Chapter 98: Chapter 98
Stone's POV
I turned to her with a scoff, and narrowed eyes. What does she want to say? That she didn't actually abort the child we had together? How true is that?
“You know how much I hate it when people bluff? I hate it so much, I'm sure you're very much aware of that” I glared at her.
“What do you mean bluffing? Lucien, I'm telling you the truth. I'm not making this up, I never really wanted to let you know, but I can't keep it to myself anymore after seeing what you were doing with that slave” She cried out.
“But you told me, you said it to my face, that you really aborted the child you were pregnant with. Are you trying to play with my head?” I yelled at her, and she burst into tears.
“I was young, and I was foolish. All I wanted was to be able to achieve my dreams. I just wanted to further my education, and yes! I tried to abort him, and I thought that I already aborted it. But when I travelled to the States, I found out that I was pregnant and that I didn't lose the baby. I did everything possible so that it flushed out, but the child was so stubborn” She continued crying, and I faced the wall still confused.
“We have a son, Bianca? Is that what you're trying to tell me? If that's the case, then where is he?” I asked anxiously.
“He's… he's in the States. I wanted to avoid telling you about this because I know you will doubt me. Lucien, we are meant to be together because the child should be a symbol of our love” She stood up, and grabbed my robe.
“Shut up! I don't want you to say a word. What do you mean by our love? There is no us, Bianca. You betrayed you, and you still expect me to love you? I'm not the Lucien you used to know. I've experienced pain, and I'm no longer the soft Lucien you knew back then” I snapped at her.
“Come on, Lucien, you made a promise to me that we will be together forever. Are you really going to break that promise?” Bianca wiped her tears, glaring at me.
“Bianca, that promise died when you left me for another man in the States. I even heard that you were getting married, and I was broken. That was how I got married to my wife. Have you forgotten?” I grabbed her neck, and she choked.
“Let… let go of me, Lucien. You're… you're hurting me” She struggled before I pushed her, and she landed her back on the bed.
“I would rather not speak to you again about us. We don't have any past together because I've forgotten all about it” I gulped down the glass of wine on the table.
“And your child? You're also going to deny him knowing his father? You're going to let him keep living without a Father?” She sneered.
“He has been living that way for the past years of his life, I'm sure it's not new to him. I didn't reject him, you kept me in the dark” I growled at her.
“But I just told you about Marvin.” She shouted back at him.
“Who's Marvin?” I asked emotionlessly.
“That's his name… Marvin. It's okay if you don't want to know him, you're so ridiculous” She screamed, and turned to leave.
“Wait” I snapped.
Madison's POV
“I… I…love… you” Zara spoke calmly, and I giggled, hugging her tight.
“I'm so happy, Zara. To think that, you're gradually beginning to speak fluently” I patted her head.
Well, I've been trying everything I can to teach her how to speak. If not for anything else, for the camp coming up in the next two days.
“You're doing a good job, Mandy. Our little Zara can speak now” Mona who was cleaning the room chipped in.
“Zara and I need some practice, you know we'll be camping with other parents and daughter in a few days. The other kids shouldn't see her as disabled. They should also know that my Zara can speak and walk” I replied, and Zara chuckled.
’S… sweet Mandy… you know… I can't walk… yet” She stated, and I laughed.
“Come on, Baby Zee, whoever said you can't walk? Have you forgotten, there is nothing that you can't do? Whatever it is that other kids do, I'm sure my baby Zee can do it too” I touched her cheeks, and she giggled.
“I…love… love you, sweet M… Mandy” She touched my hair, and we shared a laugh.
“I can't even believe my ears. To think that you're finally speaking, and to think that you will definitely start working before the day runs out. I'm very confident that you will walk. No matter what happens, I just want Baby Zee to know that Sweet Mandy loves her sooo much” I kissed her forehead. She grabbed my wrist, and kissed my fist.
“Aww… you both are just making me so emotional. I wish I had someone like Madison when I was young” Mona teased.
“By the way, why don't we give walking a try, Baby Zee? If you start walking, and speaking fluently, then there'll be no reason for you to homeschool. I'll convince your daddy… I'll convince him to enroll you into a day school just like every other kid out there” I said, and she gasped for joy.
“R…really? I'd go… to school like every other…kid?” She asked, and I nodded my head.
“Yes baby”
“Teach… me. Teach me… how… to walk'' She said, and I helped her up immediately. She struggled up, but fell on her butt.
“I… I really… can't walk…like others” She cried out, but I shook my head in disagreement.
“That's not true. Let's give it a try again” I snapped, and helped her up again.
She was about to stand, and I left her. She walked gradually to the door of the room, and gasped.
“I… I can walk now, Sweet Mandy”
