Chapter 74: Chapter 74
As much as Rosamund was shocked by the news, she found it justified later on. She was born with witch genes that made her invincible among the vampires and werewolves. Until now, she believed that no one could defeat her except her family members until she met Viona. That rebellious Luna actually had the power of dodging her attack.
No wonder! Her brother was attracted to her in every possible way!
Rosamund wondered inside her thoughts until her mother once again let out a joyful growl,
" I still can't believe that we are going to be the greatest clan that ever lived among vampires."
Rosamund couldn't help herself from rolling her eyes. They just figured out the news and here she was already dreaming about having an heir. Putting her irritation aside, Rosamund interrupted trying to put some logics inside her mother's excited mind,
" Oh Come on! Mother! Have you thought about brother Alaric? He is never going to force her as far as my speculation says. Didn't you notice that how rude was he just because we kidnapped that girl?"
Her mother's face turned a little stiff. Indeed her son was way too arrogant with her but she couldn't let go of this opportunity at any cost. She still wanted to stay as queen of vampires for decades. Her mother snorted coldly moving aside,
" He will eventually understand that what I have done is for his future. Right now, we need that girl for our kingdom, Rose. I don't care who is she mated to or not. I want her as my people."
Rosamund bit her lips together without saying anything. Personally she didn't like Viona that much. She hated to be overshadowed by anyone and Viona could easily do that to her. But since her mother believed that she was important for the clan, Rosamund highly believed that Viona had something special definitely.

TREVISAN MANSION,
"I want a full list of them all together, Celeb.", Damien ordered coldly at his assistant aka Beta. Ever since Agatha showed him that vision, his mind was restless in finding the murderer of his parents.
Celeb nodded with understanding. Reminding of the gossips that was spreading across the pack houses, Celeb decided to open his mouth hesitantly. Taking a note of his troubled expression, Celeb suggested genuinely,
" Alpha! I really think that you should mark Luna as soon as possible. Once your souls get connected, your stress will be subsided by her presence a lot. You know how mate bond works."
Damien hummed absentmindedly at his response. It was not like he didn't want to mark her. But he waited for her own choice. He wanted to mark her only then she was willing and the time had finally come. Damien assured with a half smile,
" This eve of Blood Moon is going to witness our marking, Celeb. You no longer have to worry about me."
Celeb's expression certainly looked relived. As a Beta of Blood Moon Pack, he needed to pull all of them together for the wellbeing. Having a fully mated Alpha and Luna were essential for unity and strength of a pack.
Celeb beamed into a happy smile before saying,
" I will arrange a Grand Party for my Alpha then."

Alaric glared at the new guards standing in front of him. He was already pissed off with his family and now this new pair of controlling bodyguards sent by his mother had added salf in his fresh wound.
Alaric growled slamming his hands off over the round table for the fifth time possibly,
" I told you all that I don't want anymore guards here. I am okay on my own."
The two guards seemed to hear nothing and continued standing there, unmoved, determined to follow their duty. Alaric's brows scrutinized in anger as he saw them unaffected by his command.
His breathing turned hot in rage. Kicking the corner of his table, he roared at the guards authoratively,
" I am the Crown Prince speaking to you, damn it. How dare you pretend like you haven't heard a shit?"
Out of the no choice, one of the guard had to speak. This conflict between mother and son had been going on for decades. Queen wanted her son to be responsible, elegant like a perfect prince but Alaric was never inteneded to follow her pathway. He used to rule his life on his own choices.
The guard informed keeping his tone polite,
" Pardon us, Your Highness! It's true that you are the crown prince but we are bound to follow the order placed by our honourable queen. You know how Royal Guards serve to their family."
Alaric only huffed without arguing anymore. They weren't at fault anyways. Since his mother had sent guards to follow him around, she might have his own motives. Only fools would believe that she had sent guards to watch over him simply because he was concerned about his dearest son. Whatever it was, he was going to find out.
His mind drifted back to the moment when he learnt about Viona's abduction. Though he assumed that she was safe and sound in her mate's arms, he wanted to see her for once.
Was she sleeping? How about calling her once?
But that wouldn't satisfy his urge of watching her. His mind soon turned restless. Letting out a low frustrated growl, he ordered at his guards before going down to sat across his couch,
" Get me a drink!"
The guard compelled with a slight nod and dissapared into the dinning room to fetch a drink for Alaric. Alaric lived in a small mansion located a few meters away from his University. He wanted to stay close to Viona as much as possible and staying close to University would reduce his time of traveling from other part of city.
His guard reappeared with a tray of champagne. Kneeling down, he served drinks carefully to Alaric who was lost in his own thoughts. Alaric drank pretty clumsily but the liquor did work well on his restless mind. After thinking about his mother and sister's motives, his mind finally gave him one single solution.
' Tell everything to Viona.'
