Few days Later

I stared at my reflection in the mirror glad to see the strong girl before me . My charcoal eyes popped, indicating how prepared I was for the fight . I won't let my love once down, it's a promise I made to myself.

I picked up my sword,attached it to the case and  I hanged it around my pants . I was ready. I finally got out of the restroom only to see my friends waiting patiently for me.  They smiled widely upon seeing my outfit.

" Oh wow! You really look good in them" Ashley awed.

I blushed " Thanks I guess"

" I never knew you had all the figures in the right place . If I were your mate, I'd claim you right now " Lena joker and I burst out laughing . That girl is just something else.

" Thank goodness you are not my mate then "

She nodded" True. But on a serious note you look really good and I'm so proud that I'm your friend"

" Aw Lena , you always make me want to tear up with your sweet words. Gosh I live you too dear" I went to hug her.

" This is pure cheating . Aren't I suppose to be hugged too" Ashley stated feeling jealous.

We pulled away and I went to hug Ashley " you know I'll definitely hug you my jealous friend." She hits my shoulder lightly.

" Oww, that hurts alot " I said as I rubbed the place.

She tongue out at me " you deserve it "

" Stop being mean " I told her .

" Girls, we need to be at the ground now . It's already time " Lena announced out of the blue.

I snapped my head to her "Really?" She nodded showing me what the time says.

" We need to get going Asap"

I flexed my muscles , preparing them for the fight . I was contestant No 4. I still have three people in front of me.

I stared at the crowed in search of my instructor and sadly she was no where to be found.  I should have known better because she already told me that she might not attend the fight but my promise right now is to make her happy. She really did alot for me which I'm really grateful for.

" Where the hell is Jemima?" Ashley asked loudly looking around .

" Some respect in that name will do " I said to Ashley with an eye roll.

Ashely was surprised with my outburst " Like seriously ? I thought she was now our friend ? So you are the only on that gets to call her by her name and we don't ? "

" Guys just calm down let's concentrate please" Lena said trying to stop them from arguing.

I sighed " I didn't mean it that way. I just don't want so many attentions on us when people finds out what we call her and I know you Ashley, you always forget on time and I don't want a situation whereby you'll be carrier away and then start calling her by her name in public. Remember , she doesn't want people to know how close we are to her " so tried to make her see reasons.

Ashley rolled her eyes instead " Whatever. We better starting moving "

Lena nodded in agreement" it's almost time for the fight . Let's go"

" But Jemima said....

" We'll get to see her at the fighting ground" Lena intersect before I could finish my sentence.

I had no choice by to agree with her. We all made our way out of the room.

The chaos was just too much people were eager to see who the winner will be. I was just too scared for what might happen. I'll be so happy if I win , I mean who doesn't want to be a winner?

I flexed my muscles, preparing them for the fight.  My pack members hailed me upon my arrival and I couldn't be more grateful for that , at least I have some supporters.....

Lena and Ashley were behind me like my body guards. These two are just the best ever. They stood by me and made sure I feel loved and I couldn't be more grateful. Winning this fight for them is going to be a blessing.

" I welcome you all to this events. I'm sure you all can wait too to see who wins the fight because I'm so eager too. The fighters will be paired into two and since we could only produce ten fighter out of the ladies and 20 fighters out of the Guys. Then we are giving each and everyone of you to choose your fighting mate. This is what the King has ordered. " The Presenter announced.

I stared at the order fighters only to see that they've already paired themselves and I was left with the lady form Moon pack. She has this structure of a man , she glared hard at me and right there I knew I was done for.

" Don't be scared . I'm sure she only wants you to be scared of her . You've got this Melissa" Lena said in encouragement.

" Thanks " I whispered out .

" Well then, I can see you all are ready . Please if you know you are not part of this fight take the back stage . I only need the fighters around this area. You have 10 seconds to move." The man of earlier said through the mic.

I don't want my friends to be far from me . No! " Wait don't go yet" I said as I held their hands firmly.

" Hey Lucy breath in , you've got this " Ashley said while Lena nodded in agreement.

" This isn't the first and this won't be the last of your success. We have trust in you, we know you'll win this"

I was calmed a little bit. I wish Jemima was here too so that she can give me some encouraging words. I wonder why she hasn't been here yet. I thought to myself.

" We'll be heading to the back stage now just make sure you believe in yourself first and that's what matter most"

" Yes Mel, just have it in the back of your mind that we are behind rooting for you"
