Alexis's POV;

"Wake up sleepyhead" i hear a voice and u turn the opposite direction of the noise

"You're late" i hear a voice say and i still didn't care because i wanted to sleep

"I'm already late so what's the use" i say using my duvet to cover my head

"Jazz couldn't come today,her dad dropped her off,so you have to go to the bus stop right now" and upon hearing this my brain woke up and became aware of my surroundings,the voice was Sophie's

I rushed everything and upon reaching the bus stop i see the school bus go already,what a great start to my day,and i began to walk

I walked from my house to half the road and i was tired,maybe jazz was right i do need to get in shape and i start walking again and i see a black car,looking like a state security car and i began to walk faster and the car moved as well and i walked faster and the car added a little bit of acceleration and met me,i thought i was going to get kidnapped and wanted to start running until i hear someone call my name,i turned around and saw kyle waving at me

I wonder why I always have to embarrass myself in front of him

He walked over to me and asked why i was walking to school

"I missed the bus,and i had to get to schook one way or the other right?" was my reply

"Then let's go together,I was on my way there anyway"

I smiled and followed him to the car,the white interior was so beautiful and luxurious,the glasses were tinted and he had a driver and the driver was on uniform

"Good morning ma'am" i hear the driver say,his hand never leaving the steering wheel

"Good morning sir" i replied him,because i didn't know what to say

And in 15 minutes we were already in school we got out the car and people stopped and starred in envy and if looks could kill,I'm pretty sure i would be dead right now.

Walking into the hallway and everyone were whispering,i did hear a few saying

"i thought she was a bookworm,why's she seducing kyle"

"I should become a nerd as well,so i can get his attention"

I shook it all off and continued with life,after everything,lunch was free and easy going,except that Ashton started sitting us more often and trying to talk to jazz more but she ignores him

I went to the bathroom to wash my face and while j was in the bathroom Christina came and she accompanied by Caitlin and Charlotte,i knew this meant trouble

"you little bitch" Christina spat

"What were you doing with kyle?" Caitlin added

"You want to steak him away from Christy?" Charlotte completed

"Um..would you guys excuse me,i need to leave" i said walking towards the door but i stopped when they blocked the door and locked it

"What do you guys want?" I asked shouting

"I want you to leave my boyfriend alone"

"I want you to leave Springfield High

"I want you to crawl into a hole and die"

"The list goes on,do you want to hear?"

"Stop it,Christina,what did i do to you?

Why do you hate me?"

"After wanting to seduce my boyfriend you have the nerve to ask" she replied

"You and your parasitic best friend want to take kyle away from me,but i won't let you guys do that" she continued

"Kyle wouldn't even like you,like have you seen yourself?" She said pulling me to the mirror

"You're ugly"

"You're fat"

"You're not his type"

"You are so damn poor"

"He wouldn't even use you as a one night stand"

"He doesn't like you,so know what you're doing bitch cause he's all mine"

She said and finally said "I'm done here girls,let's go" and left with her bimbos

I stayed in the bathroom and cried awhile,but i realized that there wasn't any use,i ended up getting used to clean my own tears and i walked out the bathroom door like nothing happened

The classes i missed were just the minor classes thank God,but either ways though i still missed classes.

My perfect attendance records were bound to be ruined this semester

I didn't stay for rehearsal and i didn't want to go home so i went to the cafè and stayed on the empty seat and i spent the time reading Shakespeare and it was almost time for time for school to close,i hope they wouldn't get worried about me

I was sipping my tea,when i heard a scream,a feminine scream that is and looked up to see jazz,she was angry i could tell

"How come you left school?" She asked

"Nothing i didn't feel good" i replied

She looked at my face and bluntly said "you're lying" and i am sitting down here shook

"What happened,Tell me Lexi" she asked with concern

I didn't respond because i didn't know where to start from

"Was it Christina?" She looked at me closely and wanted to examine my expression and i sighed

"So it was Christina,that bitch,what did she tell you?" Jazz said,she should be a detective,she was good at these types of things

"The usual" i confessed

"Leave her alone,she's not worth it,you had a bad day and you're drinking tea? What are you,ninety?" She asked teasingly

"Keep quiet Jasmine" i laughed

"Let's go for ice cream"

"Jazz you're crazy,it's almost 6"

"So? It's never too late for ice cream"

"Okay...but only because i had a terrible day"

Jasmine laughed and pulled me into arms and we both laughed. We left the café and went to an ice cream parlor and we ordered and had our ice creams

"Ugh.....brain freeze"  jazz screamed

And we laughed,we took selfies,just didn't like any because i looked malnourished kind of and Jasmine,well she looked flawless in all. We used Jasmine's phone because it was an iPhone 7 and she transferred some of the pictures to me,and she turned one of the pictures to her lock screen

In between the laughing and the ice cream i realized that Jasmine was one of the most important people in my life and i wouldn't want to lose her for anything

We had alot of fun and she kept telling her jokes and they were not funny but her effort was so i laughed to keep encouraging her and while we were laughing,i realized how much i loved having her around me. We were laughing so hard people kept looking at us,it was getting late already and we left,she dropped me at home and i hugged her so tight and went inside

"Lexy how was it?" Sophie asked

"Good,very good"

"Glad you had fun" she said came from behind and started tickling me it was funny because i am a very ticklish person so i kept on laughing and i tried running away but i couldn't,so i tried to fight back by tickling her as well and we both laughed and it felt really nice

We fell on the couch and because we were tickling each other we rolled ti the ground and we didn't even notjce when mom came in

"So my girls are having this much fun without me?" She said with a devious smile and before we could reply she took a can of water and started splashing us and we tried to run but she followed us and ran with us and we were all laughing because this was the first time in years we all had fun together.

Mom's smile and laughter was a genuine one and not the type she gave usually to make me and sophie feel better,this was a free and light smile,her face was lightened up and glowing,she looked so beautiful,it was like at that moment she forgot all our problems and was focused on us

"That's enough" mom said laughing obviously getting tired of running around

We all laughed and i realized my play was tomorrow

"Let's all watch a movie,okay?" Sophie suggested

"I'm tired and i need to wake up early" mom said

"and i have a play tomorrow and i need to go through my lines" i said

"that's great lexyy" sophie said

"I'm sorry i wouldn't be able to come,it's still my first month working there,i don't want them thinking I'm incompetent" mom said,guilt clear in her voice

"It's fine mom,you don't have to come" i said smiling

"Yeah mom,besides I'll be there for the two of us" Sophie contributed

"you're coming?" I asked excited

"Well duh" she smiled and i hugged her and mom joined in.

We all had dinner and went to bed,the house that was dead before resurrected today,tonight and it felt so nice,i stayed up late kinda because i was going through my lines and i wanted it to be perfect now more than ever because now Sophie was attending it and i had to make her proud

I sat down reminiscing on how today went,from kyle taking me to school,to Christina and her statements,to jazz and our ice cream and the fun times the family had together

For the first time ever i actually felt happy that Christina humiliated me because if she didn't i wouldn't have had ice cream and maybe we wouldn't have our fun times today so indirectly i have to thank Christina for that

Before going to sleep i changed my lock screen wallpaper to a picture of jazz and myself
