Viona's cheeks almost started bleeding when the Alpha made such a joke on her. The heat between her thighs suddenly increased shamefully and she wanted nothing but to run away.

He could smell her arousal, wouldn't he?

Then things would be pretty embarrassing!

She coughed snapping her face away from his mischievous eyes and went in dense silence. Damien smiled wickedly, found it rather satisfying that his beautiful wife found him sexy.

Wanting to tease him more but he was suddenly reminded that the members were expecting his visit since the last commotion had happened. They all wanted an explanation from him.

Sitting up from the bed, he spoke while slipping inside his shirt hastily,

" Come down with me! They are getting anxious probably."

Viona gave him a nod as response and blushed slightly. She was waiting for him to leave so that she could get out of this bed to find her clean pair of clothes.

Damien joked around with a mysterious laughter,

" Are you waiting for me to leave? Well, it's not like I have never seen you naked before. I don't mind seeing twice."

Viona's mouth fell agaped in disbelief. Snapping her head aside to the man angrily, she threw her fluffy pillow onto him and roared embarrassingly,

" Alpha...."

Damien endured the hit with a smile and the next moment, his face dropped a little after her words. Bending down a little, he captured her little jaw in his fist and forced her to look through his dark eyes.

Astounded by his sudden action, she heard his threatening voice,

" What did I say about calling me, Luna?"

Viona's lips trembled together reminding that how he forced her to call him by his name. Feeling agitated in his grip, Viona pursued her lips together before giving him his expected answer,

" Dam.. Damien..."

Damien smiled faintly as his thumb brushed on her trembling lips. He praised feeling the irresistible impulse of capturing those ruby lips,

" Good Girl! "

Viona's heart once again started to howl in anticipation of having his lips on her. But Damien didn't let the impulse come out and hauled up from the bed after giving her order,

" Get ready fast."

With the saying, he walked out and dissapared behind the closed door. Viona's face reddened more after the sudden proximity. Numerous thoughts ran through her mind when she recalled how Damien called out her name during his unconscious state.

Did he really care for her? Was she doing something sinful in pushing him away?

Damien walked down through the stairs with intimidating aura leaking out from his each steps. The pack members all stood up and bowed respectively at their Alpha before breathing in relief.

His presence had caused to loss few degree temperature in the room. Ashley only peaked at her once and was glad that the leech wasn't with her.

Upon coming down, she continued bantering to her mom that how Viona mistreated her inside. But there was nothing that she could do because of her damn 'Luna' status in the pack.

Damien took his place in the middle point and signalled at them to sit down. His omega, Gabe spoke eyeing at his bruised spoke with worry,

" Your Royal Highness! Are you feeling better? You didn't have to pay us visit so urgently."

Damien assured him with a smile,

" I am fine Gabe. Thanks for your concern! "

The members took their places politely and couldn't help but frowning at the little thought that Viona didn't appear on his side in time.

This new Luna was too unreliable! Some of them maliciously thought but didn't had the slightest gut of revealing it in front of Damien.

Gabe questioned on their behalf, keeping his voice low as much as possible so that it wouldn't sound rude,

" Your Royal Highness! We are worrying about the fact that why was there sudden attack happened yesterday? We haven't gotten into a fuss for long time."

Damien breathed in a tiresome sigh and explained patiently,

" Alpha Lucas's pack is targeting me for a longest time since the last time I forced him to take the punishments. From that moment, his pack is seizing opportunities for harming me badly."

Meredith rebuked, finding it rare opportunity to stirr the fire finally,

" That's dangerous Dami! You should increase your safety shells around you. Look at you! How were you stabbed! It's such a shame that your Luna wasn't there for you."

The pack members all shot her a questioning glare including Damien who only narrowed his gaze deeply. Meredith continued with concern leaping out from her voice,

" A Royal Luna should also take responsibilities of fighting by your side, Damien. But look at yourself! You were stabbed without any strong support."

Her words brought doubts and anxieties among the pack members. They couldn't help but feeling pretty much offended that Viona provided no help to Damien. Besides the pack was attacked as soon as she had joined in this pack.

Was she really a witch as the rumors said?

Damien protested reasonably,

" Aunt! I didn't ask her to join me. She is a fighter Luna, everyone knows that."

Ashley's face grimaced furthermore when Damien mentioned that Viona had Alpha blood by birth. It was something preveileged that a wolf could ever had. She hated to spill out the fact that she was born from a omega and would always be a low classed omega.

Meredith replied back sharply,

" No matter she is a fighter or not, she hasn't done anything for you or our pack Damien. If she can't even provide you this little help, why must she behold the title of 'Luna'? Ask her to step down so that you can have some peace. Do you know? If this news get leaked, everyone will say that you have a weak Luna."

Ariana happened to hear their conversation from the kitchen and made her way outside thoughtfully. She informed with a cold voice,

" Aunt! Luna might not have fought by brother's side but she gave us enough support yesterday. She even asked me to keep the pups save inside our hidden room unless the commotion eases down. What more do you expect from her?"

Meredith hussed her with a cold sneer,

" Don't talk more than your status. You have no words in this table. Go and cook for us."

Meredith's harsh words caused her heart aching terribly. Whenever she spoke, she was reminded by them that she wasn't anyone from them. She was just a lone wolf banished from her pack and was adopted by Damien out of pity. She sighed painfully and wanted to leave but another powerful voice came out from the stairs,

" Before scolding her, why don't you reflect on your behavior first aunt?"

Meredith was stunned before frowning hard at the way of that voice. Startled by Viona's intense glare, she averted her eyes somewhere else and couldn't help feeling little uneasy. Lunas had the powerful aura after Alpha and was capable enough to turn other wolves in her submission.

Viona strode through the stairs slumpy and walked directly by Damien's side. After taking a closer look of their surrounding, she spoke in her Alpha voice,

" If anyone has the doubts regarding my capabilities, you are welcome to throw an open challenge at me. I would be more glad to join in fight with anyone of you."

Damien whispered stressing on his words,

" Viona..You don't.. have to.."

Viona interrupted lowering her eyes down at Damien,

" It is necessary, your highness! Our Authorities can't be challenged."

Moments afterwards, everyone heard a voice as soon as Viona threw an open challenge,

" I will fight with you."
