Chapter 33: Chapter 33
“That stupid idiot” I kept on mumbling to myself. How dare he have me locked up within my own house with nothing to do but sit and worry about my brothers safety!
I opened the oven taking out the ninth batch of chocolate chip cookies I've baked so far including two batch of cinnamon roll, three batches of brownies, one chocolate sponge cake and not to mention twenty six cupcakes!
I have been calling Kristrin's phone from nine in the morning with no success. Mom and Dad aren't picking up either after my seventh call to them within the last hour asking whether or not they've found Antonio. I guess they knew what I was calling about, so the answer would've been the same as before.
It was now twelve noon and no one had called to let me know what was the latest going on. Even Maria was allowed to go out except me. Unbelievable.
Was I that stupid to do something so irrational that they had to put me on lock down. Starting tomorrow I'll be home schooled was Maria being home schooled? No!
I gave up trying to escape when I saw that, there was about fifteen guards stationed outside my house.
When I woke up at 7:30 this morning, there was only one person at home and that was Vicky. The only person that seemed to care.
Sigh
“Anna I think it's time you left the kitchen am starting to get a bit worried about you?” Vicky walked in with a worried expression on her face.
“I can't, it's all my fault Antonio's gone missing and I'm stuck here with nothing to do but pray and hope he's ok” I told her.
“Honey it's not your fault, I was the one that watching over you guys and I failed in protecting Antonio” she responded back and I hugged her knowing we only had each other for support.
“How could you say that Vicky, it's not your fault so stop blaming yourself for it, it's not as though you knew what was going to happen”
“Probably not but I should've been paying more attention to you guys, what if something bad was to ever happen to him I'd never forgive myself” she finished with shaky breath.
“It's gonna be ok, Antonio's a strong boy, he'll definitely make it through” I sighed.
“Yeah I know”
My phone began to ring and I sighed in relief when I saw Dad's name across the screen, I quickly answered and placed the phone to my ear.
“Hello baby girl”
“Dad cut the chit chat, what's going on? Why haven't anyone contacted me? Did you find Antonio?" I rushed out quickly.
“Sadly...no but we do have a lead on the case, try not to worry too much hun, you don't want to have a headache now do you?”
“Dad I care more about Antonio and less about a headache, please bring Antonio back home safely it's been one whole day” I stressed.
“I will sweety, I will”
“Dad....... have you heard from Kristin?” I whispered blushing furiously, it was a lucky thing he couldn't see me.
“Huh yes he's doing fine” he rushed out too quickly and hung up. What's with the rush?.
It was now after 3:30pm and I was desperate to hear anything from anyone. Maria came walking through the door and I sighed with relief.
“Maria, thank God your home, I thought I was going crazy, how was school today” I questioned hoping to distract myself from the matter at hand.
“Well it was fantastic!” she smiled broadly at me.
Well she seemed to be in a good mood, “Really what happened?”
“It's nothing you'd want to know, but what I can say is that things are finally looking up for me” she responded as if she was in a day dream.
“Well that's good to hear” I guess asking her how her day went only made it worse for me because now I felt left out, out of place and most of all alone.
“Well I have to go freshing up, I have a date to attend to later on” she ran up the stairs happily.
At least she's happy, than the both of us being misrable.
“Are these ours?!” Frightened by the sudden outburst I sprung up from my chair eyeing the persons that just walked in.
“Marco what are you guys doing here and where is Kristrin?” I peaked behind him and Maurice as they shoved baked goods down there throat.
“We came to check up on you, and in regards to Kristin...well he's taking care of some business” Maurice told.
“And that business entail?” I questioned further.
“Things like getting Antonio back?” Steff spoke up this time.
“Your a goddess, I never thought I'd come home to delicious foods, I'll definitely be visiting you everyday, I so grudge Kristin right now” I ignored Marco's comment and turned to Steff.
“You didn't answer my question” I folded my hands together.
“Look I've already told you enough as it is, you can ask him when he returns” he responded.
“I swear to God if something was to ever happen to Kristin, I'll brake your face Steffon and then I'm going to release that video of the two you to the press, am sure they'd love a juicy gossip!” I yelled.
“Are you gonna tell me where is Kristrin or not?” I asked for the last time.
“We can't Anna”
“For crying out loud!”
“Steffon hand me your phone” I demanded giving him my best menacing glare.
“He's not gonna like this Anna” he frowned taking out his phone.
“Do you think I care about what he likes?!” I grabbed ahold of his phone, dealing Kristin's number.
“What the f*ck is it that you want McCollum, I told you to leave me the-”
“Not another word Kristin, now your going to tell me where the hell you are this instant” I snapped ignoring his previous ranting.
“Hello?” I scowled after getting no response.
“Bella where's McCollum?” he groaned out.
“Kristrin why are you ignoring me, is this about last night?” I asked feeling a little hurt. He has never done that before.
“Bella I have to go” he replied sounding exhausted.
“Ok” I responded wanting to cry. He didn't even respond to me before hanging up the phone.
I handed Steff his phone and headed up the stairs.
Today was definitely not my day.
