Madison's POV

I've never been so surprised in my life until today. Staring at him, my jaw dropped in shock. He wasn't even going to stand, he was still on his knees staring directly at my face.

"What…what are you doing, Master? I really don't understand you, maybe you're making a mistake. I mean, you can't possibly ask me to be your wife. Furthermore, I'm just a slave. Likewise, I appreciate the fact that you treat me so well, but I can't bring myself to believe that you are actually going to ask me to marry you" I scoffed, still in shock.

"This is no joke Madison. I mean every single word I'm saying, and I really want you to be my wife. If you agree to marry me, just have it at the back of your mind you are free from slavery. No one would dare treat you like a slave again" He assured me. I stood staring at him with confusion written all over my face.

"Master, I really don't know what to say. I just want to know why? Why would you choose me? Of all the women you've met, why am I the person you want to marry? You know that I'm just a slave, and I'm an s*x doll to many masters, I don't deserve what you're asking of me" I cried out, and he stood up holding my hand.

"I don't care about any of that. What matters is that you're the one I want" He reassured me, and I exhaled deeply.

"What about ma'am Tara? She's your fiancée, I can't possibly have anything to do with you. I know I'm not supposed to say this, but I don't want her to get angry and decide to hurt me like she did the other time" I shook my head.

"I promise you Madison, nothing will make me let anyone hurt you. I don't want to be with you, that's why I'm here asking you to marry me. This will be the best gift because you will no longer be a slave, but a princess" He nodded his head.

I kept staring at him in confusion. What he just said is the truth. If I accept his offer then I'll continue being a princess for the rest of my life. I can even go and visit my step-brother Jeffery, and I'll be able to give him a better life. But if I keep being a slave, then I won't be able to leave this place.

"Okay… I… I accept your offer master Xavier. Yes, I'll marry you. I'll spend the rest of my life with you, but you have to promise me that I can bring my best friend, and Master Stone's daughter here" I stared at him with pleading eyes.

Smiles filled his face, and he nodded his head in agreement. He was looking so happy that I wondered if it was only because I accepted his offer that was making him so happy.

"You can do anything you like, Madison. I don't mind if you have to bring the whole world as long as you are going to marry me, I don't care" He hugged me tightly.

Now, I have to work towards being free. Why do I feel so bad accepting this offer?

Lucien's POV

The sun rays directly from the window straight to my eyes, and I blinked my eyes before opening them.

What the… did I just sleep? Like I really had a night's rest? How is that even possible? I could remember the migraine I had last night, but I can't remember how I fell asleep.

"Master? You're awake?" Axel rushed to me with a glass of water. I sluggishly took the glass from him, and drank from it.

"How did this happen? How did I manage to fall asleep last night?" I asked after drinking the water.

"It was Madison master, she sang for you, and you fell asleep. She's the reason why you slept" He answered reluctantly, and I widened my eyes in shock.

"Madison? The slave?" I wrinkled my eyebrows, and he nodded sluggishly. I quickly got down from the bed, and headed towards the door.

"Where are you going to Master?" He asked, and I turned my gaze at him.

"Where else? I'm going to see the slave Madison" I replied almost at the same time.

"She's still in the valley. She's not here in the castle" He snapped, and I was even more surprised.

"She's in the valleys? Then how did she make me sleep? Is this a stunt you're trying to pull or what?" I angrily yelled at him, and he shook his head in disagreement.

"She sang to you through the phone, and you fell asleep instantly" He replied, and I scratched my head.

Why was I so excited when I heard that she sang for me last night? I should not even bother about that, right?

"Are you sure she's not in the castle?" I asked again, and he nodded his head in agreement.

"Master! Master!!" Rodolfo rushed into my chambers breathing hard as he knelt in front of me.

"What is it?" I glared at him. He ruined my moment of thinking about Madison.

"She's getting married" He breathlessly said, and I turned to him sharply.

"What does that have to do with me? Do I need to care about someone who's getting married?" I turned to leave, and suddenly stopped.

"Wait… what do you mean by she's getting married? Who is she?" I asked all of a sudden.

"It's Madison, master. I heard she's getting married to master Xavier tomorrow night. He even sent you an invitation" Rodolfo continued, and handed an invitation scroll to me.

Anger engulfed me, and I gritted my teeth with so much annoyance. I had to get a hold of myself for a few minutes.

"Get out all of you!" I yelled thunderously, and they rushed out of my chambers.

I walked to my drawer, and brought out a pistol. Kissing the pistol, I smirked mischievously.

"There's going to be no wedding. I own Madison" I growled with possession written all over my face….
