Alaric came back to find Viona after he had a discussion with the players of his basketball team. As soon as he entered into the forest, his instinct howled warning him of a danger lurking from his surroundings.
Alaric halted in his track before breathing out a single word before rushing forward,
" Viona! "
In a blink of eye, he reached in front of that pool side and saw nothing but an empty bench. His heart clenched into a tight knot as desperation shot through his mind.
His breathing came out in pant as he switched his eyes around to search for her and called at the same time in case she was here nearby,
" Viona!! Viona!! "
In response, he heard nothing but chirping sound of birds that came from a bit far away. Tensed, he looked around to inspect sharply then he saw ths footmarks of other two people here. Narrowing his eyes at those mark, he trotted over to kneel down and inspect the mark deeply.
His lips together before letting out a cursing word,
" Fuck! Damn it."
He kicked on the tree beside him and started walking towards the opposite direction. When he was just in front of shiny lake water, he muttered something under his breath,
" Chamomile Venchas."

Damien came back as usual to pickup Viona from her university. Coming out of the car, he peered around but found no one. She should have been here by now. Damien wondered and proceeded forward to look for her.
Coming at the entrance, his blood froze when he smelled nothing of Viona's presence. He made his way inside and met her class teacher at the front who was coming out from his staff room,
" Excuse me, have you seen Viona Trevisan?"
The teacher seemed surprised then informed through his nervousness,
" I was going to call you, Mr.Trevisan. Viona's bag has left in her classroom but she isn't found anywhere."
Damien roared oggling hard at the terrified professor who found Damien's face utterly scary,
" What do you mean by that she has gone missing? How can a woman go missing from your university under thousand of CCTV footages?"
The professor informed further, keeping his eyes down on the dust underneath his feet,
" We tried to trace her but she didn't appear anywhere nearby. We really have done all the primer investigation Mr.Trevsian but really haven't any clue of her existence now."
Damien squeezed his eyes shut to control his Alpha rage and warned before leaving,
" If she isn't found within today, you all are going to pay for this."
Damien stormed outside of the university and hopped into his car in a jump. His conclusions told him that this attack wasn't done by any human. Viona was capable enough to save herself from rogues men but it happened from any creatures side, things could be turned out pretty bad. He had already broken all alliances with those Councilmen. Finding her alone would be another trouble.
Damien exhaled a deep sigh, pressed his head back against the car seat and spoke between his raspy breathing,
" Where have you gone, Viona?
Pain laced out from his voice evidently. His wolf was sad after hearing the missing news of their mate. Damien gave Celeb a quick call and reported cautiously,
" Celeb! Viona has gone missing from her university. I don't feel that any human has dared to kidnap her. Use our spies to look over the nearby areas. I will be coming back after checking on the Councilmen."
Celeb sounded anxious from the other end of phone. He warned for Damien's safety,
" I get it, Alpha but please don't step in others territory. You have no guards around. It can be dangerous for your life."
He didn't even care! Without Viona around him, he would die eventually.
Damien ended the phone call without saying anything. His eyes shone in anger as he spoke to himself in a determined voice,
" If the Councilmen is involved in this case, I am going to bury all of them alive."
Damien told his final decision to himself and drove the car fast to get into the Councilmen first. He had to figure out that Viona wasn't with them.
A sound of tire screeching echoed in the front courtyard of Council House. The guards were already outside and approached Damien as he started storming inside furiously.
A guard reached at him and blocked his path but before he could even stand for two seconds in front of him, Damien grabbed his head and teared it apart within a moment.
The other guards retracted fearfully when they all witnessed the scattered body of the other guard. Leaving the courtyard, Damien entered into the main house and met Vincent who was making his way outside.
Finding Damien all of sudden, Vincent assumed that he had come to mend their early fight. He mocked without hearing words from Damien,
" Look at the greatest, Alpha King! You have already come to plead for mercy. Too shame! What will..aahh.."
His words were left unheard. With one single hand, Damien pulled up Vincent in the air and thrashed his body against the wall beside him. The wall cracked leaving impact of his attack as he squeezed his words threateningly,
" Where is Viona? What have you guys done with her?"
Vincent was choking on his saliva. Damien used so much strength that he couldn't utter any single word anymore. Vincent choked throwing his hands and legs around to stop him but it was no vein. Damien was too angered after Viona's missing.
Hearing a little commotion, the head of Councilmen came out from his office room and was instantly turned gloomy. Damien was choking Vincent too death and the change of his eye colors proved that his wolf was in surface.
The head Councilmen named Alexander yelled earning Damien's attention forcefully,
" Damien! Let go of Vincent! What are you doing in my house? You aren't a part of us anymore."
Damien let go of Vincent as his body numbly fell down and hit the marble floor. Damien growled back stepping ahead in a ferocious way that even Alexander got afraid a little,
" Where is my Luna? I am sure that her missing has something to do with the council. Tell me, Where did you put her in?"
Alexander furrowed, shocked by the news that someone had actually dared to abduct Damien's wife. He replied truthfully and explained patiently,
" Damien! Calm down! We haven't done anything. Besides we won't stoop too low by abducting your Luna. We are men and Werewolves. We believe in hand to hand fight than using a malicious way. You know how we work. Without wasting your breath on us, you should go and search for her all over the places. If you want, we can help you this time actually."
Damien pondered for a while. He knew that Councilmen never took such lame tricks to avenge on his opponents.
Then where did she go? Who took her?
Damien replied letting out a harsh breathing,
" No need! We can find her by our own."
Damien left with his final words and headed outside of council house. Alexander sighed at his stubbornness helplessly. Of course, he was a king and he had his own bad tempter like others.
Alexander dropped his eyes on Vincent who was coughing and was groaning in pain. Narrowing his eyes a little, he spoke with a hint of warning,
" Don't let me know that you have any hands behind this case, Vincent! We don't use lame tricks."
