not mad at you, just kyle" I explained.
"Speaking of kyle, I just realized there's a lot you haven't told me." she teased.
"Okay then lunch in the Garden?"
"Lunch in the garden." She repeated and we hugged .
I had Biology first period, and I started to make my way to class
"Hey girl!!!!!!" I heard someone scream and i turn back and see Dylan, a star athlete.
"Me?" I ask and he nodded and came to meet me.
"I'm having a party later today, would you....?"
"Alexis"
"Right, Alexis, would you be able to make it?"
"I don't know, but I'll try" I smile.
"Great, I'll be expecting you, please dress to impress." He smirked and i laughed.
"Sure will, and now i need to get to class"
"See you around, Alexis"
He's hot.
But no more boys, I've had enough of them, I can't go getting my heart broken all the time.
When the lunch bell went off, I take my bag from the chemistry lab locker and made my way to my locker to drop my bag and also decided to get Andy.
I went to Andy's locker to fetch him and we went to the cafeteria to get our lunch trays and I found kyle staring at me, I brushed it off and we both made our way to the garden and saw a guy with blonde hair and a girl with blonde hair as we got closer, it was Ashton, Kyle's friend kissing Jasmine!?
When we got to the bench i stared at them and Andy cleared his throat.
"What's going on here?" My eyes knitted in confusion.
"I'm gonna go now..." Ashton stuttered and left.
I guess that's what him and kyle have in common.
"I think there's something that Jasmine would like to tell us" I teased and she started blushing.
"Are you blushing?!" Andy looked at her face surprised and laughing.
"Are you two dating?" I asked curiosly
"No..we...we're just friends"
"Of course you guys are just friends, friends that kiss all the time!" Andy teased.
"Shut up!" she told him.
"So guys i think you deserve an explanation for what happened in the cafeteria the other day" i said with my serious voice and they both looked at each other
"So, I'll give the summary, I liked kyle at a point and he told me he liked me back and he asked me out and I said yes but when i wanted to make the relationship public he did what happened yesterday, hence the cafeteria incident yesterday. Long story short, he betrayed me and broke my heart." I summarised like it wasn't a big deal but my heart felt pain.
"Kyle's a jerk!" Andy said immediately.
"Wow you you've been dating in secret? That's just wow!" Jasmine said frowning kind of.
Probably upset as to what kyle did.
"We're so sorry." They said and hugged me tightly.
"With how you look, it's hard to believe you just went through a breakup." Jasmine teased and i laughed.
"So guys, Dylan invited me to a party tonight and I was wondering if you guys would like to go with me?"
"Yes!" Jasmine replied instantly.
"Yes." Andy said afterwards
"I will pick up Andy and we will both come to your house to fetch you." Jasmine said and Andy and i both agreed
"Wait, Dylan himself invited you?" Jasmine asked clearing just sinking in What i had just said
I hummed in response and she looked quite surprised, "change of plans, we're picking you up while myself and Lexi here get ready at my house." she pointed at Andy.
"It's not a big deal, i can dress by myself"
"I don't doubt it baby" she examined my outfit, "so?" I wanted to confirm.
"We're going shopping baby girl, wait for me immediately after school." She squealed and seeing how much of an option i don't have,i gave into her demand and with that we all went into school and into our various classes
During my social studies class,Miss Venus was talking about rights and i really didn't pay attention to the class much, my head was at my last encounter with kyle
Maybe this party was needed after all
I was sk deeo im thought,i didn't realize i gave myself a facepalm and a sigh escaped my lips
"Miss Coleman,am i boring you?" Miss Venus asked,i shook my head,"better" she responded
I need to put my head in the game,forget kyle already heart,what else do you want,he betrayed you,like why can't you just forget him
The bell rang and everyone started exiting the class,i packed up my books and i started walking,but i was stopped by the door by Miss Venus
"Alexis,you weren't paying attention in class,that is so unlike you, is something wrong?" She asked looking concerned
"Nothing,I've just been tired alot recently" i lied
"Okay then get some rest and be well before our next class,okay?" She smiled,"okay" i smiled
After school i walked to the parking lot to wait beside Jasmine's car and i took out my phone and the picture kyle took of me unaware popped up and i had a bittersweet feeling and started missing kyle
I noticed two people pass me,and i raised my head to look and it was Christina running after kyle,seems like they were arguing because kyle stormed off,she saw me and glared at me,rolling my eyes i turn to the car and Jasmine was approaching the car and she was walking with Ashton.
They approached the car and Ashton waved at me while Ashton kissed Jasmine
Oh wow.
"Hey girl" Jasmine said excitement clear in her voice.
"Looks like someone's happy" i smiled
"Yeah"she chuckled
"I'm happy for you girl,it's been long since i saw that beautiful smile of yours,that wide"
"that's because I'm happy,Ash is great"
I smiled as she started the car,and we drove off to the mall. Jasmine played love songs all through the ride and i was happy she was happy even if my love life was in shambles
We sang along to Best Part by Daniel Ceasar as she pulled into the mall and parked in her favorite spot. We got down and we went to Forever 21 so jasmine could buy her outfit,she tried on a couple of jeans but only selected the one that made her ass look bigger and then i started looking around to find my own outfit,i saw a nice leather jacket and a black jeans and jasmine paid for it and after which we went to Jasmine's house. Her house was a mansion with many rooms,modern furnitures and artwork and tons of family potraits,she was an only child and therefore she got everything she wanted,but her parents got divorced wen she was younger and her dad left the house for her and her mother and switches between her parents because they shared custody
"Marthaaaaa" Jasmine called her maid
"what do you need ma'am? Her maid answered immediately
"I want chips and 2 bottles of cola to my room immediately" she ordered
"Right away miss" Martha replied and left the room
"Let us go to my bedroom" she squeled,and i hummed
We went up the elegant and glass stairs,which shine at day to a purple colored room with a cotton candy bedsheet and a pink fluffy mat
I fell on the bed because i was tired and so did Jasmine
"I don't chips will cut it" i said holding my tummy
"I think you're right,but we're going to a party so we need as little food as possible" she pat her stomach
Then suddenly there was a knock on the door, "comd in" Jazz screamed and Martha came in with a tray containing a bowl of chips and 2 bottle cokes and i started digging in.
After finishing what was on our tray,jasmine went and took a bath and so did i,it was already past six so we started dressing up
Jasmine wore her denim jacket and a bra,while i wore my leather jacket and a tiny top inside and boots. We did a little bit of makeup and did our hair,but nothing too fancy.
I texted Andy that wearing were done and we were coming to get him and we drove off to Andy's house, which he was just coming out of
Andy looked far from a nerd,he didn't wear his glasses nor did he put on suspenders,his green eyes noticeable because of his white polo. I just realized Andy was definitely a catch
He would be my option if i wasn't still hung up on Kyle
