Later at night in Vampire Territory, Alaric was kept under supervision. It was told by their healer that he had gone through physical and emotional pain immensely. Moreover, he had spat a lot of blood from his body.

" He isn't awake yet?", Rosemund spoke in a low voice, sending her brother a concerned glance.Alaric had been laying unconscious ever since the moment, Viona left after breaking their bond. Rosemund was furious over Viona and wanted to kill her at once.

The queen slammed her fist against the cupboard. Growled after peaking a glance of Alaric, she breathed through her nose hard before speaking,

" That bitch has nearly killed my son. She must pay for this. We have to manipulate Alaric to act sternly against her. We can't let him act softly around her. "

Rosemund sighed heavily. Alaric was refusing to act harshly against Viona and even willingly let her break the bond. Rosemund couldn't understand how they were going to do this. Those ferocious flights from Viona still horrified her thoughts. Rosemund bit her lips tightly, reminding her mother cautiously,

" But you saw..she is invincible.. I wonder where she got so much strength.. even against us.. Didn't you say that she is just an average, Hybrid.."

The queen seemed to fall in deep thoughts. She faced her strength openly this time. When Viona grabbed her throat, she had a subconscious feeling of her powers. Though, she wasn't sure, the queen was more curious about her birth now.

The queen pursued her lips, stepping away from her son's bed to whisper nervously,

" I felt something more from her.."

Rosemund watched her mother carefully, mouthed after narrowing her eyes,

" What..do you mean?"

The queen gulped hard, spoke after looking into the darkness strangely,

" Royalty! I felt royalty from her blood."

Rose gasped in horror, eyes widening in disbelief. Her words stuttered, unable to believe her mother's conclusion,

" How could it be...We have never heard of her before..."

The queen shook her head unknowingly. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she added in a bitter voice,

" I have no idea! Your father's clan is so big. If Viona wasn't born from Royalty, she would have never felt the power of attacking us in the temple. Which only meant that she had more powers than us and God's favourite child definitely."

Rose murmured, biting her lips angrily as she didn't like Viona from the beginning,

" What can we do now then.."

The queen added with a long sigh, keeping her tone low carefully,

" We have no choice but to depend on Lucas only. He is our only hope!"

" Arggh..", Alaric's groan interrupted their conversation as they all turned their attention to Alaric. The queen and Rose rushed forward to help Alaric in sitting up. Alaric jerked their hands off, showing distaste to his mother and sister,

" Don't touch me...!"

Rose and the queen froze in the middle, withdrew their hands nervously. Alaric snarled at them angrily,

" Get out! I don't want to see you guys!"

Rose and the queen exchanged a meaningful glance. Pain laced from Alaric's voice when he shouted at them. The first love of his life was gone but the queen wasn't a lady to give up so easily. She softened her tone, sitting on the edge of Alaric's bed silently,

" Son, you shouldn't go so easy on her. Did she care about you when you were dying? How can you let her break the bond just like that? What if you don't find your second chance mate ever? Have you thought about our clan to give an heir? What we have done is to protect you and our clan."

Alaric opened and closed his mouth in defeat. That immense pain of breaking mate's bond was killing him inside. On the contrary, he couldn't blame his mother entirely. Viona didn't care about him for once when she broke the bond.

Rose added further, noticing her brother's defeated expression,

" You should have been more selfish, brother. Look, what she has done to you. How are you going to explain to your father when he returns? Will he accept a crown prince without a mate? Have you thought about it for once?"

Alaric's thoughts were hindered after their statements. Indeed, he had been thinking about Viona's wellbeing all this time. But what about his clan and family?

Alaric pursued his lips painfully, muttering after hanging his head low,

" What more can I do? She doesn't want to stay with me, Rose! Besides, the bond is broken already. "

The queen was secretly delighted that finally, her words had affected his son's mind. She replied, patting on his shoulders with a smirk,

" Do not worry, son. It's not too late, yet. Who knows Viona might come back to you tomorrow."

Alaric gave his mother a strange glance but she didn't say anything more. After instructing the staff to take care of Alaric, she made her way outside with Rose. The queen muttered, keeping her tone low cautiously,

" Tell Alpha Lucas that they can attack Damien's pack now. I have no issues anymore!"

" Where did you go?", Damien spoke in a questioning voice, watching Viona getting inside the room. Viona made sure to clean her body before returning to the pack house.

She mumbled, slipping out of her shoes,

" Just had some university work. You haven't left yet?"

She thought that Damien was going to leave for pack's duty. Instead, she found him at home unexpectedly. Damien didn't interrogate her too much and sighed heavily to stare at the empty pack of blood bags. He pointed at the bags sternly, staring at her face to search for an answer,

" May I know what you did with that blood?"

Viona's track froze, her eyes flew over to lay on those bags ironically. It was her fault to act so carelessly. Last night, she couldn't control herself when she saw those bags. It had been a long time since she hunted for her thirst. Last time when she hunted from nearby forests, everyone began to doubt the creature. Hence, she stopped herself from hunting.

Her nervous expression didn't miss Damien's attention. Pursuing her lips together, she blurted twisting her lips,

" That...the kids played with them..I just put those bags in the dustbin..I will clear them right away.."

Damien stopped her, raising his hand abruptly,

" No need!"

But something didn't feel right with Viona's expression. Letting out a long sigh, he replied, looking into her eyes deeply,

" Someone will do that for you. All I can say is that I want to trust you, Viona. Don't hide anything from me!"

After his words, Damien left for the official duties of the pack house with a conflicted heart. He clearly saw that Viona was nervous when he questioned about those bags.

What was she hiding from him? Was she seeing someone behind his back?

Later in the evening, Ariana was absentminded ever since she overheard the conversation between Brian and Silvia. Numerous questions came across her mind.

Were they going to become intimate like the other day?

" What's wrong? You are acting weird these days!", Ashley commented, plopping on the chair with her laptop. Ariana spoke after hesitating a bit,

" Ashley, what would you have done if you think that your mate is cheating on you?"

Ashley ogled her eyes at Ariana since she had recently found out about her disaster mate. Watching her face turning pale, Ariana clarified quickly, not wanting to upset her mood,

" I am just asking for my online friend. Don't take it personally. You don't have to say if you don't want to."

Ashley released an audible sigh and scoffed leaning back against the chair,

" I would have spied on him first. If he turns out to be true, I would have broken the bond right away."

Ariana took her advice seriously and really thought about giving Brian a final chance. It was okay as long as he would have just married her. But now, he started getting more suspicious, she had no choice but to question his loyalty to her.

The clock ticked, stopping at 8 pm at night. After giving it a deep thought, Ariana decided that she couldn't just sit back and wait for Brian's explanation. Hence, she decided to find out the location of their party through Celeb. Apart from Viona and Damien, Celeb was the only person who knew about Brian. As Brian needed to trespass their territory every night, Celeb had to know obviously.

That night, Ariana left for the city, lying that she had to buy some groceries personally. Following Celeb's direction, her car stopped in front of an infamous bar. Ariana spotted Brian's car as soon as she came out of her car.

The air hit hard through her skin, making her shiver all over her body. Hugging the coat tightly, she entered after pondering inside her thoughts.

Loud music buzzed in the air. Half naked bodies brushed past off her body. Her eyes looked for Brian everywhere but found nothing until they froze over a couch. She could hear their faint voices very little from her spot because of that music.

" Dare!! Yes, brother-in-law. I won't go easy on you!", Silvia's friend Amy chriped when the rolling bottle stopped against Brian. Brian tried hard to maintain a polite smile but was groaning inside. He hated this childish acts.

Amy gave her friend Silvia a wicked glance as if they both knew what was going to happen. Pretending to think deeply, Amy stood up to yell at Brian and her friends dramatically,

" There.. there...Guys..I have an awesome dare for our brother-in-law.. I dare you to kiss Silvia on the lips in front of us."

Brian was shocked, turning furious slowly. On the contrary, Silvia blushed, looking down shyly as if it was her first kiss. All of their friends began to chorus, yelling and shouting excitedly,

" Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"
