Lucien's POV

I walked straight down the hallway leading to Xavier's chambers. Even if the guards were trying to calm me down seeing how furious I looked, I still didn't care.

I kicked the door open, and walked in. He was already dressed in his wedding attire, and that increased my annoyance.

"Hello Lucien! I'm glad you were able to make it to my wedding, and on time" He smiled, I glared at him furiously.

"What's supposed to be the meaning of this, Xavier?" I growled at him, and he smiled calmly.

"You're my cousin, Stone. I don't expect you to ruin my happiest day, at least for the fact that we share the same blood" He said daringly, and I felt my pride was hurting.

"Are you crazy? Seems like you have something going on in your head? Have you forgotten that your so-called bride is mine?" I grasped his collar, and he struggled to free himself from my grip.

"What are you doing, Stone? The guards and servants are watching" He whispered, and I let go of him forcefully making him land his butt on the bed behind.

"There'll be no wedding going on today. That is if you want peace to reign, Xavier" I spoke with authority in the tone of my voice, and he scoffed in sarcasm.

"Is that supposed to be a threat? I'll do anything you ask of me except this" He stood up, and adjusted his collar.

"Really? You're going to steal my slave from me? You know how this will end, right?" I glared at him with a smirk.

"I don't care how it ends. I just want you to know that I've fallen in love with your slave, and love knows no boundary. I'll do anything and everything just so she'll come with me. What I have for her is true love, and not lust" He defended, and that got me boiling in rage.

"What nonsense, true love? I don't care whatever it is that you're feeling for her, I just want you to know once again that I'm never going to sell Madison to you. She's mine… I own her, and every part of her is mine. Nothing, no one will make me change my mind" I groaned in fury.

"Why, Stone? Why are you being so toxic? Why don't you want me to have her since I have feelings for her? Don't tell me what I have in mind is true" He laughed.

"What exactly do you have in mind? I'm just trying to protect my slave from a viper like you, and… and you think there's more to it" I stammered, but I covered up immediately.

"Protect your slave indeed! When did you start protecting slaves, Stone? I never knew you care about them so much. Is it because she's the one who your daughter loves? Don't worry, she made me promise her that I'd bring your daughter and her friend to the third valley mansion" Xavier snapped, and I fumed with anger.

"Don't you dare mention my daughter. She has nothing to do with what I'm doing, I'm only trying to save Madison" I turned my gaze away.

"Then tell me, are you in love with her too? Have you fallen for her?" He asked, and I choked immediately.

"You have nothing to say? Tell me, don't you…" He continued, but then a young maiden rushed into the room in tears.

"Master! Master!!" She fell on her face weeping uncontrollably.

"What's the matter, Siri?" Xavier snapped, and she raised her head. Her eyes were swollen.

"Master… It's Madison. She's… She's nowhere to be found" Siri cried out, and Xavier widened his eyes.

"What did you just say?" He freaked out.

"She's missing. I left the room for a second, and when I came back, I didn't see her. I've been searching for her, and think she must have been kidnapped because some of her stuff was lying on the ground" Siri continued wailing.

"What the…." He cupped my forehead with his palms.

"Who dares? Who f****** dares to kidnap Stone's slave? Tara?" I quickly suggested fuming angrily, and Xavier turned to me.

"What? How… how did you know?" He stammered.

"I don't need to be told. She must be thinking that she's gone scold free after pulling a damn trigger at me, yeah?" I smirked with sarcasm.

"What do you plan to do? You know how Lord Xeus can be? We need to act fast" Xavier snapped.

Before he could finish his statement, I already started walking out. I stretched my right hand at Axel, and he handed me a gun.

"It's either I kill Lord Xeus or I get killed by Lord Xeus. No one messes with whatever is mine" I said those words hopping into the Land Cruiser, and zoomed off. Xavier got into the other car, and followed me and Axel.

Tara's POV

The servants were applying nail polish on my toenails when I heard gunshots coming from outside.

"What's that?" I turned to the guard standing by my left, and he left to check. Few minutes later, he rushed into the room panting.

"Are you stupid? I said, ``What's that noise for?" I asked anxiously.

"My lady, it's Master Lucien of the Stone's castle. He's the one shooting" He managed to speak.

"What? Stone?" My heart skipped a beat. I jerked up kicking the servants.

I rushed down to the dungeon as fast as my legs could carry me. He's definitely here for the slave.

"Hey! Wake up, sleepy head" I kicked her roughly, and grabbed her up.

"Miss Tara?" She called, and I clasped my left palm on her mouth.

"I can't let them see you. We'll be sailing far away, and they'll never see you again" I yelled at her.

She groaned in pain, and I never cared about it. Neither Stone nor Xavier would find her. She should die, and leave our lives. I dragged her along rushing over to the beach at the back of the mansion……
